It may be considered unconventional by people from Osaka, but the outside crispy takoyaki at Tsukiji Gindaco is really delicious. I used to try to replicate it at home by practicing with oil and flour. When making ramen or bread, using a blend of wheat flour can enhance the flavor. It may be difficult to make due to multiple failed attempts. I ordered 8 takoyaki balls for 590 yen. It's best to eat them fresh or ask for freshly fried ones when ordering. They are hot and crispy on the outside, and soft and gooey on the inside, very delicious. However, the price for takoyaki is a bit high. Thank you for the meal!

Hmm... I don't have any new material. Let's dig up some old photos. Found a picture of Tsukiji Gindaco... When was this taken? The timestamp is "2021.01.03"... New Year's Day. It's me and my wife at Motomachi Aeon, walking around and getting tired, so we sit down at the food court. We get some coffee at "Kaficha-kan"... My wife prefers takoyaki. We bought "Negi-dako @630" at Tsukiji Gindaco, topped with plenty of green onions and eaten with grated radish and tempura dipping sauce. It's light and easy to eat. Sorry for the brief impression, but honestly, I'm not a fan of Gindaco. I think takoyaki should be grilled, not "deep-fried takoyaki." Some people might like it, but I prefer takoyaki to be fluffy and soft with a firm octopus. Thank you for the meal.

I suddenly felt like eating takoyaki, so I came here and decided to eat at the shop in the food court. The shop had just opened 15 minutes ago and was making a small amount of takoyaki. I ordered at the counter because I prefer freshly made takoyaki over pre-made ones. The woman working alone at the shop took my order with a mechanical explanation and told me it would take 20 minutes to make. I was fine with the wait as I wanted to eat freshly made takoyaki. I was called up 15 minutes later, just in time. I received the takoyaki and ate it on the spot. The first bite left me feeling like, "Is this it?" The outer crispy texture and the gooey inside were lacking. It wasn't as good as I remembered takoyaki to be. The surface was not as crispy and the inside not as gooey as I expected. It felt like it was cooked on low heat. There was a sense of disappointment in the taste. It made me wonder if it was just following a manual or if I was being too critical.

When it gets hot, the symptoms of the designated rare disease worsen, especially in November when heating in hospitals and commercial facilities causes discomfort. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits me yet. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you for your understanding. [December 2019] Second review: After a few years, I visited the "Aeon Sapporo Motomachi Shopping Center". Many shops in the specialty store area and food court have changed since my last visit. I noticed a familiar shop, "Tsukiji Gindako", which was celebrating its achievement of 500 stores nationwide with a "Thanksgiving Festival" from December 4th to 6th. They offered a simple "octopus balls 8 pieces" at a 27% discount, costing 421 yen including tax. The octopus balls were hot and juicy, with a slightly larger piece of octopus inside. It was a good deal, and I regretted not getting it earlier. The shop was not crowded around 11 am but had a long line by 12:30 pm. I enjoyed the octopus balls with beer later in the evening. In Sapporo, the culture of flour-based foods is not as strong as in Kansai, so shops like "Tsukiji Gindako" are becoming rare. I hope they continue to thrive.

I didn't have any plans to eat anything in particular, but when I passed by, I felt like it was calling out to me (;^ω^) Even though I wasn't very hungry, I decided to try the "octopus balls with shiso, grated radish, and ponzu sauce" because it seemed light and refreshing! The octopus balls had a crispy exterior, topped with plenty of green onions, and served with shiso, grated radish, and ponzu sauce. It was indeed refreshing, and the grated radish helped prevent my tongue from getting burned, which was perfect for me as I have a sensitive tongue. While I usually enjoy the regular octopus balls, this variation was also really good. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased it on my way back. While hoping for the original Gindaco style, the taste and other aspects are different. However, it may not have changed much from before. The surface is not crispy, and the inside doesn't seem to be cooked thoroughly? The octopus also seems to be smaller. The Gindaco in the station is crispy and fluffy~ Please return to the original Gindaco style!

Lunch visit with family. Located in the food court of Aeon Motomachi store. Ordered yakisoba. Takes a bit of time to make after ordering. Contains bean sprouts, cabbage, and pork. It was delicious.

Sometimes it's delicious to try something different. Putting green onions soaked in sauce inside takoyaki by poking a hole in it is very tasty.

