I have been to the main store near Hokkaido University a few times, but this branch is my first visit. Compared to the main store, this branch has fewer seats and has a cafe-like atmosphere. I was able to get in right after opening on Thursday, but there was a line forming when I left. I chose the curry with mushroom topping and selected the rich soup option. Even at the second level of spiciness, it was hot from the beginning and I started sweating. The vegetables were all delicious, especially the carrots and burdock were soft and sweet.

I went for a lunch during my business trip to Sapporo. The weather was nice and cool in the shade, but the front of the restaurant was in full sun, so I had to wait for about 20 minutes which was quite tough. It seems like it would be unbearable in the middle of summer. For my order, I chose the Ayurvedic herbal soup, PICA chicken with natto topping, and a spice level of 4. It was delicious and the spiciness was just right! However, I couldn't really taste the herbal aspect I was expecting. I wonder how it would compare to the normal soup. Also, when eaten with rice, the soup seemed a bit thin. But when I just drank the soup on its own, it didn't feel thin. The spiciness was perfect, not too much that it would affect my work in the afternoon. On a day off, I might even go for a spice level of 5. Soup curry in general is quite filling, so maybe I should have chosen the non-fried chicken to save some stomach space. I was really full. By the way, the staff was not very attentive. Many of them didn't know that you could choose the type of soup, assuming that customers already knew. The way they seat customers doesn't seem to be focused on increasing turnover. Even though there were some empty seats at the counter, they wouldn't let customers sit there until a table was available. It would be appreciated if they could try to accommodate customers inside as much as possible, especially considering how tough it can be in the sun.

On Sunday afternoon, the soup curry restaurant I was aiming for was unexpectedly closed, so I ended up coming here instead. There aren't many good soup curry restaurants around Sapporo Station. I had visited Picante a few years ago and couldn't remember the taste, but since there was always a line, I was sure it must be delicious. So, I decided to visit to confirm. When I arrived, I was 8th in line, and it took about 1 hour to get inside. The turnover rate was quite low. Inside, there were fewer seats than I had seen online, so I had to wait. I ordered the vegetable curry with broccoli toppings, spiciness level 2.5, and the soup was a herbal type. When the dish arrived, I was overwhelmed by the huge amount of vegetables, but the soup portion was small. At first, the taste was good, but as I continued eating, I didn't feel the herbal taste, nor did it have a strong impact. Also, I felt that this soup didn't really go well with rice. The light soup that my companion ordered had a strong Japanese flavor and was easy to drink with a unique taste. If I have the chance, I would like to come back to eat again.

The plane arrived safely at New Chitose Airport, and I was able to smoothly move to Sapporo. After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I headed to this restaurant that I had checked in advance. As a fan of soup curry, I wanted to visit this famous restaurant in Sapporo. It opens at 11 am, and I arrived around 10 minutes past that, but it was already showing "full." Well, I had some time so I decided to wait. Eventually, a staff member came out and said that there were seats available at the counter, so I took it. When I sat down, I was served water and a menu, and I placed my order. I chose the stewed hamburger as my main dish, with a rich soup. I added natto as a topping, selected level 3 spiciness (which includes 5 chopped pickles), opted for extra rice, and added a Heartland beer, all for 2370 yen. Having a beer does make the price go up a bit. Although I was told it would take about 30 minutes, the food arrived in about 20 minutes. The hamburger was of decent size, with plenty of vegetables and the added natto topping. The rice seemed to be turmeric rice, and it was indeed a generous portion. I started eating right away. The soup had a nice level of spiciness and richness. When mixed with the rice, it tasted good. The vegetables were mainly lightly fried, so they were hot. The hamburger was slightly soft, easily cut with a spoon, and had a texture that melted in the mouth. Overall, I could see why this place is popular. However, as I continued to eat, I felt like this soup curry was different from what I had experienced before? I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was something lingering in the aftertaste. Of course, I finished the whole meal, but that mystery stayed with me. I might visit another soup curry restaurant in the future to compare, as I am curious. Thank you for the meal.

