The soba restaurant is good with its normal atmosphere. It gives off a feeling of being just an ordinary place. I'll have a large serving, please. Sure, one large serving coming up. A large serving, please! Sure thing. Everything flows in a normal way. "Which large serving would you like?" "The zaru large serving has more than the regular large serving." Lately, things like that have been happening. The sound of men slurping noodles at various tables. The bill, please! Here you go! Thank you very much. Just the usual exchange like that. Maybe it's because it's in the old-fashioned downtown area of Hakodate. The slightly firm texture of the noodles also adds a refreshing sensation. Delicious.

This is a soba restaurant located on Hanazono Industrial Road. It was my first visit. The parking in front of the store is a bit difficult, but there is space on the side. I had hand-made soba for 880 yen. It seemed to be from Rankoshi. The set menu looked like a good deal.

I used to order delivery from this restaurant when I was a kid living in Hakodate about 35 years ago. They seem to be putting a lot of effort into their food now, and I recently tried their ramen. It was much more delicious than the restaurants featured on TV, and the prices were also very reasonable.

It was crowded with salarymen. The hand-made soba was delicious. A typical soba restaurant. The staff were friendly.

I visited "Ajino Hanazono" located along Sangyo-doro. The pricing is a bit odd with Mori (500 yen), Oomori (600 yen), and Teuchi Mori (700 yen). The restaurant has table and tatami seating. The menu includes red tanuki soba and green tanuki soba. There is also a dish named as a support for disaster-stricken areas, showing a playful and volunteer spirit. They create a monthly recommended menu to entertain customers. The recommended dish here seems to be the lunch set (800 yen), but I tried the Teuchi Mori (700 yen) this time. It is made with limited quantity of Kitawase from Rankoshi, known for its greenish noodles. The hot soba water is promptly poured into the cup after finishing the noodles. The friendly and smiling landlady's excellent customer service is impressive. I think this restaurant would be recommended for everyone.

Today's radar for katsudon has been activated! The target is "Soba Restaurant Ajinohana"....so it's my first time visiting this place. It's located along the Sangyo-doro, sandwiched between Recycle Big Bang and Yakiniku Banchou, with a clean interior. There are sunken kotatsu seating and regular table seating available. There are 5 groups of customers already, quite busy for lunchtime. The menu is extensive, with hand-made soba and special menus to support disaster-stricken areas! By the way, there are two types of katsudon, regular and special, with the difference being the size of the meat! I ordered the katsudon set (with cold soba) and it arrived in about 5 minutes! The soba noodles are slightly thin machine-made, soft and chewy, and the broth is on the slightly richer side. The katsudon ingredients include onions, egg, and green peas. The pork cutlet is thin, not crispy, soaked in the broth, and the egg is cooked firm. The sweet broth permeates every grain of rice, giving it a "soba restaurant katsudon" feel, quite delicious! Thank you for the meal.

This shop on Sangyo-doro had a beautiful exterior and interior. The inside was decorated with flowers and items neatly arranged. The menu featured original dishes like red tanuki soba with small shrimp tempura, green tanuki soba, and various other soba sets. The lunch menu offered a selection of soba, tonkatsu, croquettes, and mackerel miso for 750 yen from 11:00 to 14:00. The soba was machine-made but nicely presented in a well-decorated bowl. The shop had a welcoming atmosphere suitable for solo female diners.

The restaurant is located facing Route 100, with parking for 9 cars in front and on the side. Access by car is convenient. They serve hand-made soba, but the exact blend is unknown. I had the Mori-Oo (large serving). The soba noodles are a medium thickness and grayish in color, with faint specks of tea leaves. The cold noodles are drained well and have a moderate firmness. There are slight uneven cuts, but overall the presentation is good. The soba has a relatively weak firmness, but the flavor is excellent with a deep sweetness. The portion size is generous. The dipping sauce is flavorful with a slightly strong acidity, which pairs well with the soba.

Even though I passed by here many times, I didn't notice this place until now. Perhaps it's because of the name "Ajisaien" that doesn't sound like a soba restaurant. I thought the monthly recommended dish was cold noodles based on what was written at the entrance, but looking at the photos, the presentation was like cold ramen, so I changed my mind. They have a variety of original menus, and I felt like trying something different. My husband chose the green tanuki soba, so I went with the red tanuki soba. The green one had seaweed tempura, while the red one had shrimp tempura. The flavors of the broth and shrimp were delicious. The thin noodles were served generously. I was also intrigued by the special item of the day, the hand-cut soba from Rankoshi for 650 yen. It seems like they have something new whenever the new soba season starts. There was a menu on the wall supporting the Tohoku earthquake victims, featuring Sasa Kamaten soba with what seems to be crab meat. This kind of choice shows the creativity of the restaurant. The place was clean and lively with families, but it bothered me to see empty bowls left on the tables even after people had left.
