"JOE" on weekdays for lunch. I happened to be nearby during lunchtime, so I decided to visit after a long time. I arrived at the restaurant a little after 11:30. If it had been a weekend or holiday, there would definitely have been a long line, but since it was a weekday and I was alone, I was able to sit at the counter without waiting. I saw a sign that said "Angry Tonkotsu (Soy Sauce) @800 yen" and decided to go for it. I added the free "Collagenibo" topping as usual and waited for my order. After a short wait, about 15 minutes, my order arrived. The rich tonkotsu soup with soy sauce flavor was irresistible from the first sip. It was so thick and coated with collagen, creating a rich and satisfying taste. The noodles were cooked al dente and delicious. The "Collagenibo" topping, with its bonito flavor and plenty of collagen, was a must-have item. The soup was piping hot and there was nothing to complain about. Just like last time, I was completely satisfied and enjoyed every bite. The service from the ladies working there was great as always, making the atmosphere very comfortable. I really love this place. Once again, thank you for the delicious meal!

Thank you for the meal! I lined up on Saturday at 11:45! I got miso ramen with green onions, chashu, and seasoned egg toppings - delicious! The miso ramen had a low outside angle and was very satisfying with Hokkaido-style noodles. I've been in Hokkaido for 2 months and noticed that ramen shops are always crowded, but I didn't expect to line up for my first ramen here. I bought a meal ticket and lined up, and the staff asked me what kind of oil I wanted, but I had no idea what they meant, haha. I was seated in 15 minutes since I was alone, and I wondered how long it would take for the couple behind me. After another 15 minutes, my ramen arrived! It took a total of 30 minutes. In Tokyo, if a place is crowded, you can always choose another one, but in Hokkaido, if you drive all the way here, you just have to line up, right? It's like they're saying, "If you don't like waiting, then don't come," haha. Also, there are still many places in Hokkaido without air conditioning, so there are a lot of flies, haha.

I had the Angry Pork Bone Soy Sauce and Chashu Don. It was crowded with a line outside, but the cheerful service from the owner made it a pleasant experience. The pork bone soup was very rich and had a thick texture, but the taste was delicious.

- Special miso ramen (ma-yu) 800 yen - Chashu rice ball 150 yen Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was full right after opening. I was overwhelmed by the menu options and the variety of free condiments. The soup was thick and rich, and the chashu was plentiful and delicious. The person next to me ordered an extra serving of noodles (100 yen).

I have never had such a rich tonkotsu ramen before, with angry pork bone salt and free toppings of back fat and garlic oil. The collagen-rich, thick soup with thin white noodles is delicious. The miso ramen is also rich and delicious, with the recommended free toppings of back fat and garlic oil by the staff. The yellow curly noodles are full of ingredients and great value. The chashu rice bowl has plenty of chashu and rice, always satisfying. I was able to enter without waiting, perhaps because it was a weekday evening.

Today, I ordered the Angry Pork Bone Ramen with soy sauce, spicy flavor, and extra thick broth (900 yen), along with the Torori Flavored Egg (120 yen) and Chashu Rice Ball (150 yen) for a total of 1,170 yen. The Angry Pork Bone Ramen with soy sauce was extra thick today, which was different from the usual. This ramen is similar to the super thick ramen at Tenkaippin, but the broth is made from pork bones instead of chicken bones. The broth's viscosity makes it disappear quickly as you slurp the straight noodles, which is very satisfying. The Chashu Rice Ball was generously filled with chashu and was a great value for its size and taste. Overall, this ramen is a rare find in Hokkaido and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