The flavor is good and the spiciness can be adjusted. I chose medium spiciness this time and it was just right for me. If it was any spicier, I wouldn't be able to taste the flavor, so this level was perfect. I will definitely go back next time. Thank you very much.

I have been a regular at this soup curry restaurant since I lived in Sapporo. I used to visit for lunch often. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before opening, but there were already about 4 groups of people waiting in line. This made me realize once again that Picante is a popular place. The food is just so delicious. I usually order the shrimp or chicken leg curry, but this time I chose the hamburger curry. It was delicious! The hamburger was big and meaty, which I really enjoyed. The pumpkin was sweet and tasty as always. I usually like my curry at a spice level of 2.5, but my friend found a spice level of 2 to be too spicy, so be cautious if you are not a fan of spicy food. It might be a good idea to ask the staff for recommendations. I usually opt for "half" portion of rice, which reduces the price by 50 yen. Also, I highly recommend trying the strawberry lassi if you like it. Thank you for the delicious meal! I will definitely be back.

I had a meal with a chicken leg topped with mushrooms and extra rice at a restaurant that has been around for 3.8 billion years. It was delicious, but nothing particularly noteworthy. However, since there was a long line, I recommend going early and being prepared to wait if you want to eat there.

I had lunch at the Picanter Sapporo Station store because I wanted to eat soup curry for the first time in Sapporo. The inside of the store was a cozy and warm space. Since my hangover wasn't getting any better, I ordered the Chicken Leg with Ayurveda herbal medicine as the base and spiciness at 2.5 times the regular level. The rice portion was normal. I also had a Heartland beer. I used to have the 38 Billion Years Wind Soup at the main store, but the Ayurveda herbal medicine one had a strong flavor and richness, and it was really delicious! The 2.5 times spiciness was surprisingly hot, but it matched well with the spicy soup, tender chicken leg, and freshly fried vegetables. The store wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Thank you for the meal.

Even on weekdays, it was crowded during lunchtime, and there was still a line at 2 PM. I was lucky to get the last serving of the medicinal herb soup, which was really delicious. The "Recommendation of Vegetables" dish had plenty of vegetables in it, providing a satisfying meal.

It was full at 11:45 on weekdays. No line. Waited 5 minutes to be seated. The restaurant is small with counter and table seats. I ordered Chicken Leg with Ayurvedic herbal soup, spiciness level 2.5, and regular rice. The Ayurvedic herbal soup with spiciness level 2.5 had a nice spice kick and was delicious. The spiciness level of 2.5 was just right and tasty. The chicken was tender and the vegetables were fresh and generously sized. Even with 200g of rice, it was a satisfying portion.

I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. The restaurant was almost full, but I was able to get a seat at the counter without waiting. My curry arrived in about 10 minutes. The place remained busy for a while. I ordered the Hokkaido premium maitake mushroom (rich type 1,400 yen) and the Negi pork keema with cabbage (light type 1,400 yen). You can choose the rice portion, with options like no rice (-50 yen), half (-30 yen), less (-20 yen), regular (+50 yen), large (+100 yen), or extra large (+200 yen). There are 3 types of soup, 7 levels of spiciness, and 8 menu options to choose from. The restaurant is known for its soup curry. Around 12:30 pm, a popular soup curry place had an 85-person waitlist, so I went to this place as my second choice. The atmosphere was cozy and homey. The soup and vegetables vary, so you can choose based on the soup flavor or the vegetables included. I tried the rich and light types this time, and I preferred the rich one. The regulars seemed to order the Ayurveda, so I'll try that next time! The Hokkaido premium maitake mushroom was delicious and rich, while the keema with cabbage was tasty and light. Soup curry is always so filling that I usually end up leaving some rice. I think half a portion of rice will be enough from now on. I would love to come back to this place if it were closer to me.

The Spicy Pikachu Chicken with level 3 spiciness is delicious after all. I like the original store, so I assumed that Shambhala is located in the same place and ordered it. As a result, it had a Japanese-style feel to it. When you upgrade the spiciness to level 3, it becomes noticeably spicy, which was just right for me. And has the chicken been improved a bit? It seemed like the spices were more effective, enhancing the deliciousness.

