I enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, starting with a salad of aburi salmon and squid with beet dressing. The main course was a pie wrapped in filo pastry filled with pork and consommé soup, followed by a gratin of scallops with Grana Padano cheese. The beef fillet was perfectly cooked and served with a porcini mushroom quiche. The mushroom risotto had a slightly dry texture, which was a bit disappointing. For dessert, I had a chocolate and haskap berry mousse with four types of cheese. The seafood was excellent, and the vegetables from Hokkaido were also very tasty. My favorite dish was the first one.

During my stay at the "Royton Sapporo" hotel in Hokkaido, I had breakfast at the buffet restaurant on the 1st floor called Cafe Trionon. The high ceilings and glass walls made the place feel open and spacious. Since it was a weekday morning and a bit later at 8:30, it was relatively quiet. In addition to the usual Western dishes, they also had Hokkaido specialties like chan-chan-yaki and seafood. There was also a live kitchen where they served dishes like Ezoshika deer pilaf with cheese sauce. I also enjoyed a seafood bowl with crab, salmon, squid, octopus, and what seemed to be trout roe. While the buffet may seem a bit pricey at 2,800 yen if you only focus on the food, it was definitely worth it as part of the hotel stay. Overall, I had a delicious and satisfying breakfast experience at Royton Sapporo.

I used the HokkaidoLove discount to stay in Royton and enjoy dinner and breakfast. For dinner, I had the Botan course at the hotel's restaurant, Banri, and I was satisfied with the quality and quantity, especially the shark fin soup. For breakfast, I went to the hotel cafe, Trianon, where I enjoyed a luxurious seafood bowl and more. The room I stayed in was on the 19th floor and had a great view! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I stayed at the Royton Sapporo and had breakfast at the Trianon on the first floor. The breakfast menu was renewed in July 2022, featuring freshly made onigiri, DIY seafood bowl, freshly fried zangi and potato fries, and freshly made smoothies, all reflecting the Hokkaido cuisine trend. Compared to other hotel breakfasts, it was average. The open and spacious atmosphere was somewhat spoiled by hanging advertisements and wallpaper ads everywhere, making it feel cramped and lacking the luxury feel of a city hotel. On the other hand, the convenient access to the subway and rental bike charging stations in front of the hotel is a plus.

I couldn't take many pictures of the banquet dishes, but considering the cost, hotel dining has become less impressive than before. In the midst of the pandemic, individual restaurants striving to survive seem to offer a higher level of quality.

Visit date May 15, 2022. It was a district annual meeting social gathering for the affiliated organization. Probably the first time in 3 years due to the impact of Corona?? Because of that, there were quite a few participants lol. We used a screen and had a big social gathering on the 3rd and 2nd floors separately. The food was probably within budget, but it was delicious in a normal way. Thank you for the meal.

Let's play at a hotel in the city with the local discount. I don't usually use hotels in the city center since I live in the city. I visited various hotels with the local discount, including Royton. The seafood buffet that was the highlight of the morning was gone, and there were no impactful ingredients. The hotel had a mediocre selection, and even though it was cheap, there were items left unsold.

I wanted to stay at the Royton Sapporo once. This time, after drinking a lot at Mokkiri Center and Motsu no Asa Dachi, we stayed in a twin room for two people. We brought our own alcohol. Luckily, we had a room with a great view of the main street on a high floor at night. The room was spacious, over 30 square meters, and simple yet well-furnished, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a buffet with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. There were not many dishes, but the live cheese butter omelette station and curry service added a high-grade hotel-like touch. Overall, it was a satisfying stay, with easy access to the underground parking. If given the chance, I would consider staying here again.

The national annual meeting of executives' association was held, with over 870 members gathering at Royton in Sapporo! Despite the large number of people, the kindness of the staff was commendable. The delicious food left us fully satisfied! We will definitely be back next year!

Seafood bowl from the morning. At the Sunday buffet, you could take as much salmon roe as you wanted from the bowl. On Monday, it was a system where you could take salmon roe in a container. There was also Sapporo ramen, which was tempting, but I had a limit on my stomach, so I selected the seafood. It was delicious.

It was a meeting at Royton Sapporo. After the meeting, we had a dinner gathering, but everyone was older. I didn't know most of the people at the table, but the dad seemed the youngest, so I was careful. It was like a wedding with Chinese dishes served on large plates. No one was eager to eat, so the companion had a hard time. I didn't feel like I had eaten or drank anything, so I quickly left and decided to go eat yakitori instead. The food was really delicious! Breakfast buffet! I was drawn to this hotel reservation by the buffet! The bright first-floor venue with an open atrium is lovely! There was a hearth-grilled section, unlimited freshly made onigiri rice balls, cheese, and more! I was completely satisfied with my two-night stay!
