エミと萌美路
Visited on January 24, 2019, with a friend for a dinner date. We decided to go to "Kokorozashi" as we didn't feel like cooking that day and had been curious about it for a while. It is located behind Pastel Park, across from the parking lot of "Shirakiya" and "Sumibi Yakiniku Bar" on the other side of the road, in a Japanese-style building.
We called 30 minutes before our visit to confirm, and even though it was a last-minute decision, they kindly accepted us. "Kokorozashi" offers only omakase courses, with prices ranging from 3000 yen, 5000 yen, to 8000 yen. We chose the 5000 yen omakase course this time. The restaurant was elegantly designed, with a mix of Japanese and Western elements. We were the only customers there, and we sat at a large table towards the back.
The staff consisted of a male chef in the kitchen and a cute female server. We ordered drinks, including "Hokkaido no Katsu Shiboritate" sake. The drink menu was a bit pricey, but we enjoyed the selection. The food was a mix of Japanese and Western fusion, using seasonal ingredients. We were served a variety of dishes, including jelly with salmon roe, bouillabaisse with shrimp broth, sashimi, flounder and scallop munière, grilled Hokkaido beef with local vegetables, nigiri sushi, red and green miso soup, and homemade Mizushingen mochi dessert. Everything was delicious, but the Hokkaido beef stood out as the most flavorful.
Overall, we had a great dining experience at "Kokorozashi" and would definitely consider visiting again.
