I was looking forward to the sashimi menu. Unfortunately, there were only two options available, so I ordered the beef intestine sashimi. It was spicy but delicious and went well with alcohol! The skewered dishes were also tasty. Since it was our second stop, we missed the last order for the motsu nabe, so I definitely want to visit as the first stop next time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and relaxing.

I had a great time with my dear friend at this yakiniku restaurant. Unfortunately, they didn't have beef intestines sashimi that day, but we enjoyed a variety of grilled beef intestines. The miso paste goes well with the intestines. The counter is small and cozy, perfect for casual drinking.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after being invited by a friend. The place has a cozy and hidden vibe. We took off our shoes and were seated. It's not a very big place, so reservations are recommended. We toasted and then ordered various dishes, but the cobukuro was incredibly delicious. I definitely want to order it again next time I go.

I had always wanted to go there, but it was difficult to make a reservation and the days I could go were limited, so I hadn't been able to go. The chain of this restaurant is really good, with a stylish selection of items. The atmosphere is lovely, with a building that looks like a renovated old house. You take off your shoes when you enter and sit at the counter or on a raised platform. We ordered the motsunabe (beef tripe hot pot with soy sauce base for two people), three kinds of motsu sashimi (heart, diaphragm, and rumen on that day), liver sashimi skewers, sagari (pork), and cheese with mustard and wasabi. The motsunabe uses beef fat and has a slightly acidic soy sauce base with the umami of burdock. It's delicious and goes well with drinks. The best dish here is definitely the motsu sashimi. The preparation is excellent and brings out the umami flavor. It's very tasty. If you go, this is the dish to try, but there are other places I like for motsu sashimi, so I might go there instead. A good side dish was the cheese with mustard and wasabi, which went well with alcohol. There was a variety of shochu, although I'm not familiar with it, I found a familiar one called Torikai (rice shochu) and had it on the rocks. It was delicious. The prices are not cheap, but the atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. There's something missing that makes me feel a bit hesitant, even though I used to like this place.

A popular restaurant with hard-to-get reservations. Personally, I'm not a fan of motsunabe. The liver and small intestines were fresh and not too strong in flavor. I didn't overcome my dislike for motsu, but I can see why this place is always busy. It might be recommended for those who enjoy offal. The Kobukuro sashimi was the best, with no strong taste. There are mixed comments about the service, but I found the young staff inside to be courteous. Smoking is allowed and they accept cards. It seems children are also welcome, as I saw families with young kids coming and going.

I used it on the second day in Sapporo. On the first day, I encountered a very delicious restaurant, so I had quite high expectations, but it was just delicious. The beef tendon sukiyaki was delicious. The grilled skewers were not at a level that would make me want to go out of my way to eat them.

There is a hidden gem located a little off the main area of Susukino, with delicious restaurants lined up. Among them, there is a cozy place tucked away at the back. The door is low, giving off a certain atmosphere. I arrived earlier than my reservation, but they kindly accommodated me. As it was getting cold, I ordered the motsu nabe (soy sauce) hot pot. I also ordered motsu sashimi, as well as heart, liver, and tripe. From the motsu yaki menu, I ordered sagari skewers and liver teppanyaki. While waiting for the hot pot to be ready, I enjoyed the motsu sashimi and motsu yaki. The heart and liver were delicious, and the liver teppanyaki was also tasty. This place is a dream for those who love sake. The motsu nabe was also excellent! Finished off with a delicious zosui. It's a popular spot and can get crowded, so be mindful of that and the early closing time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had a lot of ingrown hairs that bothered me. The opening hours were short and I couldn't go there easily, but when I called on Sunday, I was able to make a reservation, so I visited for the first time. I ordered various skewers and sashimi. It felt like a fair price, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant was good, so I'm thinking of going again. Maybe next time I'll try the motsu nabe.

This time, I would like to introduce "Izakaya Gonbe" to you. My junior really wanted to take me there, so we visited the place. The food was really great, but... the staff's attitude was already terrible when making the reservation haha. There were only two people in the hall, but they were constantly together, so our drinks didn't come at all and the empty tables were not cleared, giving a slow impression. However, what shocked me this time was the "rebatteki". I usually order motsu sashimi as my main dish, but this time my friend wanted to try rebatteki. It was completely different from what I had imagined. The sauce was thickly clinging to the liver, with a sweet and salty flavor. It's strong on its own, but when mixed with egg yolk, it's just perfect (lol). It goes well with alcohol and is also great as a side dish for rice! Not to mention the tenderness of the liver! If I come back next time, I will definitely order it.

