The restaurant was all-you-can-eat so I didn't have high expectations for the taste, but it was surprisingly delicious! The lineup was a bit on the younger side, but everything was tasty! The portions were small and easy to eat! I would definitely want to go back with someone who has a big appetite!笑

On a certain holiday, I finally visited a yakiniku restaurant that I had bookmarked for a while, located in the basement of Norbesa in Susukino. The restaurant has a lot of partitions inside, making it seem spacious and in times like these, it feels even more reassuring to be able to dine there. The background music is rhythmic jazz. For lunch, there is an all-you-can-eat option, but since it wasn't a special occasion, I opted for the ABC set (1380 yen) where you can choose from 4 types of meat. I chose the "Marinated Beef Kalbi," "Marinated Pork Kalbi," "Beef Skirt," and "Pork Miso Hormone." The meat arrived chilled and was a bit tough, needing some time to cook on the grill. The Marinated Pork Kalbi was a bit large for one bite, requiring scissors to cut it into smaller pieces. The Marinated Beef Kalbi was also large and had some fat and sinew, making it a bit difficult to chew. The Miso Hormone had the most meat and a unique flavor due to the sauce. The Skirt Steak was simple with a salt or soy sauce seasoning, and the fat content was moderate. The meal also included a leafy salad with citrus dressing, namul, wakame soup, and ample rice. Overall, I wondered if ordering higher-priced meat at night would result in a more delicious meal, and the original sauce may be a matter of personal preference. Thank you for the meal.

I tried calling several yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants but couldn't make a reservation for this day. Finally found this restaurant, which had a high-end atmosphere from the outside. I mustered up the courage to enter. The ambiance inside and outside the restaurant was very nice. The attentive service from the staff matched the atmosphere. The menu offered all-you-can-eat and a la carte options, with the all-you-can-eat being the main focus. I opted for a la carte since I don't eat much. I ordered items such as premium beef ribs, beef skirt meat, pork hormone, beef tongue, and cold noodles. The hormone was quite substantial for the price, with thick cuts. In terms of taste, it was decent considering the price. However, the other meats were a bit lacking in comparison to their prices. In particular, the premium beef ribs lacked the sweetness of wagyu fat and tasted mostly like lean meat. The meat was tender and had the umami of lean meat, so it would be enjoyable if you consider it as skirt meat rather than beef ribs. The all-you-can-eat menu seemed to have a wide variety and reasonable prices, offering good value for money. Despite the good ambiance and service, it was disappointing. Personal note: they offer all-you-can-drink.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits my rare disease. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment again in April-May following September last year and January this year. The supportive comments from everyone were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I am deeply grateful. I was discharged in early May, but during the check-up in late May, the doctor mentioned the possibility of another hospitalization. If I have not recovered by the June check-up, I might be hospitalized again in July. It seems that I may need to be hospitalized soon this month due to worsening condition, but it will likely be after 2 weeks of receiving the coronavirus vaccine. The doctor instructed me to confirm the vaccination schedule with Sapporo City. Sapporo City stated that those aged 65-74 will have their vaccinations completed by the end of February next year, slightly earlier than previously announced. Those under 64 with underlying conditions are prioritized, and vaccination vouchers have been sent out since July. Prime Minister Suga mentioned that vaccinations for those aged 65 and above will be completed by July this year, but a recent newspaper article stated that Hokkaido has the lowest vaccination rates for both first and second doses. Since the state of emergency, many restaurants in Norbesa have temporarily closed for lunch. "Shun to Yakiniku Sakuragi" was open for lunch. I visited for the first time directly from the hospital with my usual companion. The restaurant is located on the 1st basement floor of Norbesa in the Susukino area of Chuo-ku, Sapporo, where there is a large Ferris wheel on the rooftop. For more details on the location, please search on Tabelog. The visit was around 11:30 am on a weekday. We were guided to a spacious table room. Although the room was spacious, there were no previous or subsequent customers in this room. The lunch menu includes three types of all-you-can-eat Yakiniku and two types of selectable Yakiniku lunches, and nine types of Kamameshi. We both ordered the "Lunch Selectable Wagyu 4-Item Yakiniku Set A 1680 yen". You can choose four types of meat from 11 options, but you cannot choose the same meat. I chose "Premium Wagyu Kalbi, Wagyu Sirloin, Beef Tongue, and Beef Sagar". My usual companion chose "Premium Wagyu Kalbi, Wagyu Sirloin, Wagyu Roast, and Wagyu Kalbi". After about 10 minutes of waiting, our "Lunch Selectable Wagyu 4-Item Yakiniku Set A" arrived. The "Lunch Selectable Wagyu 4-Item Yakiniku Set A" is a lunch Yakiniku with a high-quality feel. The Wagyu meat has good marbling and is delicious when grilled. It was a satisfying Yakiniku set that left me feeling content. Both the meat and the atmosphere of the restaurant are to my liking. It is a calm and quiet place to enjoy a Yakiniku lunch. It can also be used for small gatherings, as it is a Japanese-style Yakiniku restaurant. Next time, I might try the "Lunch-limited Beef Kalbi Kamameshi 1480 yen". It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat yakiniku so I went to a yakiniku restaurant on June 29th. When comparing my past posts on Instagram and Tabelog, I noticed that there are quite a few posts that were only posted on one platform. I need to make sure to post on both at the same time. On this day, my sister and I decided to go eat yakiniku together at a nice looking restaurant. In conclusion, I think a la carte restaurants are better than all-you-can-eat places because you can enjoy the food more. Even if you go for all-you-can-eat, sometimes the quality is low or you end up feeling too full. It's better to enjoy delicious food in moderation. We had the all-you-can-eat course for 5000 yen which included dishes like Shiraoi beef brisket and Japanese beef loin, as well as a variety of side dishes. The course started with a platter and then you could order whatever you liked. Lately, I haven't been good with fatty foods and I ended up feeling a bit stuffed. The ice cream was delicious though (laughs). It's a bit sad that the drinks didn't come as quickly for someone who enjoys drinking. Maybe the restaurant was busy and that's why. They also have private rooms, so it might be perfect for a date or a party. Thank you for the meal.

