What is this place? It is located around the corner of Route 5 towards Otaru and Tsukubun Street. The name of the restaurant is Studio Yuu! It started as a rental space, but was cancelled due to the influence of the coronavirus. Originally, it was a okonomiyaki restaurant, so they seem to want to focus on teppanyaki dishes now. They have takeout options for yakitori and fried foods from 3:00 PM, and a casual drinking spot from 5:00 PM. They close at 8:00 PM. I took home some chicken skewers and pork skewers. The green onions on the chicken skewers are nicely charred, but the pork is a bit tough, maybe it was frozen? The fried foods were delicious, especially the scallops, salmon belly, and white fish. Maybe it was hokke? That's unlikely (laughs). It's a great place for a barbecue party with a large group or for watching sports.
