Probably run by a lady named Akko, it's a one-person operation. There are 4 seats at the counter. There are also two low tables where about 3 people can sit, but the store is about 8 tatami mats in size, so it can get cramped if it's crowded. The obanzai dishes are displayed on the counter. They all look delicious. I ordered the sashimi set. The sashimi mainly consists of squid sashimi, tuna, and salmon. You can choose 2 out of 3 obanzai dishes. I chose tempura and fish-filled stir-fry. Akko will plate them for you. It comes with rice and miso soup. You can have seconds of rice. All this for only 800 yen including tax! That's ridiculously cheap, Akko. The price difference with the soba I had yesterday at another restaurant for 850 yen is huge. This is why I can't stop exploring different places to eat. When I told Akko that it was delicious, she mentioned that they also serve breakfast. I will definitely go there. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the sashimi set lunch (800 yen) for a regular lunch. In addition to the sashimi, you can choose two side dishes, so I chose daikon with minced meat sauce and stir-fried pork with paprika. The sashimi came with purple daikon, making it look colorful. The diced tuna, yellowtail, and squid sashimi were all delicious. The rice was mixed grain rice. Overall, it was a generous portion for the price of 800 yen. I would like to come back again, maybe for a drink set in the afternoon.

The cozy restaurant has a counter with 4 seats and a small raised area. By 1:30 PM on weekdays, regular customers are already starting to get a little tipsy. While the set meals are appealing, I'm more in the mood for drinks than food (*-ω-) Yeah. I ordered the "Evening Set" - 2 drinks and 3 side dishes for 1500 yen. You can order it anytime! I started with a strong Umeshu Highball. The variety of 6 small dishes was a delight, including simmered squid, bean sprout namul, sautéed green beans and konjac, bacon and spinach pasta, sweet and spicy chicken stir-fry, and a vegetable salad. The flavors were perfect for both the alcohol and the rice, very delicious and homey. It's healthy too, with plenty of vegetables and no fried foods. I went to "Obanzai Akko" this day. The reason I came to this restaurant is because you can drink from noon! There is no other reason. I arrived after lunch time, around 2 pm, and there was one customer before me and two customers after me. I sat at the counter and ordered the "drinking set" right away. Of course, I ordered a draft beer! The owner said that even though it was a weekday, "unexpectedly a lot of customers came" (laughs), so some of the obanzai dishes were sold out. I received three obanzai dishes with the beer. The beer brand was Sapporo Beer. The obanzai dishes were pumpkin and tomato cheese bake, spinach ohitashi, and mochi pouch. The cheese bake was delicious. I was thinking of leaving after the drinking set, but the waitress said she was going to make some fried chicken, so I chatted with the regular customer next to me while waiting, and the fried chicken arrived. It was delicious. The beer went down smoothly! I ended up staying for quite a while, and as I was leaving, they even gave me a souvenir.

I have been there for lunch and dinner several times, but on this day, I bought a 500 yen bento. Considering the price, the quality is quite good. There are some concerns about hygiene, but overall it is a good restaurant.

The parking lot is located behind Mizuho Bank next door, with space for 2 cars. There was a menu board in front of the shop. Today's highlight was the live squid sashimi set meal for 700 yen. Upon entering at opening time, there was one other customer at the counter. The small shop has 4 counter seats and 2 small raised tables. It seems to be a busy shop that quickly fills up at lunchtime. In addition to the sashimi, you can choose 2 items from the 5 side dishes lined up on the counter. Along with the squid sashimi, we also enjoyed the fresh tsubo sashimi, chosen fish sausage fry, dried radish, salad, and moro kyuu served on separate plates. It was a very satisfying set meal with fresh sashimi at this price. At this time of year, the squid is still small, so maybe you can enjoy larger squid soon. The set meals with 3 obanzai dishes are only 500 yen. It is a popular restaurant with great cost performance. I want to eat squid again! It would be great if they could offer a large portion of squid sashimi!
