Walnut milk and cold-pressed juice were the main attractions, but unfortunately they were not available at the moment. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I asked for two red sweet potatoes and received them as a small gesture of service since the juice was not being sold. The red sweet potatoes were incredibly moist and sweet, unlike any I had bought from the supermarket before. Even my family member, who is a sweet potato enthusiast, was impressed by the quality. I also purchased some soft kelp, which was from a well-established brand called Kobayashi Shokuhin and was incredibly tender and delicious. Despite the presence of some expensive items, I felt that the store offered reasonably priced products of high quality. I look forward to revisiting in the spring to try the cold-pressed juice. On the way back from Tsuru Cafe, I came across a cute shop called "Olive Oil Shop". The blackboard outside had various vegetables written as "Today's recommendations"! Additionally, it mentioned that tofu, fried items, kimchi, and okara have arrived. Wait, isn't this supposed to be an olive oil shop? I was confused but decided to peek inside through the glass. They had tofu! I entered the shop and found out that tofu products are delivered on Mondays and Fridays. I tried the "Dosanko Kinu" tofu (190 yen) and it was delicious, with a perfect balance of firmness and smoothness. The tofu is from a supplier called "Ishida Shokuhin" and they even supply to hotels. I also tried the okara (100 yen) which was versatile and tasty. I had visited another tofu shop before but they were sold out, so I was lucky to find this delicious tofu. Although it was a bit pricey, I was satisfied with the quality. The shop usually closes at 6 pm, but on that day, they stayed open longer for regular customers. It was a fortunate encounter with this shop, and I will definitely visit again during my next trip to Tsuru Cafe. They also offer fresh juices, so I'm looking forward to exploring more on my next visit!

When you enter, you'll see fruits lined up on the left, including tempting cherries like Sato Nishiki, which cost 1,500 yen per pack. Moving further back, you'll find a selection of olive oils that are not just "expensive" but rather "pricey." The higher the price, the more refined the taste, but there is a limit. Tom has already decided what he wants to buy. The shop has a unique counter with samples for tasting, and the lady serving has a robust and distinctive appearance. There are tables and counters for dining in, depending on whether you're purchasing oil or juice. Today's cold-pressed juice includes organic carrots, dark purple carrots, Aomori apple, crown grapefruit, lemon with no additives, and organic daikon. The juice has a strong sweetness from the fruits, with a hint of vegetable flavor and color. It's not very cold, more like lukewarm, and they provide ice that doesn't melt easily. From smoked soy sauce to noodles, rice, and more, this whimsical oil shop will make you forget what kind of store it really is.
