She suggested a place called Hokkaido Product Teine Marche, which gathers products from various shops in Hokkaido and sells them in vending machines. After having lunch, we headed there and found it located in a corner of the Sanko Packaging in Teine's Akebono area. One particular item that caught my attention was the baked sweet potatoes from "Otosan Yakiimo." It was convenient to be able to buy it from a vending machine in Teine. The sweet potatoes were frozen, so I bought one and let it naturally thaw before eating. The sweet potatoes used in this product are from Hoshiimo Yamanaka in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. When I tried it, the texture was moist and smooth, and it was quite sweet, almost like a sweet potato pie. It was more delicious than I expected, and I would definitely try it again if I have the chance.

It seems like I may need to be hospitalized in July due to worsening condition, but it will likely be after 2 weeks following the second dose of the COVID vaccine. The doctor instructed to confirm the vaccine schedule with Sapporo City, but the vaccination progress in Hokkaido is the lowest in the country. The impact can be seen in the high number of deaths in Hokkaido compared to Tokyo. In this environment, marathon events for the Olympics will be held in Sapporo. The disparity in vaccination progress between Tokyo and Sapporo raises questions about the reasons behind it. I appreciate your continued support.

At "Hoshii mo Yamanaka" in Ibaraki, they cultivate sweet potatoes using the "Minehime" variety to make their roasted sweet potatoes. I tried their new item, chilled roasted sweet potatoes! I chose a vacuum-packed pack with a small amount. When I held it, it felt very soft, almost like it could dent. Surprisingly, it was very soft! The pre-cut cup version is frozen. You can eat it frozen like ice cream, and it's delicious even when partially thawed. Both options cost around 500 yen. They can last for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator. The chilled roasted sweet potatoes are shiny, but the inside texture is not as dense. However, they are incredibly sweet. The most impressive point is the high moisture content! It's very smooth, almost like cream. You can eat it even without the moisture. I also tried eating the skin, but I'm not sure if that's the right way to enjoy it. It's no longer just chilled roasted sweet potatoes. I also learned that the owner is an impersonator of comedians from the pamphlet I received. I hope they have events in the future. This taste comes from their late father. It was really delicious. Apart from roasted sweet potatoes, they have various other unique products on display. Currently, they are running a campaign where you can receive Shijimi soy sauce by visiting 3 participating stores, including this one. Some stores might have shortened hours or be closed, but it's worth a try! I highly recommend this one-of-a-kind chilled roasted sweet potatoes! Thank you for the meal.

I went out to buy soba noodles and came across an eye-catching banner along the way. It said "Dad's roasted sweet potatoes". It caught my interest. I decided to stop by on my way back and finally made a visit in the evening. The front of the store was narrow, with a steep parking lot that could barely fit one car. The inside of the store was also very small. Right by the entrance, there were roasted sweet potatoes, as well as specialty processed products and seasonings. The roasted sweet potatoes were made from the Minihikari variety from Ibaraki. They were wrapped in aluminum foil and priced by weight. I bought two roasted sweet potatoes. Since they didn't use eggs, I also bought sweet potato pudding for my daughter. When I got home, I ate them right away while they were still warm. The sweet aroma that rose up when I gently peeled off the aluminum foil. I took a bite of the sticky and rich yellow sweet potato. Mmm, delicious. We shared them as a family and finished them in no time. The sweet potato pudding had the sweet potato puree on the surface with a browned crust. I think it would be more cost-effective to buy the roasted sweet potatoes and mash them yourself.

I found out about this place through a friend's Facebook post. The page isn't even set up yet. So, I made sure to register the new store properly. I went to buy something right away. I took some pictures, did some shopping, now all that's left is to eat it! They use a variety called "Minehime" from Ibaraki. It's the first time in Hokkaido. It's very soft and sweet. The honey oozes out slowly, making it moist all over. It's not dry at all, you can eat it like sweet potato. Is that an exaggeration? I really think it's delicious here. Oh, and even if the baked sweet potatoes are sold out, they have something called "Hoshi Da Minetaka". It's a very sticky sweet potato, like mochi or dango, with a unique texture. You can even use it as a tea snack. I hope I managed to write a decent review. It might not be very good, but it's better than not writing anything, right?

I was interested in the snacks sold at Teine Marche (vending machine) haha. I was actually aiming for fried sweet potatoes, but they were sold out haha. I also tried the malasada from Foods and Bread, but I heard that this store has closed and merged with Moo%. The chilled baked sweet potatoes had two quite heavy pieces in them. They were completely frozen and it took about two hours to thaw them haha. The taste was very moist and sweet, like sweet potato. Once you eat this, you won't be able to eat other sweet potatoes anymore because it was so juicy and delicious. I wanted to try the fried sweet potatoes... (that's not the point of this review).
