After soaking in a hot spring that exudes a sense of secret hot spring, I wondered if it would be okay to have wet hair, so I visited the restaurant and izakaya Mukagawa for lunch. Just a side note, the hot spring I just bathed in, Tsurutsuru Onsen nearby, was even more powerful in making my skin smooth! I wrote about it in my diary, so if you're interested, please take a look. Before noon, I had already researched that it was inside a nursing care facility, but it's actually the dining hall inside that facility. The set menu was a good deal, but I couldn't indulge after finishing my health checkup. According to a blog, the chef specializes in Chinese cuisine. I ordered the Mapo Tofu set meal (rice, salad, pickles, side dish, miso soup included) for 750 yen. After the sound of pots clanging, it arrived in about 4 minutes. The Mapo Tofu had chunks of tofu and a strong thickness, which was good, but a bit too sweet for my taste. The rice was very appetizing, maybe more suited for an izakaya taste. The side dish was green bean with sesame dressing, and the rice seemed like it was cooked in large quantities. The miso soup was not particularly memorable. The staff at the facility was also having their meal, and as one of them said, "Sorry for leaving some, the portion is too big," it's definitely a portion for men. The rating may have been different if it was fried rice and ramen, but because the Mapo Tofu was a bit outside my preference and on the spicier side, I gave a slightly lower rating. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible! Thank you for the meal.