The entrance to the Sheep Hill Observatory was near the entrance, and before 6 pm on Saturday, there were already two groups of customers. By 6 pm, the restaurant was full and there were people waiting inside. Upon entering the restaurant, there is a ticket machine on the left to purchase tickets. While purchasing, water is provided at the table and you are guided by the staff. [Angry Pork Bone Soy Sauce] 900 yen [Topping - Torotama] 120 yen [Chashu Bowl] 350 yen There were only salt and soy sauce options for the Angry Pork Bone ramen. The salt flavor felt a bit light, but the soy sauce soup was delicious. The thick white soup with thin noodles was delicious. The toppings included wood ear mushrooms, green onions, menma, and chashu. The chashu was soft and to my liking. I don't usually eat rich pork bone soup ramen, so the richness of the soup became a bit overwhelming for me after a few bites. The boiled egg topping was not as creamy as expected, with the yolk being hard instead of runny. The chashu bowl was tasty with a soft and thick slice of chashu, but having both ramen and chashu bowl was a bit too much. Some people added extra noodles. My child said it might become addictive. The rich soup might make you want to eat it again. It was delicious, but the richness of the soup might be a bit too much for some. I would like to try the miso ramen next time.

I had the tonkotsu ramen with seared fish powder topping. I went around 2pm on a weekday, and it was really crowded lately. I'm not a big fan of tonkotsu noodles, but the soup was very milky and rich in pork flavor. The chashu and wood ear mushrooms were not skimped on! Thank you for the meal ♫

Furious Pork Bone Ramen with Soy Sauce (800 yen) and Extra Rich Flavored Egg LL (120 yen). Free toppings: Corn and Spicy Finish. The rich and spicy pork bone broth is intense and satisfying. The name is clever and the noble aroma of tonkotsu tickles the senses. Sometimes you just crave it. I usually go for corn as a free topping, but today I tried corn and spicy for a change. The tonkotsu flavor is so strong that the raw garlic gets a bit lost in it (laughs). I added fish powder for a flavor change when I was about 70% done, and finished it all. I used to love the soy sauce grilled tsukemen they had before. I hope it makes a comeback. Thanks for the meal.

Today I had the day off work, so I went to a ramen shop that is usually crowded and hard to get into on holidays. It's called "Jo" on the first floor of a building next to the entrance of the Sheep Hill Observatory (where Dr. Clark is). I ordered the Angry Tonkotsu Shoyu (extra thick) with toppings of chashu, creamy seasoned egg, and a mini chashu bowl for free. You can choose your favorite oil to top it off. I chose the "Collagenibo" made from chicken collagen and extracted dried sardines. The creamy and thick soup isn't too overpowering in flavor, but it's a flood of umami. The Collagenibo in the middle looks like tofu or butter. The chashu is plentiful with two types of pork belly and shoulder loin. The seasoned egg was not runny but hard-boiled, and it was huge! So delicious!!!

"Thick, Angry Pork Bone was the main attraction, no need to wait outside, 6 people waiting inside. Ordered the Thick, Angry Pork Bone Soy Sauce, and my companion ordered the Angry Pork Bone Salt. No customization of the taste oil. Tried the salt soup first, it was good with a rich pork flavor. The soy sauce version is more to my liking. The service was polite. There were a few bone fragments that bothered me a bit, but the pork flavor and collagen richness were there. A taste that can only be found here in Sapporo. The price of 800 yen is amazing. Next time, I'll try the Thick, Angry Chicken White Soup."

On my fifth visit, I tried the Angry Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen with 800 grams of toppings including Collagen (chicken collagen, garlic) and 100 grams of rice. I have only had the extra rich version so far, which is even richer than the famous blue bucket from Hakata. I cautiously mixed in the Collagen - wow, the garlic flavor! Thank you, garlic! The collagen didn't really add a slimy texture, probably because the base was already so rich. This is something new! However, I still prefer the 100% pork version. I can't finish it without rice, and the Akita Komachi rice is cooked perfectly. Maybe next time I'll try the spicy finish!

Our first stop in Sapporo was decided to be a ramen shop, and we chose this shop that was easy to get to from the airport. While the main specialty seemed to be tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen, I opted for miso ramen. My husband ordered tonkotsu shio (salt) ramen. Surprisingly, they offered a kids' ramen with half the usual amount of noodles for only 100 yen, so our daughter ordered the shio ramen. The miso ramen was delicious! The tonkotsu shio was okay, but I thought the tonkotsu shoyu (soy sauce) might have been better. The restaurant was constantly busy with customers coming in during our meal, showing its popularity.

