I was intrigued by the menu photo of "Coffee-flavored soft serve ice cream" and decided to try it after lunch at Apia. The soft serve ice cream costs 400 yen for regular size, but they also offer a mini size for half the price at 200 yen. I recommend getting the regular size. You can choose between a cone or a cup for your ice cream. The soft serve ice cream is light brown in color with black coffee powder sprinkled on top. When you take a bite, you can feel the crunch of the coffee powder and the strong aroma of coffee. The smooth texture of the ice cream, with a subtle sweetness and adult-like flavor, is delicious. Additionally, there is a café space to the left of the escalator. It seems to be non-smoking now, so I am thinking of trying their lunch menu next time.

On the way home, my mother, who usually doesn't like sweet things, unexpectedly suggested getting soft serve ice cream. I immediately thought of this place known for its delicious and mildly sweet soft serve ice cream. It was our first visit together. Walking from JR Sapporo Station towards Chi-Ka-Ho, past the north ticket gate of the South-North Line, you will see the sign for Misuzu Coffee on your right. The small shop has only three chairs. While my mother saved our seats, I went to the counter to order. The coffee shop's coffee soft serve comes in regular and mini sizes, with the option of a cup or cone for the regular size. I ordered a mini for my mother and, of course, a regular cone for myself. The coffee soft serve had a nice hint of coffee bitterness first, with a restrained sweetness. It was topped with coffee powder, giving it a wonderful coffee aroma. Coffee lovers would definitely enjoy it. Even though it was a mini size, it was a bit on the smaller side, but my mother finished it all in one go. It was a soft serve ice cream that even people who don't like sweet things can enjoy.
