While traveling from Sapporo to Chitose, I felt like having asparagus. I checked out a few roadside stations, but they were all sold out. I didn't want to buy from the airport store because it's expensive, so I remembered that Aeon sometimes offers asparagus and corn as gifts. When I went there, they indeed had some Hokkaido-grown asparagus. I bought two types to compare and put them in the gap in my bag to take home. I boiled them as soon as I got home. They were not extremely delicious, but they were quite tasty. You can salt boil them and add a little mayonnaise to the tips, or just eat them as they are - the asparagus juice is also delicious. I think Hokkaido-grown asparagus and burdock taste better because the foundation is solid.

During the state of emergency, telecommuting has increased, so it's nice to be able to make lunch at home. Last year during the state of emergency, I often made fresh ramen, but this year I have been using dried noodles more. When I went to the supermarket, I found several types of Asahikawa ramen dried noodles, so I bought one of each. Although they are only enough for one serving, they are quite expensive. The ones I bought were: - Ramen and Tenkin Asahikawa soy sauce: Fujiwara Seimen (excluding tax 158 yen) - Hachitani soy sauce ramen: Kikusui (excluding tax 238 yen) - Ramen Yamatogyo Asahikawa salt tonkotsu: Kikusui (excluding tax 238 yen) - Yamatogyo Honten's staff meal ramen: Fujiwara Seimen (excluding tax 158 yen) - Miso ramen from Yoshino Honten: Fujiwara Seimen (excluding tax 158 yen). I purchased them at AEON Chitose store located at 6-51 Sakae-cho, Chitose City. The location of AEON Chitose store used to be "Nichi", then changed to "Sati", "Post Full", and now it is AEON. In the supermarket noodle section of AEON Chitose store, in addition to the standard bagged noodles from various companies, there were also dried noodles from famous shops in Sapporo, Asahikawa, and Hakodate. Compared to regular dried noodles, these ones are a bit more expensive even for a single serving, so I hesitated a bit but ended up buying one of each Asahikawa series. I started by trying Tenkin's soy sauce ramen. As expected, making dried noodles is easy. The taste of Tenkin's ramen is solid and delicious. The noodles have that Asahikawa taste and are delicious. If you feel like having Asahikawa ramen in Chitose, you can easily enjoy it with dried noodles. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

During the Bon festival, we set out from the grave visit to climbing in Chitose, but ended up stopping for soft serve in Kitahiroshima and then taking the back roads all the way there. Why? Because we had something to do in Chitose. So, we thought we'd pick up Chitose on the way, but we were told "we don't have time for that" and weren't allowed to get out of the car because "if we let Keipon-san out, it will be a big problem." They even tied us to the seat. They didn't have to go that far... When we got back, my wife said, "Now you can write about this, right?" "But I've already written about both Shin Kuraya locations..." "Hmm..." Even though they pretended not to know, they had registered at Ion. I'm glad. But why did they give me Monaka? It's the one sweet I hate the most, especially with chunky or sesame filling. And they gave me sesame Monaka. I hate Monaka because of the texture of the skin, but this one has a really crispy texture. Maybe my preferences have changed? I don't dislike it as much as I thought. I can eat chunky filling, and sesame filling isn't as bad as I thought. I don't even know myself anymore.
