In August and September, on Fridays to Mondays, the luxurious train THE ROYAL EXPRESS runs through Hokkaido. A 3-night, 4-day train journey for two people starts at a minimum of 820,000 yen per person. If you don't have the courage to apply for this dreamy luxury train experience, you can still enjoy the exterior by purchasing an admission ticket for 200 yen. The train departs from Sapporo Station at 11:02 on platform 9. After giving the train a full enthusiastic wave goodbye, to cool off from the excitement and the heat, head to Stella Place on the 6th floor. Feeling like having bibimbap, visit on a Friday at 11:15. Some customers are already there, but by the time you leave, there are empty seats available. Time to cool down the hot body! A glass of draft beer (medium) costs 580 yen. Ahh, refreshing. The cold Sapporo Classic in a frosty mug. From the recommended set menu, try the Sijang Stone Pot Bibimbap with a mini cold noodle set for 1340 yen. The sizzling stone pot arrives with rice topped with spinach, namul, ground meat, seaweed, kimchi, gochujang, and a separate raw egg. Mix it all together. Ouch, a bit spicy but no gochujang on the table. The cold noodles come with cucumber, watercress, raw ham, kimchi, bean sprout namul, and apple. A refreshing cold soup. Perfect for summer. Slurp. The menu even lists the calorie count. 891 kcal. Time to exercise. Stayed for 45 minutes. Total payment: 1920 yen.

I ordered the bulgogi and naengmyeon set. The bulgogi was quite burnt and not very tasty. The naengmyeon also didn't suit my taste. It lacked flavor. I usually only eat naengmyeon at a specific restaurant, so maybe I'm just used to that. The atmosphere is welcoming for solo diners, which is nice. The prices are not particularly cheap, so I don't plan on returning for now.

It was easy to enter the restaurant located on the same floor, and I felt comfortable dining alone. The counter seats were spacious, allowing me to relax. They offer a variety of set menus, making it a great choice when you can't decide between Bibimbap and Naengmyeon. The Naengmyeon was delicious!

I arrived for a late lunch around 2 pm. The restaurant was busy with female customers, but I didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered a set menu that seemed to be a limited-time offer, which included grilled beef and plenty of vegetable cold noodles. The cold noodles in the photo came with a mini bibimbap bowl. Oh boy, it was even more delicious than I imagined. The yuzu soda was also great with lots of pulp.

This was my first time visiting a Korean restaurant. I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I ordered the menu item with cheese. It was delicious and not too spicy! I'm curious about trying the Bibimbap and cold noodles next time if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

It was around 1:00 pm, but there were about 8 people waiting in line! I waited for about 10 minutes and was able to get a seat. I ordered the Bulgogi Stone Bibimbap with cheese topping for 1,210 yen. When looking at the menu, the Cheese Tteokbokki also looked delicious!

This is a Korean restaurant opening in Sapporo Stellar Place. I stopped by with my colleagues after finishing work on a holiday. The restaurant was filled with female customers enjoying their meals and conversations. The place was clean and had bright lighting. I ordered a set of cold noodles and a small bibimbap. The taste was not very impressive, and the price was on the higher side, over 1300 yen before tax. The cost performance was not great. Being in a prime location like Stellar Place, it might be expected that the cost performance is not the best.

Located within the Stella Place, this Korean restaurant offers dishes that are quite approachable for Japanese diners. We shared the chijimi between two people, and it was chewy and had a firm texture, making it delicious. Sometimes chijimi can be greasy and crispy, but this one had just the right texture for Japanese taste. The bibimbap was not too spicy and very tasty. I have also tried authentic bibimbap before, which had a homemade feel and came with a generous amount of side dishes, giving a sense of value and satisfaction. Also, authentic bibimbap is surprisingly not very spicy, just slightly spicy. The kimchi as well. A must-have for bibimbap is the egg! The chijimi was surprisingly delicious, so I highly recommend ordering it. Thank you for the meal!

Here is Sijan! Is it like a market-themed restaurant name? Light Korean dishes at reasonable prices! I have never seen such a presentation like stone pot bibimbap with jjajangmyeon! Innovative! Wonderful new dishes have been born!

Saturday lunch. Around 12 o'clock. The restaurant I was aiming for was very crowded, so I decided to try this restaurant where there was no line. It's a Korean restaurant. There were many lunch sets, but I wasn't confident in eating two carb dishes, so we ordered individual items. I had the Shijan Original Kuppa, and my mother had the shrimp and mentaiko stone pot bibimbap. It arrived in just over 10 minutes. The Kuppa had a relatively gentle bonito broth flavor. It seemed easy to eat even for someone with a cold! With kimchi, raw egg, and Korean seaweed, I enjoyed it while changing the flavor until the end. There was more meat in it than I expected, and the cabbage was sweet, so it was much tastier than I imagined! My mother's bibimbap also had a lot of mentaiko in it, and the flavor was quite strong. For a restaurant in a department store, this was also a pretty high level, right? Both dishes felt like Korean food that Japanese people can easily enjoy, and compared to other stores on the same floor, it was less crowded and became a highly recommended restaurant. Next time, I think I'll try the cold noodles!