JOE Ghost Pork Bone Extra Rich Soy Sauce with Back Fat for 800 yen. Char Siu for 200 yen. Extra Large Melty Flavored Egg for 120 yen. Isn't the ramen cheap?? ❤️ Personally, I think it's cheap ❤️❤️❤️ Located next to the entrance of Hitsuji-ga-oka Observatory, this ramen shop ❤️ Visited at 7pm on a weekday ❤️ At night, the surrounding area is dark and the shop has a quiet, cozy atmosphere ❤️ Spacious interior ❤️ Although it seems crowded, it was actually very empty ❤️ You can choose free fat toppings, with many options available ❤️ I chose back fat as there were too many choices and the taste didn't seem to vary much ❤️ My companion ordered Chicken Shoyu White Soup for 780 yen with extra corn ❤️ Char Siu for 200 yen and Extra Large Melty Flavored Egg for 120 yen ❤️ Served quickly ❤️❤️❤️ The noodles were different between pork bone and white soup ❤️ I prefer the pork bone, and my companion said we should try the pork bone next time ❤️ The flavored egg was huge and the yolk was incredibly melty ❤️ Both types of Char Siu were delicious ❤️ The pork bone and white soup were both super rich, coating the noodles and lips with a thick texture ❤️❤️❤️ Delicious ❤️ However... it was a bit bland? If the flavor was a bit stronger, it would be perfect ❤️ I once tried ordering a stronger flavor at another ramen shop and it was so salty I couldn't eat it, so I've been scared to order strong flavors since then 😂 I was in the mood for ramen that day, so I was satisfied ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It was delicious ❤️ Thank you for the meal ❤️

It's a little after 2:00 PM on Sunday and I'm happy that they are open all day! Even after lunchtime, there are still many customers waiting inside the restaurant. I hesitantly entered and the female manager at the counter told me to buy a meal ticket first. I purchased the special miso ramen for 780 yen and added a large boiled egg for 120 yen. I was then guided to a counter seat. There were many families waiting, so I was seated ahead of them. The staff asked me what free toppings I wanted, and I requested a small amount of garlic oil. In hindsight, I wish I had added more toppings like corn niblets or extra pork fat. The staff, including the female manager, were all very kind. No wonder families with children also come here. The special ramen with minced meat and bean sprouts was satisfying, but I wished there was a bit more variety. I will definitely come back to try different options and find my favorite flavor. Thank you for the delicious meal!

This time, the purpose is Collagen. I wonder what kind of ramen it goes well with. I can only think of miso. I also requested the Chashu Onigiri that I was curious about from other reviews. Collagen appeared first. I tried licking it in advance. Strong garlic smell. Next, the onigiri arrived! I want to take a photo of the ramen and the onigiri together, so I resisted eating it. The ramen arrived. I usually eat it with plenty of shichimi pepper, but today's goal is Collagen. So I tried it as it is first. It's a strong and salty miso ramen. I added Collagen. The sharp saltiness became rounder. The garlic doesn't stand out too much, and it's mellow and nice. The mistake I made was eating the onigiri after the ramen. The soup has a strong flavor, so I couldn't taste the seasoning of the onigiri. Next time, I'll eat the onigiri while waiting for the ramen. I overheard the orders of other customers, and what caught my attention was soy sauce ramen with back fat and ma-yu. Miso with spicy bean sprout topping. I wonder if burnt soy sauce would be good, with Collagen topping. This restaurant is always enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

The taste is great, the hospitality is great, and I am full. The Angry Pork Bone ramen in the photo is incredibly rich and creamy, like a potage soup. I didn't order it this time, but they offer a variety of free toppings. The Chashu rice ball is cheaper, bigger, and tastier than convenience store ones. What surprised me the most was the kids' ramen. We all couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!" when it arrived. Instead of a smaller portion for kids, they served a regular adult-sized bowl with toppings, all for just 100 yen in this era of rising prices. Their service spirit won me over instantly. We were the first customers that day, but it's no wonder more customers came in. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely be back!

