~Continuing the Tradition of German Beer Across Generations to Japan~ Another report from Otaru (laughs) I visited the popular establishment "Otaru Warehouse No.1," known for serving delicious craft beer on tap! Their commitment to adhering to the "Beer Purity Law," which states that only malt, hops, and water should be used in brewing, is quite appealing, don't you think? Located in the brick warehouse district along the Otaru Canal, which is a common photo spot, this beer pub is very popular! It seems that if you make a reservation through this site or other gourmet sites, you can enter without waiting, but our attempt to visit without a reservation was a total failure... we had to wait for about 40 minutes before being seated (laughs). We had to fill out a waiting sheet at the register and wait! If you just want to enjoy craft beer without food, you can order on a form and use the second-floor seating, where the beer is poured and served promptly, so it's recommended for those who just want to enjoy beer! We were a bit hungry, so we patiently waited (laughs). While waiting, we spent some time in the free tour area on the second floor, which is also nice! Some people were visiting the tour area with flushed cheeks from drinking after their meal (laughs). Until 5 p.m., you can also use the terrace seats along the canal, so if you have no plans like work or driving, you can enjoy Otaru beer while leisurely gazing at the canal during the day! Finally, we were seated and ready to quench our thirst! (laughs) This time, we ordered the following and enjoyed them! [Beers] "Pilsner, Dunkel, Weisse, Himbeere Bier (on the first floor)" "Waldmeister, Radler, Schwarze (on the second floor for drinks only)" * I tried all of them in a small size for comparison (laughs) [A la carte] "Caesar Salad ¥550" "Sausage Plate ¥1,078" "German Potato ¥748" "Bridge Toast ¥858" All the beers are served on tap, making them easy to drink and incredibly delicious! The raspberry-flavored "Himbeere Bier" is sweet and easy to drink, making it very popular with women! My personal favorite was the "Weisse"! It's refreshing, fruity, and incredibly easy to drink and delicious! The a la carte menu is reasonably priced and very tasty! It seemed like the hall staff were understaffed during the busy period, as the chef himself was seen bringing dishes to the tables! The German potatoes in Hokkaido are incredibly sweet and delicious! Especially the mozzarella cheese and French bread "Bridge Toast" is excellent! The crispy French bread has a crunchy texture, and the rich mozzarella cheese pairs perfectly with it, making it easy to eat and highly recommended! Although our stomachs were starting to fill up from the a la carte, we decided to indulge in more Otaru beer (laughs). Since we had come all the way to Otaru, we wanted to taste all the beers, and some customers were patiently waiting for their turn, so we vacated our seats, settled the bill, and then headed to the second round to order more beer. The atmosphere on the second floor allows you to experience the ambiance of a German beer pub while slowly savoring delicious Otaru beer! We quickly finished our delicious drinks and food! The place was quite lively, making it difficult to overhear conversations, which was nice! When you visit Otaru, I recommend "Otaru Warehouse No.1" for a unique Otaru beer experience and delicious a la carte dishes for a sophisticated adult experience! Please be careful not to drink too much (laughs). There were also many families with children enjoying themselves, which was nice! It was a very delicious experience! Thank you for the meal.
