Welcome. ---------- August 2020 ----------Located at the corner of Minami 1 Nishi 4, along the streetcar line, on the 2nd floor of Ikinari Steak, is a Lungo-style restaurant. Konnichiwa! I decided to stop by as they were opening at 3 pm. The first thing I noticed was the table-top sour server where you can help yourself to "Sawa, Highball" refills. The system had a well-chilled barrel and server hidden underneath. The restaurant below the capsule hotel didn't have the same level of chill. The staff, who looked great in their uniforms, asked me, "How long will you be staying?" I told them I would be there for just under an hour. Apart from beer, they also offered a pour-your-own tower server with unlimited drinks for 30 minutes at 500 yen. If you stay for 2 hours, it's 2000 yen by simple calculation, but if you worry about that, you won't be able to enjoy your drinks. Over there, it's 500 yen per hour, though. So, let's start drinking! I had a lemon sour with free lemon juice added. It seems they use Sapporo beer from a barrel with a high alcohol content, maybe using the "99.99%" one. You get drunk quickly. To start, I had boiled whitebait with ponzu sauce, a refreshing dish to balance the strong saltiness of the whitebait with the tangy ponzu flavor. Then, I had 2 fresh oysters from Kushiro, which were bigger and creamier than those 100 yen oysters I've had at various places. If they still have them in stock next time you visit the restaurant, oyster lovers should definitely try them. Next up was the salt koji jumbo yakitori, which was huge! It was more volume than quality, but the salt koji flavor was a great accompaniment to the drinks. If you feel like you need more, they will give you extra sauce. Just with that sauce, you'll want more drinks. I think the counter facing outside is where you'll get drunk the fastest. I had a great time enjoying the unusual experience. The staff's courtesy really showed their personalities. It reminded me of Mibe!
