After work, I noticed a kitchen car that had appeared on my walking route, selling bento boxes. My wife declared that dinner was off today and handed me a thousand yen, so I decided to buy dinner from there on my way home. I purchased the "Wagyu beef rice bowl (small size, 800 yen)" which came with sweet and salty seasoned beef (80g), stir-fried bean sprouts and onions, and a half boiled egg. The beef was a bit tough, possibly due to being cold, and the portion was small, so I recommend getting the large size. Before even tasting it, I had a feeling that the "Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl (500 yen)" would probably taste better and offer better value. I'll have to try that next time! Thank you for the meal(^o^)

On a certain weekday, I visited a yellow food truck that is always parked in a parking lot along the national highway in Chuo 2-jo, Shiraishi-ku, for lunch. The parking lot is located at the back of the premises, so please check it out for the first time. They are almost always at this location at the scheduled days and times, which gives a reliable and genuine impression unlike other food trucks that seem to appear and disappear unpredictably. However, lately their usual spot has been empty, so I am a bit worried. Therefore, please understand that the following review is based on my previous experience. On this day, I decided to try the "Wagyu beef rice with hormone topping, small 80g (1200 yen)" from their menu. It seemed like they cook the order from scratch, as it took a while for the dish to be ready. When it arrived, I was impressed by the generous portion and the slightly subdued color compared to the photo. I took a bite and was pleasantly surprised by how tender the beef was. The freshly grilled meat was tender, with just the right amount of marbling, and the sauce had a subtle sweetness with a hint of citrus flavor. The hormone topping was also surprisingly tender, with minimal odor and a gentle flavor. The rice was a bit on the small side at 80g, but it was well-cooked and complemented the dish nicely. The seasoned egg and the spicy soy sauce-marinated onions or leeks added a nice kick to the meal, and the bean sprout namul was also good. Overall, I felt like I was enjoying a high-quality bento box rather than a meal from a food truck. However, considering it's from a food truck, the price point did make me wonder. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this place after eating curry at Satsu Station on April 13, 2022. It is a food truck located in the parking lot of a building along National Route 12. They seem to have a contract with the building and only secure power sources, selling directly from the kitchen truck without renovating the store. I came here to have soft serve ice cream after eating, but unfortunately, it was not available due to a machine failure. So, I decided to buy a bento instead. They only sell chicken teriyaki donburi and Wagyu beef rice. I could imagine the chicken teriyaki donburi, so I added 400 yen for hormone to the Wagyu beef rice priced at 800 yen. The Wagyu beef is red meat, and it seems like they have pressed it to make it tender, in addition to cutting off the sinew. Maybe they marinate the meat to make it tender? It's tender and delicious, but the additional 400 yen for hormone is a bit pricey. It's tasty, but I can't really recommend it. I guess I should have gone for the soft serve ice cream instead.
