On July 22, 2023 (Saturday), dinner (1). With my partner and a friend. On the third day of our trip to Hokkaido. We watched a test match between the Japanese national team and the Samoan national team at the Sapporo Dome, and then met up with my former college teammate, I, at 5:33 PM, departing from Ito Yokado Fukuzumi store. We avoided Route 36 using CarNav and arrived at the hotel smoothly at exactly 6:00 PM. We had made a reservation at an izakaya for dinner, but they couldn't accommodate the change in the number of people, so the three of us decided to eat and drink together before that. We walked on the north side of the Susukino intersection, and since I said he wanted to eat Genghis Khan, we looked for a restaurant that served it. We were turned away from 3 places because they were full, but this one had space so we decided to give it a try. We ordered draft beer, special marinated lamb, lamb shoulder loin, and Genghis Khan vegetable assortment. We only had a little bit since we had plans after this. The Genghis Khan was okay. We ordered udon as a finishing touch, but the vegetables from the Genghis Khan were burnt so we had to change the pot, making it just average. I had another beer and the total bill came to 8008 yen. Well, for tourists who find it troublesome to go all the way to the Sapporo Beer Garden, this place would be convenient (laughs).

I visited during the Sapporo Snow Festival in Hokkaido, but couldn't get into the Sapporo Beer Garden due to full reservations. So, I searched for a place where I could enjoy Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and delicious beer and found the Kirin Beer Garden. It doesn't require reservations, has good access from Susukino Station, and offers all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan at a reasonable price. This time, I ordered a comparison of raw lamb Genghis Khan and all-you-can-eat pork with homemade leek salt sauce. It also came with all-you-can-drink Brau Meister. There was a guide on how to grill Genghis Khan deliciously, so even beginners could enjoy it with peace of mind. Dharma, a famous Genghis Khan restaurant, had long lines everywhere, so if you become a Genghis Khan refugee like me, I recommend considering this place as an alternative.

The interior of the restaurant is spacious, with a long hall-like area in the back. There are many seats, so even if you go alone, it doesn't feel awkward as there were many solo diners. Being a Kirin establishment, they have a wide variety of beers available. The all-you-can-drink option ranges from 1750 yen for 100 minutes, while the all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) starts at 3680 yen. I ordered a half and half of black beer and regular beer, and the Kirin beer was delicious. Looking at the menu, aside from Genghis Khan, they also offer black wagyu beef, seafood, and various appetizers. I ordered the lamb shoulder for 1080 yen, lamb shoulder loin for 1550 yen, mutton fillet for 1600 yen, and a mixed vegetable platter for 590 yen. The mutton had a mild flavor and was easy to eat. The lamb shoulder was average. The vegetable platter was colorful and generous, with bell peppers, carrots, onions, bean sprouts, and a thick sauce that was a bit too gooey for my taste. I opted for the all-you-can-drink option, and they had a good selection of shochu as well. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Visited on November 6, 2022 at 7:00 PM. After being temporarily closed due to the state of emergency, "Kirin Beer Garden Urban Store" has reopened, so I made a reservation and visited promptly. One of the exciting things about each visit is that the all-you-can-eat course slightly changes each time. This time, I opted for the "Genghis Khan (raw lamb) and Samgyeopsal all-you-can-eat for ¥4,235" with an additional "Rice all-you-can-eat for +¥319." For drinks, there is an all-you-can-drink option, but I ordered a single "Barrel Hard Cider for ¥682." The raw lamb Genghis Khan meat is cut into various sizes, making it perfect for wrapping in vegetables. The sauce is delicious, allowing you to eat to your heart's content without worrying about the cost. The Samgyeopsal consists of salt-grilled pork belly wrapped in lettuce with miso, providing a healthy option with plenty of vegetables. It had been a while since I had an all-you-can-eat meal, but I stopped at about 80% full to avoid feeling too stuffed when leaving. Today's all-you-can-eat experience was quite healthy and delicious. I was brought to this restaurant by my hobby group in Sapporo. It seems to be a chain restaurant. The tables are spacious and it's a good place for families or groups. In Sapporo, Daruma is famous for their Genghis Khan, but it's crowded and only has a counter, so it's not suitable for groups. We tried raw lamb and the old frozen lamb (round ones). I didn't know how to eat it properly, so I ended up cooking it on the hot plate right away. Apparently, you're supposed to put vegetables on the hot plate and use the steam from the evaporating water to cook the lamb. Raw lamb was delicious. However, older people mentioned that the old frozen lamb used to be sold for 500 yen per kilogram. It was cheap, which is probably why it became popular. I learned that raw lamb is a revolutionary evolution in meat. Some people may not like the smell of lamb, but Genghis Khan in Hokkaido is a bit different from the mainland.