Stella Place. I went for dinner at a slightly early and awkward time, but it was quite crowded. The sesame leaf jeon I tried for the first time was delicious with a great aroma. If I find sesame leaves at the supermarket, I definitely want to try making it at home.

I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about at around 3 pm on a weekday. The interior of the restaurant had a few young female customers. I ordered the Sundubu Jjigae hot pot set meal and Hotteok (Honey & Whip). The Sundubu was served piping hot with cabbage and onions, giving it a rich stew flavor. The soup had a complex delicious taste when sipped. The bean sprout namul and kimchi that came with the set were refreshing and tasty! The dessert Hotteok tasted homemade with a hint of cinnamon. It was chewy and very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I came to the Korean restaurant Shijan in Stella Place near Sapporo Station for dinner. There was one customer before me and 9 customers in 5 groups after me. The place itself was not very crowded, but it was decently busy. About 80% of the customers were women, mostly young people. When more customers arrived, the presence of some older men seemed a bit out of place, haha. I ordered the Beef Intestine Stew Set for 1,210 yen including tax. The stew arrived bubbling hot and it had a sour soup base with a mild spiciness that made me sweat a bit. The spiciness was not too strong, maybe because I haven't had spicy food in a while. The soup was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it. However, the main dish, the beef intestine, was a bit tough to chew. It felt more like pork intestines to me. So, as usual, I turned the beef intestines into a drink to enjoy. Wrapping the rice in Korean seaweed and eating it was delicious, and I ended the meal by adding some rice to the soup and finishing it all in one go. There were plenty of vegetables to eat, and Korean food is a nice change once in a while. It was a great meal.

One day, I was invited to lunch. We wanted something refreshing, so we decided to have cold noodles. As far as I know, there are only a few places in Sapporo Station where you can eat cold noodles, such as a Korean restaurant in Esta, a Sundubu restaurant in Paseo, and this place. By chance, we passed by this restaurant on our way to Muji and it looked delicious, so we decided to go in. I chose the lunch set which included Cheese Dakgalbi Bibimbap and half portion of cold noodles. The Bibimbap was hot and had a decent amount of spiciness, probably because it came with three chili peppers on the menu. The noodles in the cold noodles dish didn't have a very Korean taste, more like a mix of Morioka and Korean style. As a fan of cold noodles, especially Morioka-style, I thought it was okay. The soup also had a decent flavor. Overall, it's a good deal to have a reasonably priced lunch at Stella.

When you feel like eating Korean food, it just suddenly hits you, right? I think most girls feel the same way, haha. That's how I felt after finishing my hammock yoga session. It's been about 5 years since I last visited this place, and it's my second time here. I like trendy things. I ordered: - Chijimi (about 1000 yen) - Bibim noodles (about 1000 yen) - Sundubu - Rice I always try to balance out the exercise with what I eat, haha. This time I went for the Bibim noodles, and I finally realized something about myself - I'm not a fan of cold noodles, haha. I kind of had a feeling before, but I never really had a full serving until now. The taste here is good, though. It's tailored more towards Japanese tastes - a bit on the sweeter side with a decent level of spiciness. The spiciness kicks in but it's just right. I just wish they would switch the places of the kimchi and spicy miso. The spicy miso is a bit too salty for my liking... I wish they would serve it in a smaller dish. I was thinking how great it would be if it was Bibimbap instead as I ate. The portion was surprisingly big! The Chijimi had a home-cooked feel to it, haha. It was quite large, so it would have been good for sharing as a half portion. It was an easy-to-eat Korean dish, even though it may not satisfy those looking for an authentic taste. The place seems to be popular among girls and couples, haha. Personally, I prefer more authentic Korean food, but the portion size was good and it's not bad at all! I think it's a Korean restaurant that would appeal to many people, and I actually prefer it over ESTA. That's my take, anyway. Thanks for the meal!

I used it on my way back from the movie. There are few options for cold noodles as a single item menu, and there are more options for sets. The set seems like a better deal, but it comes with a mini bibimbap, and I wasn't confident that I could finish it, so I ordered the cold noodles as a single item. The noodles are thin and not very chewy, but they are easy to eat. The soup has a strong acidity, and it felt quite sour even without adding vinegar. It had a refreshing taste that is perfect for summer.

It was a hot day, but I decided to go with the set of Kimchi stew and stone bibimbap. I was considering the cold noodles set, but I think I made the right choice. It had a lot of flavor and the portion was just right for a woman.
