During my student days, I worked part-time jobs day and night, sometimes from early morning until late at night. On my way back home to Hiranishi late at night, I would stop by the Mos Burger in Nakanoshima for a late-night snack. This was the ultimate luxury for me. Not McDonald's, not Miyoshi's, but Mos Burger with its luxurious sauce and cola to soothe my tired body. Despite these memories, I realized that it had been years since I last visited Mos Burger. After a morning of hitting golf balls, I decided to stop by. It was just opening time, but there was already one customer, an elderly lady, enjoying her burger. I ordered the usual Mos Burger and, since it was morning, I opted for coffee instead of cola. As I was about to move to my seat, I noticed a morning set on the right. I briefly regretted my decision, but since there was no Mos Burger, I didn't mind. After a short wait, my tray was brought to my table. The freshly brewed coffee was delicious, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. Now, how many years has it been since I last had Mos Burger? I unwrapped the paper and took a bite, careful not to let the tomato sauce spill. Delicious! But wait, was it always this tasty? It seemed a bit more refined and delicious! My memory of the taste is unreliable, but I feel like the tomato sauce used to have a stronger tomato texture and acidity. Maybe it's just my imagination? Regardless, the flavor was mild, with plenty of sauce coating the bun, making it delicious and satisfying. With a good amount of filling, it's a burger that even a man would enjoy. As I sipped my coffee, I continued to enjoy the burger. It felt good to taste Mos Burger after so long. There were some menu items I had never seen before, which piqued my interest. Just like how I crave a Big Mac every few years, I might visit Mos Burger every few years. Alone, I savored the remaining tomato sauce in the Mos Burger bag, scooping it up with my mouth. I ended up with a messy mouth, wiping it clean with a napkin. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.