We stopped by for dinner during our company trip. The restaurant had a spacious and lively atmosphere. It took a while for our orders to arrive, but the meat and beer were delicious. We also enjoyed dishes like grilled scallops. If I ever visit Hokkaido again, I would like to try this restaurant.

In the evening, I arrived at Chitose Inn. After renting a car and checking in at Sapporo, I walked to a lively beer garden located on the 7th floor of a corner building within walking distance. You take a private elevator that is separate from the other floors, and as you ascend, you can smell the delicious aroma of grilled meat. I had reserved a table at the entrance where the staff could easily see, so the service was impeccable. There were plenty of staff members, so the service was fast and efficient. The bean sprouts here were delicious as well, and I was able to enjoy eating and chatting without any complaints. Perhaps the service at a restaurant where you can get lost in eating and talking is actually good service. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

It was my first time trying Genghis Khan, and I was a bit worried if I could eat it, but the meat was delicious! It was tender and had no odor. I kept adding more and more (laughs). The seafood grill was also delicious, and my daughter and I love scallops, so we kept wanting more (๑´ㅂ`๑). We burnt a lot of bean sprouts, but we had a great time chatting and eating. It was a long time since we had a family trip, and we were able to relax in a nice private room. Thank you very much for the meal. It was delicious! ✩.*˚

The final night in Hokkaido was spent here. I had the hydrangea course for 5500 yen. Since I had a late lunch, I couldn't eat too much rice, so I don't have much to say about the rice dishes, but the meat was satisfying. It would be even better if they could provide salt, pepper, and lemon. The alcohol was served promptly, and the restaurant was clean, so I would like to visit again when I go to Sapporo.

At lunchtime, we felt like having lamb, so we decided to visit Kirin Beer En on a whim. We were escorted to a private room and enjoyed a leisurely lunch with my partner. The raw lamb, kalbi, and seasoned Jingisukan were all delicious! We had a relaxing lunchtime. Thank you very much! We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Originally planned for a rooftop beer garden, but changed to this place due to rain. The live lamb was so good! And on top of that, they offer a unique discount of 14% for Hokkaido residents! With four people, we each paid around 3,000 yen for all-you-can-drink and our choice of favorite meats! We drank and ate to our heart's content! Thank you for the delicious meal!

In 2020, chappytsum was transferred, so the juniors organized a farewell party for him. The junior treated chappytsum to a meal, saying he could eat as much as he wanted. Chappytsum joked about the junior being stingy, limiting him to three plates of meat. They went to the "Kirin Beer Garden Urban Branch" for the party. The atmosphere was lively, and the food was decent. Chappytsum thanked the juniors for the treat and enjoyed the meal.

We went out with a friendly couple to enjoy Genghis Khan and karaoke. We chose the all-you-can-drink option and had a great time eating delicious meat selected by my partner. We had a variety of meats including lamb, shoulder loin, and premium Tokachi beef kalbi, along with grilled vegetables, edamame, and a salad with lots of green onions. We had a lot to drink, I wonder how much exactly! After enjoying plenty of good meat and drinks, we headed to karaoke full of energy. Thank you for the feast!

