Visited Yakiniku Town Kitami on May 31, 2023! The whole town is lively with yakiniku. In the midst of this competitive yakiniku area, I visited YamaMo, a charcoal-grilled yakiniku restaurant located on the second floor of a mixed building in the city center. I dropped in suddenly at the opening time, so the owner was a bit flustered (laughs). On this day, I visited with a couple and another person, and we sat in the back of the tatami room, staying for quite a while, drinking and eating (laughs). It was delicious! The hormone was fresh with no unpleasant smell, and very tasty. The sagari had just the right amount of fat and was tender and delicious. I don't often have the opportunity to eat kobukuro, so it was intriguing. The texture was good, and I liked it. I haven't seen takenoko (bamboo shoot) often, and I liked the texture. Maybe it was an artery? It was interesting. The cheese wiener was delicious, and I heard where they sell it, so I'll go buy some soon (laughs). The gyutan (beef tongue) was thick and tender, and they even served the base of the tongue. It was delicious. The liver was okay, I guess? Oh, maybe I'm just being picky because everything else was delicious (laughs). It was delicious (laughs). We leisurely drank and ate, and ended up staying for three hours. The lady left earlier, I wonder if the customers made it home by curfew (laughs). It was delicious. Next time, if I visit Kitami on a business trip, I'll go alone. Thank you for the meal.