I ordered chicken curry. Hmm... it was average. The ingredients included sweet potatoes, lotus roots, burdock roots, green peppers, potatoes, and carrots. The burdock roots and sweet potatoes were a mystery. The soup had a good amount of spices but lacked richness. It was neither good nor bad...

The taste was average. The chicken leg was also average. I didn't feel any excitement, spiciness, or aroma when I ate it. Among the many soup curry restaurants, it may be difficult to revisit this one. Overall, everything about this place was just average. The cost performance is not very good. Thank you for the meal.

I asked a friend in Hokkaido for a recommendation for a delicious soup curry restaurant. I went to Sapporo Station Picante for the first time. The broth is flavorful and delicious, and it has a nice spiciness that warms you up. It's delicious! The ingredients are also tasty, and the way the rice and soup mix together is delicious. I want to go back again when I visit Sapporo ^_^

Next to the hotel where I stayed for a few nights, there was a soup curry restaurant that I had passed by multiple times without realizing what it was from the outside. Upon closer inspection, I noticed words like "Chinese herbal medicine" and "Ayurveda" written on the wall, which might have caught my attention due to my daily indulgence in alcohol. The restaurant closed around 4:00 PM, so the menu options were limited. I decided to order the "Chinese Herbal Medicine Chicken Leg" dish. The spiciness level could be chosen from 1 to 5, with options up to 2.5 being free and additional charges for levels 3 to 5. I chose level 3 with minced spice. The dish arrived after a short wait, and the spiciness level was higher than I expected. Despite the initial shock, the flavorful soup with various spices, tender chicken leg, and hearty vegetables paired well with beer. Although the spiciness made me sweat on a chilly day, I left the restaurant feeling detoxified and satisfied. The restaurant's name, "Picante," reminded me of Gorgonzola, but I later learned that it means "spicy" in Spanish. Overall, it was a unique dining experience that left me feeling positive.

I entered the restaurant right after it opened. There were a few groups waiting after me. I realized I hadn't had zangi since coming to Hokkaido, so I ordered some extra. The soup curry had more than I expected, and I was surprised by the portion size. I ended up feeling full! The curry also had options for spiciness levels. I can't handle spicy food, so I chose the mildest one... It was delicious! ( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )

It's been a long time since I graduated from college. The taste of Picante hasn't changed, it feels nostalgic. I used to prefer the one at Voige on Kita 24-jo, but it closed down. Ayurvedic medicinal cuisine, the importance of vegetables! Steamed broccoli on top of the Picante. The unique soup in the distinctive Picante series is not included in the part with an abundance of broccoli, making the photo look unappealing. I thought it was Riki Sasaki and took a photo, but it turned out to be a different person. #Picante #SapporoSoupCurry #AyurvedicMedicinalCuisine #MedicinalCuisineSoupCurry #HokkaidoGourmet

No matter which Picante you go to, the deliciousness is guaranteed. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. I love the crispy chicken skin. The large vegetables are also satisfying. The rice is delicious too. When it comes to soup curry, Picante is the way to go.

For lunch on the second day of my Sapporo food tour, I visited the recommended soup curry restaurant, Picante Sapporo Ekimae, by Mairevi-san. I ordered the PICA Chicken for 1450 yen and a mango lassi for 350 yen, with a little less rice for 20 yen off. The soup options were Ayurveda medicinal and rich in medicinal herbs. The ingredients included deep-fried potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, lotus root, bell peppers, burdock, eggplant, and quail eggs. On top, there was crispy fried chicken. The rice was turmeric rice. The soup had a distinct medicinal flavor within its spiciness. The fried chicken, while lightly seasoned, paired well with the soup curry. The spicy and ethnic flavors were enjoyable, especially when eaten with the turmeric rice. The spiciness was rated at 2.5 out of 5, gradually building up. I sipped on the mango lassi to balance out the heat. Truly a Hokkaido specialty, this soup curry was a delicious experience. The total bill came to 1780 yen. Thank you, Mairevi-san. Thank you for the meal.