When it comes to raw meat, I occasionally feel like going here. I made a reservation and was told that an hour would be enough, so I entered the restaurant alone. I didn't want to drink too much, so I understood. I enjoyed some liver, cow's rumen sashimi, skirt steak, and spicy skewers. They were all delicious. Finally, I added some extra food and finished with a sudachi sour. I left the restaurant after a satisfying hour. It's nice to take it easy, but I have other places I want to go, so I'm happy with this. Thank you for the meal.

Just a short walk from Susukino Station ◆――――――◆――――――◆
I happened to find the izakaya Gonbe on Instagram. Lately, I've been coming to this area a lot for work and was having trouble choosing a restaurant... I thought the meat might not be cooked well? So I decided to go there and it was the right choice!!!
- The quality of the fresh internal organs and the thorough cleaning were impressive.
- The high-quality skewers and grilling were done with a stable and reliable technique that's hard to come by. The taste was so delicious that if you don't balance it out with something light or pay attention to the composition of the food, you might feel a bit heavy afterwards. It's my own fault, but this is a local favorite with packed seats every day, and it's rare for a restaurant like this to have many female customers, which is worth noting!
The staff may not be the friendliest, but that adds to the charm and makes it suitable for a casual date or a business dinner after-party! ✌️

Gonbe Izakaya, which many of my favorite followers frequent, is a popular spot known for its large servings and highball drinks. Despite multiple failed attempts to visit, I finally managed to get a seat after seeing an Instagram story indicating availability. However, upon arrival, the place was crowded and many people left without being seated. Eventually, we were able to get in when a group of three customers left. Unfortunately, many items on the menu were sold out, and the staff seemed unfriendly. I tried the beef sinew and skewers, which were delicious, but the quail eggs were too salty. Despite finally getting a seat, I left feeling unsatisfied. The restaurant was also quite cold, so be prepared to keep your coat on. The seating style was traditional Japanese with a sunken table at the counter and cushions in the tatami room. Next time, I definitely want to try the heart and liver dishes.

I love raw meat and this place had good reviews. However, the meat was more cooked than I expected. It didn't have the raw meat texture I was looking for... The yakitori was delicious though! Everyone else was eating motsunabe, so maybe the motsunabe here is good? Maybe this wasn't the right place for a second stop? The hostess was a bit cold or stern...

Dinner on the second day of my trip to Hokkaido was at this place. It's a great restaurant where you can enjoy various cuts of raw meat, and the motsunabe (offal hot pot) is incredibly delicious. When it comes to places with delicious meat in Sapporo, I personally think it's on par with Yoroshii. We had: - Hatsu sashimi (lightly cooked) - Liver sashimi (lightly cooked) - Mino - Senmai - Coltan - Kushi-nikomi (skewered and stewed) - Sagari skewers - Liver teppanyaki - Throat cartilage - Shibire - Quail eggs - Motsunabe (soy sauce flavor, for 2 people) - Ramen to finish Everything we tried was delicious, and I would definitely order the same menu again if I come back. We enjoyed various cuts of meat through raw, grilled, and hot pot cooking methods. It was great to have all of this with 4 people, including some drinks, and the bill came out to be only 4500 yen, which was very reasonable.

Susukino, a traditional Japanese inn called Gombe is located about a 5-minute walk from Toyohira-Susukino Station. This is where you can finish your Sapporo bar hopping. The entrance has a step down, so both men and women need to bend down to enter the shop. Be careful when entering. Take off your shoes and go up to find a counter on the right and table seats in the tatami room on the left. In the cold winter, start with a hot water split of shochu from Murao. The soft-cooked liver of motsusashi is creamy and has a different texture from raw liver. The boiled beef tongue is soft and fluffy, especially delicious when eaten with wasabi. The grilled heart is firm with a touch of mountain wasabi for accent. The maruchou yaki is chewy and sweet and savory, perfect for drinking. The grilled throat cartilage is crunchy and releases a juicy umami flavor with each bite. The grilled fatty chicken skewers are delicious, I wanted more! It was time for my flight, so I finished my meal here. I recommend this motsu izakaya for those who love offal.

