The staff were friendly and brought the food to my car, as the dishes take a little time to prepare. ASIAN FREEDOM is a takeout specialty store that sells bento boxes featuring daily Thai dishes, located in a converted residential garage. I tried the Gapao Rice (ข้าวผัดกะเพรา) which offered four levels of spiciness to choose from: mild, medium, hot, and extra hot. I chose hot, and it had a good level of spiciness for me, but I am curious to try the extra hot next time. The dish had a nice flavor of fish sauce and the long-grain rice added to the authentic Thai experience. The fresh slices of raw chili pepper provided a sharp and fresh spiciness. The egg was cooked on both sides and had a slightly runny yolk which paired well with the sweet and savory minced meat and rice. The cucumber garnish added a nice touch of saltiness. The location is a bit hard to find as it is on a busy street and there is no nearby parking, so some planning may be needed when picking up your takeout order. Next time, I plan to try the Massaman Curry.

After returning from work outside, I decided to get takeout and called in advance. They said they would deliver because I was close by, so I used their delivery service. I ordered the Massaman curry (including container, it was 830 yen). It came with 4 chicken wings and a whole potato. The taste was unique and a little spicy, but delicious. Thank you for the meal.