Long time no see. The warehouse curry was a bit unsatisfying, so I had a snack. When Gin Dako first started appearing, you could see them making it through the glass while waiting in line. They would sprinkle oil on top at the end and fry it, right? That's why it was crispy and delicious. However, the Gin Dako I had after a long time had no crispiness at all. Why?? And was the inside always so runny? I really wanted to eat crispy takoyaki after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

Located inside the Aeon shopping mall in Higashi Ward, Sapporo, is the Gindaco takoyaki shop. I visited the "Tsukiji Gindaco Aeon Sapporo Motomachi Store" after shopping for groceries. Even though I had bought food to cook for dinner, I felt too tired to prepare it, so I decided to buy takoyaki from Gindaco while waiting. I also went to KFC to buy some potato wedges while waiting for my takoyaki.
I ordered the regular takoyaki (8 pieces) for 550 yen, without mayonnaise. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The bonito flakes that come with Gindaco's takoyaki have a rich flavor and aroma, which enhances the overall taste. The octopus was tender and the classic flavor of the takoyaki was satisfying. Even when I brought it home, it was still slightly warm and delicious.
If I had to nitpick, I wish it was a bit cheaper. I would be really happy if it was 500 yen including tax! But I will definitely visit again.

In July 2014, Sapporo seems to have a decrease in places serving popular flour-based dishes like "okonomiyaki" and "takoyaki." One notable exception is the "Tsukiji Gindaco" chain, which can be found in large supermarkets. I visited the branch in Ion Sapporo Motomachi after lunch. The store is located in the Ion Sapporo Motomachi Shopping Center on the first floor. They mainly sell takoyaki, but recently they have added new items like "taiyaki" and "yakisoba." I decided to try their new "ume oroshi" takoyaki, which was decent in taste. It came with a small container of plum sauce and grated daikon radish. The takoyaki itself had a couple of small octopus pieces inside. The plum sauce had a nice tangy flavor, perfect for summer. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I hope Tsukiji Gindaco continues to do well.

One day, on my way back from shopping, I stopped by the eat-in corner and had some standard type takoyaki. It was 550 yen for 8 pieces. When I first tried it, I was impressed by the crispy outer layer, but after getting used to it, it didn't feel that special anymore. It's a luxury after all. However, eating hot takoyaki while breathing in the steam is delicious. It's nice to be able to easily enjoy it as a snack at the eat-in corner when feeling a bit hungry. My mother and I each had 4 pieces, which was just the right amount for a snack. If you're going to eat it, definitely go for the eat-in option! However, this store doesn't have tables, there's no partition between the aisle and the seats, so it felt a bit unsettling.

I had takoyaki from Gindaco for the first time in years. I remember they used to have a store in the basement of Yodobashi Camera in Umeda, Osaka, but they quickly closed down. Did they try to compete in the takoyaki capital of Osaka and fail? They are known for their unique way of cooking with oil to make the outside crispy and the inside creamy, but while the outside was crispy, the inside was not as creamy as expected. Also, the takoyaki seemed to be lacking filling. Personally, I think the taste was decent, but they probably can't compete with the popular takoyaki shops in Osaka. Maybe they are avoiding opening stores in Kansai? I also tried the negi-dako with tempura dipping sauce, which was quite tasty. I would definitely consider coming back for this dish.

Tsukiji Gindaco is famous and popular even in Hokkaido. I purchased it at the AEON Sapporo Motomachi Shopping Center store. It's been a few years since I had Gindaco. It's crispy and delicious! Nowadays, they also have menu items like Teritama Mayonnaise flavor and Negi Dako. The skin is crispy! The inside is creamy! The octopus is tender! Why not try some takoyaki after a long time (^-^)丿

The outside is crispy and the inside is creamy, but it feels like just regular takoyaki. When you're really hungry, you might be impressed, but otherwise it's just average. Some people might even say takoyaki from a festival is better. The price is also fair. Taiyaki is better than takoyaki.

There are various limited-time flavors like green onion and mayo-tama, but the most delicious one seems to be the regular flavor. Each flavor comes in packs of 6 or 10, and the 10-pack is more cost-effective if you plan to eat more. You can request for more or less toppings, and the staff will accommodate your request. You can either take out or enjoy your meal at the chairs provided next to the store.

I had delivery from "Tsukiji Gindaco AEON Sapporo Motomachi Shopping Center Store" on November 5th. I have done takeout many times, but this was my first time ordering delivery. I think Gindaco is the only nationwide chain that has expanded to Hokkaido. Personally, I usually prefer to make my own food at home rather than eating out, but Gindaco is an exception. The crispy outside of their takoyaki is amazing! I ordered takoyaki and cheese mentaiko (24 pieces) for 2600 yen with a delivery discount of 310 yen. The packaging was different from the usual wooden boat plate and transparent plastic case, it was a paper package with some space for steam to escape. The takoyaki had the classic nori topping, which was actually a high-quality nori. The bonito flakes were finely shaved. In Hokkaido, bonito flakes are not commonly seen, so it was a nice touch. The takoyaki was still crispy even though it was delivered, and it was delicious. Gindaco will have a 45-minute all-you-can-eat event for 1078 yen in late November. The reservation slots in Asahikawa, Hokkaido are already sold out. Thank you for the meal.
