I went to Cafe Tanpopo! I found out about it from a review of Cara papa, a shop that supports the employment of people with disabilities, and was eager to visit. The Kunisaki Town Hall is very impressive. I ordered at the counter, where there were many menu options to choose from, all under 500 yen. I couldn't decide between the set meals and noodles - the ramen looked good too. I ordered the ginger pork set meal for 500 yen, which came with salad and miso soup. I waited at my seat and it was ready in about 6 minutes. They brought it over - wow, the portion size is quite generous! It's a proper serving for one person. The ginger pork had a slightly strong flavor, with hints of miso. It was delicious, and the meat was tender. The salad with plenty of ginger dressing was a nice touch, and the rice was also tasty with furikake. It was a satisfying one-coin set meal. Next time, I'll go for the ramen with small rice and salad. Thank you for the meal!

I went to have lunch in Kuriko Town. I had heard that there was a dining place inside the town hall, so I decided to check it out. I parked my car in the parking lot and headed towards the building, but I couldn't see any obvious signs of a restaurant. Of course, it's the town hall after all, so there wouldn't be any banners or signs, right? I cautiously walked through the main entrance and looked around, and to my surprise, the restaurant was in a small space on the left side. It was called "Cafe Tanpopo" and it was a supported employment facility. There was a very friendly woman working alone at that time. The other staff members were taking their lunch break at a table, maybe they had finished their work for the day. It was past 12:30 pm and there was one customer already there. There were about four counter seats and table seats. The menu mostly consisted of items priced at one coin (500 yen or less). I ordered the "Napolitan" for 500 yen, which came with soup and salad. The Napolitan had a strong ketchup flavor, with sausage, onions, bell peppers, and shimeji mushrooms as toppings. The pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The salad was crispy and the wakame seaweed soup was also great. I would definitely visit again. I'm curious to try the set meal next time, but the ramen also looks tempting.
