I decided to stop by as they were opening at 3 pm. The first thing I noticed was the table-top sour server where you can help yourself to "Sawa, Highball" refills. The system had a well-chilled barrel and server hidden underneath. The restaurant below the capsule hotel didn't have the same level of chill. The staff, who looked great in their uniforms, asked me, "How long will you be staying?" I told them I would be there for just under an hour. Apart from beer, they also offered a pour-your-own tower server with unlimited drinks for 30 minutes at 500 yen. If you stay for 2 hours, it's 2000 yen by simple calculation, but if you worry about that, you won't be able to enjoy your drinks. Over there, it's 500 yen per hour, though. So, let's start drinking! I had a lemon sour with free lemon juice added. It seems they use Sapporo beer from a barrel with a high alcohol content, maybe using the "99.99%" one. You get drunk quickly. To start, I had boiled whitebait with ponzu sauce, a refreshing dish to balance the strong saltiness of the whitebait with the tangy ponzu flavor. Then, I had 2 fresh oysters from Kushiro, which were bigger and creamier than those 100 yen oysters I've had at various places. If they still have them in stock next time you visit the restaurant, oyster lovers should definitely try them. Next up was the salt koji jumbo yakitori, which was huge! It was more volume than quality, but the salt koji flavor was a great accompaniment to the drinks. If you feel like you need more, they will give you extra sauce. Just with that sauce, you'll want more drinks. I think the counter facing outside is where you'll get drunk the fastest. I had a great time enjoying the unusual experience. The staff's courtesy really showed their personalities. It reminded me of Mibe!

This is a restaurant that opened on October 1st. I was browsing their website and saw they have meat sushi. They also offer a 30-minute all-you-can-drink option for 500 yen, self-serve sashimi, tableside servers, and various interesting systems. If you enter by 6:00 PM, you can get a great coupon deal. I was thinking of going with the all-you-can-drink option for individual dishes, but I found the popular ala carte course for 2,980 yen to be a better deal. The signboard menu with the funny name "Aroy Chinchin" caught my attention, which means "seriously delicious" in Thai. The presentation was impressive, although the angle of the photo I took might be a bit silly. The grilled Atka mackerel marinated in kelp soy sauce is also a specialty here. It tastes like marinated Atka mackerel and is made with good quality fish. I also received a coupon for beef tongue steak, which was cooked rare and very tender and delicious. I noticed that the number of seats had decreased, but to my surprise, there was a self-service server on the table. You can pour yourself a highball or a sour! However, we didn't drink, so we didn't use it haha. Another thing that caught my eye was the showcase. Similar to the restaurant ◎◎, there were several small dishes that you could bring yourself. But we are lazy and didn't bother to try any. Here are the dishes we had: Crab toast - delicious, the bread was not too thin. Sashimi platter with salmon, tuna, and another fish I forgot. Beef tendon simmered in black vinegar - the taste was not bad, but there was not much tendon, it was more like minced meat. Grilled Atka mackerel with soy sauce - it had a nostalgic taste like mirin dried fish, delicious with a good amount of fat. Beef tongue steak - we used a coupon for this dish! It was thick but tender and so delicious! French fries with skin from Kanamaru Farm - a popular menu item also found in their other stores. The salt was a bit light, and the taste of the potato was not very clear. Sushi with beef from Zao Kogen - it was fatty and delicious. They seared it at the table for us. We tried it with wasabi soy sauce and also with the Italian salt they provided, both were delicious. Shrimp escargot with butter and cheese - served on top of purple sweet potato, different from the previous sweet potato, this one was sweet and tasty. Lastly, we were introduced to the Aloy Chin Chin Carving, a sausage intricately carved to look like the real thing. It was served with tartar sauce and white sauce, a bit difficult to eat. It seems more suitable for a quick drink rather than a leisurely meal, especially with the self-service server. Definitely worth trying! Thank you for the delicious meal!