Introducing "Izakaya Gonbe" this time. They open at 3pm and specialize in motsuyaki and sashimi. They also have motsunabe. There are about 10 seats at the counter and 4 tables (4-person seating) in the tatami area. Let me introduce some dishes that caught my attention. "Liver sashimi" ☆×4 is amazing! It's cooked at a low temperature and tastes great! Definitely don't forget to order it when you visit. There aren't many places in Sapporo that serve liver sashimi of this quality. Highly recommended. "Tongue sashimi" ☆×3.4 is also recommended. While they also have cow tongue sashimi on the menu, I recommend the regular tongue sashimi for its value and taste. Gonbe's tongue sashimi is outstanding in texture and flavor. "Throat cartilage skewers" ☆×3.8 was my first time trying throat cartilage, and it was surprisingly juicy and tender despite being cartilage. You can really taste the cartilage, but it's not tough. It's worth a try for those who haven't had it before. Considering ordering other items, one skewer is just right.

Hello everyone! It was a really hot Sunday and I had some unavoidable errands in the city. I really wanted to stay home, watch Netflix with the air conditioning on, eat ice cream, and relax. But since I had to go out anyway, I decided to treat myself to a meal at "Izakaya Gonbe" before heading home.
I arrived at the restaurant right when it opened at 3 pm and was seated at the end of the counter. I ordered some dishes like raw liver, grilled beef stomach, beef tendon skewers, beef heart skewers, spicy stir-fried beef sinew, and chilled tomatoes. I also had a beer to go along with the food.
The low-temperature cooked raw liver was delicious with the perfect balance of sesame oil, green onion, and salt. It was sweeter than the raw liver sashimi I used to enjoy. The grilled beef stomach was served with ponzu sauce, ginger, and green onion, providing a great texture. The beef tendon skewers had a surprising lean meat taste with a sauce that resembled yakiniku sauce. The beef heart skewers were served with wasabi and soy sauce, each part seasoned differently. The chilled tomatoes were refreshing with a slightly sweet vinegar sauce and green onions.
The spicy stir-fried beef sinew had a generous amount of doubanjiang, a bit too fatty for my liking, so I couldn't finish it. Eating alone at times like this can feel a bit lonely. A highball would go well with this meal, wouldn't it?
The food was so delicious that I ordered another serving of raw liver. With two beers and one highball, the total came to 5,544 yen. It wasn't cheap, but the satisfaction level was high thanks to the delicious food. Thank you for the meal!

The endless state of emergency continues, and I'm tired of it, so I'll drink alone here. I enjoy my favorite low-temperature cooked raw meats as snacks while sipping on my drink until 7 pm. Due to the pandemic, it seems that many ingredients are not available. Despite this, I enjoy grilled cartilage and heart for the first time. The cartilage has a wonderful taste and texture, while the heart is cut and served using the outer part, making it soft and delicious. It is served with Western or Japanese horseradish, giving it a refreshing taste. The drinks may be a bit pricey, but even considering that, I think it's really delicious. I had a good drink and then headed back to the hotel. Thank you for the meal!

I've always wanted to go to Gonbe, and finally made it! I parked my car at the coin parking next door since the entrance doesn't have a clear sign, which actually adds to the fun. When you open the small door and enter, you'll find a great atmosphere and delicious smells. I ordered Sagari, Sashisenmai, Namuru, Gorigori Motsunabe (soy sauce), and was disappointed that the heart and tongue sashimi were sold out. Everything was delicious, so I definitely want to go back again. Maybe next time I'll try the Chiritori Nabe.

"I was well aware that many restaurants in Susukino are closed on Monday nights, but I found myself wandering again. After being turned away from a yakiniku restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and an izakaya, I ended up here. Despite being full the last time I tried to come, I decided to give it a shot this time. I was seated at the counter as a solo diner, so I took off my shoes and sat down. The restaurant had about 4-5 tables and around 10 counter seats. I started with a Premium Malt's draft beer (550 yen) and was served some sweet vinegar-pickled daikon as an appetizer. I ordered raw offal and skewers: raw liver (680 yen), harami (diaphragm) (680 yen), pork esophagus skewers (220 yen), and beef tendon skewers (240 yen). The raw liver was delicious with plenty of sesame oil, and the skewers were juicy and flavorful. I took a break and ordered more dishes: celery and water kimchi (480 yen), maruchou skewers (beef intestines) (240 yen), and boiled beef tongue (780 yen). The celery was crunchy and tasty, the maruchou skewers were crispy and sweet, and the boiled beef tongue was tender and slightly salty. I had two more beers and two more glasses of sake before feeling satisfied and leaving. I had a great time chatting with the staff and will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal."
