I was informed by a friend that a sushi restaurant had opened in a not-so-prominent location, so I decided to visit for lunch on a weekday off. Indeed, the restaurant was tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It seemed like they had just opened, with beautiful flowers decorating the place. I ordered a seafood bowl for lunch, which was delicious with white fish, salmon, and scallops. Even the soft serve ice cream for dessert was tasty. I heard they also serve alcohol in the evenings. The prices are very reasonable for sushi.

The basic sushi at Sushidokoro Ami Ebi Higashiten consists of sweet shrimp from Masumae, button shrimp from Rausu, bluefin tuna from Katsura, scallop from Honmasu, king crab from Monbetsu, snow crab from Zuwai, surf clam from Atsuta, and surf clam from Houtou. The menu changes daily, with items like tuna, scallop, king crab, flounder, scallop, sweet shrimp, snow crab, and more. The sweet shrimp and button shrimp were fresh and delicious, with a nice texture. The scallop was plump and sweet, while the king crab had a lingering flavor. However, the flounder could have been firmer, and the salmon roe and salmon were not to everyone's taste. The sea urchin was decent quality, and the sea urchin was tasty. The soft serve ice cream served at the end was a nice touch, with flavors like vanilla and chocolate. Overall, the sushi was good, but there were some areas that could be improved, such as the rice texture and seaweed preparation. The service was a bit slow, but the staff were friendly. Overall, Sushidokoro Ami Ebi Higashiten is a good place for high-quality sushi in Susukino.

The sushi was delicious! They use locally sourced ingredients for the toppings and the chef seems to be sleep-deprived every day, haha!