Ramen shop located at the foot of the Sheep Hill Observatory in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo City. I have been a regular customer since the owner used to run a noodle shop in Fushimi. This time, I had the special thick tonkotsu shoyu ramen with a spicy finish and collagen topping. The thick tonkotsu broth can get a bit heavy towards the end, but adding spice makes it easy to eat all the way through, and the collagen and garlic in the topping enhance the flavor. I particularly like the thin straight noodles with the tonkotsu broth, making it my favorite combination of menu items and free toppings I've tried here. Thank you for the delicious meal!

2022♡♡63rd bowl on 8/21 at 1:30 pm I had the special miso ramen and gyoza. Even though it was past lunchtime, there was still a line. I had been wanting to try this place after reading the reviews, and I finally made it. Even though it was past 1 pm, there was still a line. I bought a ticket from the vending machine and waited for a while. Maybe because it was a Sunday, there were many families with kids. It seems like kids get candy on their way out, which is nice. Most people were with their families, partners, or friends, so the turnover was slow. It's understandable to have to wait. What surprised me was the many free toppings available. I chose the spicy and fatty ones, but is it okay to have two of them? (laughs) It was delicious. The gyoza was big and tasty. The only thing that caught my attention was that the kitchen was a bit dirty. Maybe they were busy, but the taste was excellent. The souvenir chashu was also delicious. Thank you for the meal. *(^o^)/*

On a certain weekday, when the planned restaurant didn't open as expected, I decided to have lunch nearby at a popular ramen shop that I hadn't visited in a while. Upon arriving, I saw that the shop was already crowded with fans eagerly waiting for it to open, which showed how popular it was. I ordered the "Angry Pork Bone Salt Ramen (800 yen)" from the ticket machine, as it was advertised as being made with a rich and intense flavor. I handed the ticket to the staff and patiently waited for my order. When the ramen was finally ready after about 20 minutes, I took a bite and was surprised by how rich it tasted. The noodles were soft and slightly curly, providing a unique texture. The soup was thick and cloudy, reminiscent of a dish I had at another famous ramen shop. It had a strong flavor that made me wonder how long it had been simmered for. The toppings included green onions, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and tender slices of char siu pork. As I enjoyed my meal, I realized that I made the right choice by not adding extra oil this time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I heard that the food was delicious and the service was great, so my girlfriend and I decided to give it another try at this restaurant, which was always crowded. We were finally able to get a table this time, as there was only one car in the parking lot. We ordered the Chicken Shoyu Ramen (780 yen) and Mini Chashu Don (380 yen) for my girlfriend, and the Bonito Shoyu Ramen (780 yen) and Chashu Onigiri (150 yen) for myself. The staff recommended adding Collagen Jelly (made from chicken collagen and dried sardines) to the Chicken Shoyu Ramen, so we tried that as well. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with Disney illustrations, Fighters and Sapporo professional baseball team photos, and uniforms displayed on the walls. The strong sunlight coming in through the windows made us sweat a bit, despite the air conditioning being on full blast. We started with the Mini Chashu Don and Chashu Onigiri, both of which were delicious and filling. The Chashu Onigiri was generously stuffed with chashu pork, and the rice was cooked in soy sauce and chicken broth with a hint of lemon flavor. The Chashu in the Mini Chashu Don was tender and flavorful, making it a satisfying dish. We also decided to buy some homemade chashu to take home. Finally, our ramen arrived, and the aroma of bonito broth filled the air. The soup was clear and flavorful, with a strong bonito taste that was surprisingly refreshing. The noodles had a unique texture, firm on the outside but chewy on the inside, and they held up well to the rich broth. The ramen toppings included chashu pork, menma bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, and green onions, with two types of chashu (belly and loin) to enjoy. The belly chashu was fatty and sweet, while the loin chashu had a ham-like texture and rich flavor. We also tried some of my girlfriend's Chicken Shoyu Ramen, which had a creamy white broth that was rich and flavorful without any unpleasant odor. Adding the Collagen Jelly enhanced the richness and umami of the soup. Overall, the food was incredibly delicious, and we can see why it's so popular.
