A nearby izakaya. Due to the declaration of a state of emergency for COVID-19, they have temporarily switched to lunchtime hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with no evening service. I arrived at 12 pm on Saturday to find 2 customers already seated and 3 more came in after me. They are not serving alcohol, but everyone except me seemed to be having a good time. I felt a bit out of place. The grilled fish set meal was delicious and reasonably priced, but the smoke from the grill was a bit overwhelming, so I had to leave early. The meatball soup was especially tasty. And they served plenty of vegetable side dishes. Thank you for the meal.
