I even finished the extra rice with no problem. However, it's a bit pricey for a lunch over 1,500 yen... Looking around, I noticed that many people were ordering the drink bar and relaxing. I ate quickly this time and went somewhere else, but next time I want to take it easy. We made a reservation through Gurunavi and visited for the first time with three people. We ordered a small beef stew, natural shrimp fry & red snow crab cream croquette for 1,958 yen. We also had a Hot Fudge Sundae for 858 yen and added a drink set for 385 yen. In the past, there were few places open during New Year's, so we relied on Royal Host. Although a branch opened at New Chitose Airport, the ones in Chitose City and Tomakomai closed, so it has been a while since we visited. The menu hasn't changed much, and I was satisfied with the beef stew set with a choice of rice or bread. The shrimp was large and delicious. I used to eat this sundae often. They also have a small dessert for 165 yen, which is perfect after a meal. I also like the British-style bread, which is soft and fluffy. The service is still great, and I love the atmosphere. Royal Host, or "RoyHo" as it's commonly known, is a delicious family restaurant. It was surprisingly empty this Christmas morning, so I decided to treat myself to their Morning Set. I ordered the Morning Plate with Scrambled Eggs for 440 yen and a side of Morning Salad for 110 yen. Despite its upscale image, Royal Host offers a very reasonable breakfast menu. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious, the hashed potatoes were tasty, and the British-style bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sausages were a bit overcooked, but overall, the Morning Plate was great. The Morning Salad was just average, with nothing special to note. I had a delicious and enjoyable start to my day at Royal Host. There are only six Royal Host locations in Hokkaido, with four in Sapporo, one in Ebetsu, and one in Chitose. I hope they continue to thrive, as I will definitely be back. Thank you for the meal.

I became interested in trying the highly recommended hamburger from Roy Hostaff, which even TV show judges approve of. The hamburger costs around 1400 yen for a 190g patty, with the set being an additional charge. The set includes lobster soup, rice, and a drink bar. I chose the brown butter sauce for the hamburger, which was delicious. The side dish was penne gratin. The hamburger was made from a blend of black wagyu beef and black pork, and it was very tasty. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the sauce complemented it well. Breaking the soft-boiled egg on top added a creamy touch. The penne gratin was also delicious. Overall, the hamburger was a satisfying treat, far exceeding typical family restaurant quality. The lobster soup was flavorful without being overpowering. It was well-prepared. I also tried Roy Hostaff's American coffee after a long time, and although it was light, it was delicious.

I have been going to this Royal Host for over 40 years. In the past, Royal Host used to be expensive and only served coffee, but recently, with the prices of other restaurants going up significantly, Royal Host doesn't seem as expensive anymore. I saw a special feature on JobTune about Royal Host, and I felt like eating Seafood Doria, so I decided to give it a try. It was crowded with people who had also seen it on TV, but I didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The American sauce made from lobster was indeed delicious. It had a rich flavor without being too heavy, allowing the taste of the lobster to come through. The Seafood Doria contained only rolled shrimp and scallops, but they were exceptionally tasty. The shrimp had a firm, muscular texture, similar to Hokkai shrimp, and were very flavorful. The scallops seemed to have been separately grilled, giving them a fragrant and delicious taste. Both seemed to have been dried overnight to enhance their flavors. Some may find the portion size small, but considering the punch of flavor from the American sauce and ingredients, this amount was just right. This experience made me reconsider Royal Host.

The silver eel at Ginshari was recommended on YouTube, so I decided to visit Royal Host after a long time. They had onion gratin soup, which I ordered along with a double portion. I also ordered a Cosmo Doria, which brought back memories. For the main dish, I tried the Juicy Grilled Chicken with Butter Soy Sauce. The chicken was tender, but not as amazing as the sauce. However, I was more impressed by the onion gratin soup and Cosmo Doria. Royal Host has a great variety of menu options. I definitely want to go back again.

Recently, I've been on a kick for old-fashioned Napolitan, so I decided to visit the classic family restaurant "Royal Host," which could be considered a representative of the Showa era. However, to my surprise, they didn't have Napolitan or even Meat Sauce! Instead, they offered a fancier-sounding Bolognese. As a middle-aged man nearing 50, "Meat Sauce" sounds more fitting to me, haha. Anyway, I decided to order the Bolognese. Despite the disappointment, the presentation, portion size, and taste were all elegant. The noodles were thick and chewy. Please, can you serve me some "Napolitan"?