I think the all-you-can-eat and drink course for 4980 yen is a good deal. There are plenty of melt-in-your-mouth meats available for all-you-can-eat, which might be more suitable for men! Each restaurant has different rules for all-you-can-eat, but the restrictions seem quite strict and detailed. For example, you can only order one serving of dishes like kuppabap or bibimbap at a time, or only one salad per order, and there are limits on the number of meat dishes you can order. It might be manageable if you go with two people, but with a group of six, these restrictions can be quite challenging, especially for work-related gatherings.

Second visit. This time, we had a girls' night out including the girl we missed last time. We were seated at a regular table instead of the raised tatami seating we had last time. Even though we had made a reservation for three people, the seating was set up for two people for some reason, but they quickly brought another chair for us. Personally, I really like the Genghis Khan dish here. The drinks also came out quickly, which was nice.

I have used this restaurant for a girls' night out twice. It has completely private rooms, so unlike the "pseudo-private rooms" at izakayas (partially separated by screens or curtains), you can have a relaxed conversation in a relatively quiet atmosphere, making it perfect for girls' night out. The meat dishes received high praise from the girls who attended. Depending on the time and day, you can use it at a fairly reasonable price, so I recommend it to those who want to have a girls' night out.

I ordered the all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat menu! It was great to be able to eat a lot at a good cost, even with the cheapest option! The quality of the meat is decent for the price, maybe a little above average, but I really liked the atmosphere!

We went with five young people. All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink BBQ for less than 4,000 yen per person is a great deal. Today, it's on us, the seniors, haha. Having a completely private room is also nice. We can talk in secret without feeling crowded. The basic set comes first. Once you finish it, you can order more. However, even while grilling and eating meat, the drinks take forever to arrive. After getting impatient, one of the seniors finally pressed the call button and asked them to bring the drinks quickly. Cheers! After finishing the basic set, we ordered more, but they took a long time to arrive again. This kept happening. The meat is frozen but doesn't taste like it. The young people are enjoying it and saying it's delicious. The potato salad and Caesar salad vegetables are fresh. The cold noodles don't have the same chewiness as Morioka cold noodles, and the dipping sauce isn't that great. The kakuteki and kimchi taste standard. The servings are small, so it's better to order extra. Last order is 90 minutes after starting, and time flies by quickly, so be aware as the staff doesn't remind you.

We had a group of four people to train our stomachs and calves this time. The training ground was Sakura-gi-san! All-you-can-eat yakiniku buffet with 85 items and all-you-can-drink course. We paid 5980 yen for the buffet plus 300 yen for premium malt beer and an extra 200 yen to extend the time. Cheers! We finished the first set and started grilling more meat. Two of us are light eaters, so they slowed down after the first set. It's a waste to eat slowly at an all-you-can-eat buffet! Let's keep eating! The quality of the meat is really good here, especially the thinly sliced and large wagyu beef, which is very tender and delicious. Other wagyu options like sirloin, ribeye, kalbi, and beef tongue are also tasty. Normally, I keep eating hormone and beef tongue, but the lean meat here is great. We also had a beef soboro bowl with a soft-boiled egg and some sausages. For dessert, we had four ice creams. It was a happy moment! Now that we ate a lot, let's walk back home. I used the 3500 yen all-you-can-eat and drink course. The appearance of Norbesa underground gives a stylish and luxurious impression. The paper apron to wear around the neck was placed next to the table, but at first glance, it looked like just a paper napkin. When I spread it out, I realized it was an apron. However, there were only two for six people, so I had to go get the rest. They should have prepared enough aprons for the number of people since they knew the reservation and the number of guests. The paper aprons had a slight non-woven fabric feel, which didn't prevent stains from getting on clothes. The meat came in an assortment, and after finishing that, you could order additional items, up to four types per person. I ordered the safe options like kalbi, loin, and hormone. Surprisingly, there was no sagari on the menu. The meat was okay for the amount you could eat. The problem was with the side dishes and drinks. I expected the pickles, like kimchi, to be delicious, but the cucumber pickles that came first had no pickled taste and the flavor didn't seep in at all. The kimchi that came with the additional order was fine. As for drinks, someone who ordered beer said it wasn't cold. I tried the original Sakuragi highball, which looked like a ribbon napoleon in orange color, but it tasted strange, somewhat bitter, and hard to understand. It was disappointing. I switched to a regular highball, which was better. Despite the nice appearance, the quality of the food and drinks was low considering the price. I probably won't visit again. Looking at the reviews, it seems like others have similar feelings. They need significant improvements to avoid being labeled as all show and no substance.
