April 2022. Day 2 in Sapporo. On this day, I stayed at the "Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo". I heard that they offer a recommended original breakfast buffet using Hokkaido ingredients, so I chose to stay here. The room was a Superior Double with breakfast included, and it cost around 8,000 yen per night. The room was spacious and comfortable with great facilities. There is also a large public bath and a fitness room available. I indulged in parfait and sushi that night before returning to the hotel to sleep. The next morning, I went to "Kadomaru Mochiten" early to buy strawberry daifuku, then returned to the hotel for breakfast. The breakfast buffet that day included: - Tokachi specialty pork bowl - Hokkaido specialty Zangi (fried chicken) - Thick-ribbed cod dish from Akkeshi - Grilled salted salmon - Homemade tofu made from Hokkaido soybeans - Raclette cheese with Hokkaido vegetables - Akkeshi fish soup - Bread with red bean paste made with rich milk and silo - Hokkaido vegetable salad - Brand rice from Ishikawa Farm in Akai River Village, "Yukisayaka" and "Yumepirika" - Soup curry Desserts included: - Tokachi Raclette Mole Wash Cheese Cake - Fruit tart - Ranch roll made with Hokkaido milk - Gateau Chocolat - Veggie sweets (onion, carrot) It was a satisfying breakfast lineup where you could enjoy the blessings of Hokkaido. Thank you for the wonderful meal! The hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station North Exit, and I had a comfortable stay. It was a short stay, but thank you very much!

The stylish atmosphere and delicious food really lift your spirits! While the variety of dishes isn't extensive, the quality is high enough to make you want to come back for more. You can enjoy Hokkaido specialties like chilled asparagus soup, melon juice, and corn rice. The sweet and savory flavor of the pork bowl makes it easy to keep eating! The dessert menu is plentiful and of great quality. The pudding roll cake and souffle cheesecake are a must-try! I ended up coming back for more. The wooden bowls and stylish plates were also lovely. They have nest honey, which allows you to savor rich honey. It was enjoyable to drizzle it over yogurt or make honey lattes.

The breakfast at the hotel was very satisfying! Everything was delicious and stylish. I was especially happy to see a live kitchen in a hotel of this size... Also, the staff were friendly and kind. It was more like experiencing the everyday life of Hokkaido in a more noble way rather than a luxurious breakfast at a luxury hotel! I heard they also accept outside guests, so be sure to check it out! (But I heard there is a limited number of guests they can accommodate) I felt that choosing this hotel for this breakfast is a good idea!! If you go to Sapporo, it's a definite repeat!

The new hotel is beautiful and well-located, I am satisfied with everything. The public bath is also nice to have. The staff at the front desk and breakfast are great. The breakfast was good, not too many options but each dish was delicious. The chef's live cooking added a touch of luxury. The highlight was the raclette cheese, duck roast, and Genghis Khan dish. The curry, clam chowder, and crab rice were also tasty. The dessert selection included pudding, French toast, and various pastries. Overall, I was satisfied with the food and service.

This is a new and beautiful hotel. The laundry service costs 500 yen and includes drying, which is convenient. Breakfast is now served as a set meal due to COVID-19 precautions, and it was decently satisfying. For breakfast, you can choose crab rice. For dessert, you can choose between pudding or roll cake. You can enjoy coffee in the lounge on the first floor.

During my trip to Hokkaido, I stayed at this hotel. It was clean and well-equipped with amenities, including a large public bath. I want to highlight the buffet they offered, which featured various Hokkaido specialties like Zangi and Genghis Khan. The food was delicious, especially the butter rice and the pork on the Obihiro pork bowl. The butter rice had a subtle, creamy flavor while the pork was tender with a nice charred taste. They also made omelettes and served pancakes with ice cream, making it a satisfying dining experience without needing to go elsewhere.

I visited on a business trip. I used the accommodation and breakfast. Normally it seems to be a buffet style, but you can choose a plate (with bread), dessert, and coffee are buffet style. It was a very good hotel.

The second dish was butter-grilled asparagus served while ringing a bell, which was a fun touch. The honey dripping from the nest in the third photo was also visually appealing. Although I missed capturing it, they also served grilled vegetables with cheese and grilled scallops in an open kitchen style. The presentation of the asparagus, honey, and open kitchen was understated, which was a shame. It would have been nice to see more Hokkaido-inspired dishes like corn or marinated herring.

I will post the breakfast buffet review for hotel accommodation "KEIO PRELIA HOTEL SAPPORO" as of June 16, 2022. The rating is 3.37. When I went to the buffet area, the first thing that caught my eye was the various desserts. Of course, I tried all the types available, and it was great to be able to enjoy a little of everything at a hotel buffet! I used a local discount such as "Hokkaido Resident Discount" or "Sapporo Resident Discount" (I forgot the exact name...), so with an accommodation fee of around 2,000 to 3,000 yen, I received a 2,000 yen coupon, making the hotel breakfast buffet practically free. It's a grateful system. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely visit KEIO PRELIA HOTEL SAPPORO again!

I used it for breakfast. It seems that the prices will increase from April. I was surprised and happy to have dessert in the morning. There are also menu items that bring out the Hokkaido essence. I thought the paella was a daily special, but it was corn rice for two days in a row, which was very delicious. The sweetness of the corn and the butter are a great combination. The homemade tofu, sea urchin soy sauce, and two types of soup were slightly sweet. The raclette with cheese on the three-color potatoes, as well as other elaborate dishes, were delicious every day.

I used the Hokkaido resident discount to stay at this hotel. I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet. The buffet area was a bit small and crowded, making it difficult to navigate. The salad bar was quite impressive, which was nice. However, because of the limited space, some desserts were mixed with savory dishes, causing confusion. There were no fruits, but having cakes was a nice touch. The main dishes were typical, but there were also some local Hokkaido options available. They offered a variety of soups, rice dishes, and bread, making it enjoyable. It was nice to have a daily special dish as well. Overall, for a business hotel, the menu was quite good! The room was ordinary, but the amenities were great. The spacious public bath was very relaxing. I highly recommend it.
