"Facing the northern sky, where snow is about to fall, I think of the days gone by over lunch. Thoughts of meals that will never return pass through my mind. At least today, I'll go out to eat alone. There were only two taiyaki left, so I bought both. I requested one for takeaway and one to eat in the store, along with a cup of Pu'er tea. I was directed to a shop on the left, where they served me a piping hot taiyaki filled with plenty of sweet red bean paste. Although I considered only eating half due to the generous amount of filling, I decided to enjoy it with the Pu'er tea until I was full. The heavy red bean paste in my stomach made me feel satisfied. The spacious and luxurious leather sofa seats in the cozy atmosphere of the store allowed me to savor the taiyaki leisurely. I had never eaten taiyaki in such a gorgeous setting before, and it made me feel fantastic. After this taiyaki feast, I felt like I had stocked up on taiyaki for several months and ended up not eating the other one at home. Welcome! Located in Nishi-ku, along the Teine Sagari-dori in the Fukui area, with Toko Store as a landmark. Next to the store, there is a cafe and Coco, so it's a great place to stop by while shopping. When you open the door with a "clang clang" sound, the lady comes flying over with a customer call. In front of you, there is a taiyaki ready, but they make fried food freshly, so it's best to shop while waiting. The 9th of every month is a good deal, known as Toko Day. Despite being ready in about 10 minutes, I ended up leisurely shopping, which I apologize for. The lady with a lovely smile was great, but I'm not sure if she was from the cafe. The environment is a bit crowded, so I decided to eat the Tom Yum soup. The fried dumplings are 4 for 100 yen. The skin is crispy, but the filling lacks juiciness, which is understandable. Whether they are fried or grilled, personal preference plays a big role. I love Tom Yum, so I'm fine with either. The takoyaki is 6 for 350 yen, with a mayo and seaweed topping. It's like a home-use takoyaki machine, with a size that's not too big. The moisture in the dough evaporates, making it not too gooey but chewy, with a reasonable amount of octopus inside. I like the simple taste of homemade food. I prefer fried food over grilled, so please make fried taiyaki as well. Thank you, it was delicious.

Kitemitara is a nonprofit organization that supports sports and community activities for people with disabilities. They operate a facility with a shop called Kitemitara iihi, which offers takeout items like takoyaki and taiyaki. I visited the shop around 3 pm on a weekday in Sapporo's Nishi Ward, along Teine-samata Street. I ordered 10 pieces of takoyaki, which took about 10 minutes to prepare. Unfortunately, taiyaki was sold out for the day, but I was able to buy two frozen ones with just the filling. While waiting, I was guided to a neighboring shop and treated to delicious Chinese tea. After a 20-minute wait, the freshly fried takoyaki was ready. It was piping hot with a crispy exterior and a gooey, hot interior, so be careful not to burn your mouth. It was topped with sauce, mayonnaise, and seaweed, priced at 50 yen each, with one free for every 10 purchased. The taiyaki, which I reheated, had a generous amount of filling with a balanced sweetness and a crispy skin. It was priced at 100 yen each, but I received a discount for buying frozen ones. The takoyaki was delicious and perfect for enjoying with beer in the summer or warming up in the winter. The wait was made pleasant by the tasty Chinese tea. I look forward to trying their fried dumplings and takoyaki next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.