This is a place in Ebetsu City, along Route 12 in Nopporo Town. For the exact location, as always, please check the map on Tabelog. I went to a bistro in Ebetsu that had moved from the station to Nopporo, but it was closed. So, this time, I visited a restaurant where you can also enjoy Western cuisine. Upon arrival, I parked my car in the parking lot next to the shop and entered. I informed the staff of the number of people, and we were seated at a 4-person booth. I carefully looked through the thick menu and ordered the "Beef Jawa Curry Lunch" and "Onion Gratin Soup" while waiting for the food. First, a salad was served in 2-3 minutes. It was a refreshing salad with French dressing. Then, after 5-6 minutes, the Onion Gratin Soup arrived. I removed the bread lid and tasted the rich onion soup with melted cheese. After 2-3 minutes, the main dish of the day, Beef Jawa Curry, was served along with the curry pot. I poured the curry sauce over the rice garnished with fried onions, finely chopped fukujin pickles, and chutney. The curry had a familiar taste with well-cooked beef and spicy curry sauce, making it easy to eat with a moderate level of spiciness. Royal Host is a long-established family restaurant with many branches in Hokkaido, but now there are only five stores in the region, which is quite sad.

Along Route 112 in 2022, I had dinner at Royal Host after work for the first time in a long time! They have a variety of Western dishes, and although it's a bit pricey for a family restaurant, considering the quality, it's reasonable. I had a glass of white wine for 380 yen, which was easy to drink. As a wine pairing, I ordered the "Chilled Consomme Jelly & Flan with Uni and Ikura" for 580 yen. The smooth flan with a gentle salty jelly was unexpectedly authentic and delicious. I splurged a bit on the "Red Snapper, Shrimp, and Ikura Paella" for 1780 yen. It looked luxurious with plump mussels, two shrimp, crispy skin, sautéed domestic red snapper, and a nice saffron aroma. The seafood broth was flavorful, and squeezing some lemon over it made it refreshing. The aioli cream allowed for a change in taste. The flavors were good, but the portion was a bit small. It's over 30 degrees, so I decided to have lunch at Royal Host. I wanted to keep it under 1000 yen, so I thought of going for the daily lunch special, but today it was fried food and high in calories. So I went for something similar in price, like the "hot plate set". It's so hot, but the hot plate was just okay. It tasted like canned tomatoes. I wish they had used more herbs. The salad was fresh and delicious though. Royal Host is closing down in many places, but I hope they keep trying!

There are plenty of things to talk about with friends. Where should we go? Let's just go to Royal Host for now? Family restaurants are easy to go to. There must be a rule to guide customers from the window side... haha We all decided on the pancake salad brunch set, drawn to the avocado. It was satisfying to enjoy both salty and sweet. The post-meal dessert, bittersweet coffee jelly, was just the right size and delicious.

Royal Host! Most of the customers are Madams, right? The Angus sirloin steak lunch is 1,922 yen. It's expensive if you try to eat it at a family restaurant... I was suddenly taken here and suddenly asked to order. 2,000 yen... There's no salad bar here! Maybe if you only eat cheap lunches, the family restaurant's prices seem high? (^-^; The first bite was tender and delicious. But from the second bite, I started to notice the sinew and wanted a knife. I'll probably come back when I least expect it.

I've been hearing good things about the cost performance of this place, so I decided to check it out. I was aiming for my favorite Shine Muscat flavor! However, when I ordered, the staff came back and said, "Today we have more Shine Muscat and less Kyoho grapes, is that okay with you?" Of course! I'm here for the Shine Muscat anyway! After a while, it arrived. Wow!! It was so delicious! The sorbet, which I didn't have high expectations for, was also amazing! Underneath, it's mostly Shine Muscat, with some Kyoho grapes mixed in. It's so good! There's also cheesecake and jelly layered in a stylish way. It's all so tasteful! And all of this for under a thousand yen. I think it's a great deal! Next month, they'll have chestnut flavor. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

After moving my body a bit, I got hungry so I asked for a smaller portion of rice. I love sweet and sour pork, so I enjoyed it. It's a bit disappointing that Royal Host doesn't have free Wi-Fi.

It has a calm atmosphere. The taste is truly delicious.

The price is high, but the taste is solid. The strawberry parfait is delicious.

It was delicious in a normal way, but nothing particularly memorable. That's how I feel about family restaurants (￣∇￣)