The banquet course was originally 5000 yen but we got it for 4000 yen (4400 yen including tax) for a group of 10 people. It included lamb, chicken, vegetables, all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink. Instead of all-you-can-eat, we got edamame, fried potatoes, and salmon onigiri. The beer from Kirin was amazing, I usually only drink beer for toasts but I ended up having multiple glasses. We had a private room and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, we didn't have to interact with other customers and could enjoy our own world.

Two nights, three days trip to Hokkaido. Gotta try Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) too. Famous restaurants are already crowded due to the Obon season. Didn't have a strong preference, so ended up at this big restaurant. Located on one floor of a building in Susukino, with many lively staff members. We were seated in a semi-private booth. Most customers seemed to be ordering the all-you-can-eat option, but we decided to order individual items this time. We chose a menu to enjoy the atmosphere, including sour drinks, Genghis Khan (with sauce and lamb), vegetable ramen, salad, zangi (fried chicken), and buttered salted potatoes. The Genghis Khan pot here was not piled high but flat. The sauce was served as is, while the other items were to be dipped in the sauce. It was easy to eat without any strong smell. It seemed like it would go well with rice like yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). The ramen salad had a generous portion, and it was quite a challenge for two people to finish. It had a sesame dressing. We were able to easily taste the famous Hokkaido dishes!

This beer garden is located on the 7th floor of a building, so it doesn't have an open feel, but it is clean and the floor is very spacious, giving off a bright beer hall vibe. Since it was daytime, the number of customers was slow, creating a relaxed atmosphere. There are private rooms available, so it can be used for various situations. As expected from a beer garden, the way they pour draft beer is excellent. Delicious! As for the food, they have stopped the all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan and now offer a la carte, allowing you to eat as much as you want. First, I tried the special marinated lamb and the fresh lamb shoulder. The fresh lamb was tender and delicious without any gamey taste, exceeding my expectations. The marinated lamb also had a great flavor that paired well with the sauce. I also enjoyed the pork, shoulder, and other dishes that filled my stomach. Overall, it was so delicious!

I went on a business trip to Hokkaido and visited the Kirin Beer Garden Urban Store in Sapporo. We had a reservation for a small group. After checking in, we were seated at a table with a view of the main hall, which had a high ceiling and allowed us to see the entire room. In the main hall, there was a company meeting taking place, with something being projected on a screen as many customers enjoyed Genghis Khan (grilled lamb). The raw lamb was excellent, and we were able to taste three types of beer - regular, black, and half. Everything was delicious.

When going in a group, it seems like you are directed to the hall, but we were a small group for a second party so we avoided the all-you-can-eat and planned to order individual dishes in small quantities. A private room was prepared for us. The marinated lamb had a bit of a sheep smell... I had the image of Matsuo Jingisukan, so it was quite different!! Unlike Matsuo, where you pour the seasoning sauce while grilling, here you cook the meat while steaming on top and then add the sauce to eat. When eating bean sprouts and vegetables, it's better to sprinkle the spicy salt and pepper-like powder on the table rather than using the sauce! Ordering individual dishes can be quite expensive, so maybe the all-you-can-eat option is better after all? It's not ideal for a second party to go with individual dishes!!! The staff's service is very good!

When it comes to dinner in Hokkaido, it's all about beer and Genghis Khan (grilled lamb). I went to this restaurant where they had Kirin and Sapporo beer. Since I don't drink much, I ordered the Genghis Khan all-you-can-eat and a single beer. The meat and vegetables were brought to the table, but I didn't know how to cook them properly so I just grilled them randomly. Later, I noticed the instructions on the back of the menu. The meat was tender and didn't have a strong flavor. When dipped in the rich sauce, it went well with rice. I couldn't eat enough to make it worth the price, but I enjoyed the atmosphere, so it was quite good.
