I was looking for a light ramen to finish off after having Genghis Khan, and I came across this place in Ramen Alley where the sign said they have plenty of clam broth. Although there were only a few clams in it, I decided to try their recommended miso clam ramen. The soup had a really nice and clean taste, with a rich clam flavor that was very comforting and light. I usually prefer rich miso ramen, but this was exactly what I wanted after Genghis Khan.

I haven't had ramen made with clam broth since I tried it at Haruki Teahouse in Wakkanai. I know salt flavor would probably be better, but I wanted something rich after drinking, so I ordered miso flavor. The first sip of broth spreading in my mouth was amazing! This is a delicious ramen shop!

Yesterday, I went to Shimijimi at the recommendation of a friend. The interior of the restaurant was small, with only counter seats for about 6 people. There were no booth seats. The restaurant is located in Ramen Alley. I had the salt ramen, which I found to be a bit light in flavor. Adding the recommended basil to the ramen transformed it into a basil-flavored ramen with a stronger taste. I enjoy basil, so I was able to enjoy it, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The smell of the ramen seemed to overpower the soup, which was disappointing. The staff was unfriendly. Overall, I don't think I will be visiting again. This is just my personal opinion.

I went to the original ramen alley in Susukino for the third round of drinks with my friends. We decided to end the night at Shimiji, as it was the only place not crowded. We ordered their most popular ramen, the Rich Clam Miso Ramen (850 yen). The miso soup, made with clam broth and chicken broth, may look light but it has a rich flavor. The curly noodles had a nice texture and paired well with the flavorful soup. After finishing the noodles, adding a bit of basil made the soup even more enjoyable. This meal definitely helped prevent a hangover tomorrow. Thank you for the delicious food!

Most shops were closing up, but a few were still open. I decided to try "Shimijimi Honten" first. The shop had a simple white and black sign with a photo of clams, indicating they use clams in their ramen. I ordered the "Clam Salt Ramen" and found the broth to be rich and flavorful, a combination of clam and chicken broth. The noodles were yellow, with a smooth texture and a good chew. The small clams added a nice touch to the dish. I also added some basil oil to the soup, giving it a unique twist. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to trying their miso ramen next time.

Sincerely, at the main store, I had the Chashu Ramen at the 3rd place I visited. It cost ¥1050. No wait on weekdays at 0:45 am. I had ramen at Susukino Ramen Yokocho in Sapporo. There was basil paste on the table, which went well with the ramen. The soup seemed to be good for the liver. The ramen was delicious, but I can't remember if it was miso or soy sauce because I was too drunk. The clams were small, and I almost broke a tooth because I didn't notice them in the noodles. It's dangerous for drunk people, so be careful. I should probably be the only one who drinks too much. The ramen was made by a woman in the kitchen and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Now, let's head to the last 4th place.

Shimijimi Honten Honestly, my memory is a bit fuzzy (^^;) I remember going into the restaurant and eating, but the details are a bit unclear... I can't quite recall what kind of ramen I ordered, but I'm sure it was soy sauce flavored. Yeah. It had a strong clam flavor, and since I had been drinking, it felt like it would be good for my body (laughs). However, the taste itself wasn't incredibly delicious, and I could imagine that this flavor could be achieved by using clam broth. The noodles were medium thickness and not too high in hydration, which paired well with the soup. I remember finishing the soup completely, especially since I was quite drunk. But I didn't go overboard tonight and managed to enjoy the whole experience (laughs). It was a long night, but that concludes tonight's review. After finishing off some hormone dishes, I went in search of ramen for my final dish. I wanted to try out a new place this time. It was Sunday night, so my options were limited, but I found a place that serves clam ramen when I searched. Oh, interesting! Where is it? Oh, it's in Ramen Yokocho? Do I have to walk around three times and end up back where I started again? Ramen Yokocho... I feel like a beginner and I don't really like it, but clam ramen as a final dish sounds gentle and nice, especially after drinking. So, I walked to Ramen Yokocho with that feeling in mind. Where was Ramen Yokocho again? Despite the internal dialogue, I arrived safely. At the end of the alley... Oh, there's a line! I can't believe I'm queuing up at Ramen Yokocho. After a while, I finally entered the shop. It was a small shop with only 5-6 counter seats, and the owner was handling everything alone. I ordered the light clam soy sauce ramen. Looking at the menu, is this the sadness of Sapporo? The main menu consists of clam miso, salt, soy sauce, rich → thick → light. It was thoroughly done, and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw clam rice on the menu. The ramen served had steam rising, and it appeared white in the photo, but it was a beautiful soy sauce ramen with clams floating in it, and it was delicious even if you eat it as it is. It also came with a boiled egg and dried seaweed. The ingredients that didn't overpower the clam broth in a good way left a good impression. As stated on the menu, it was a ramen that made you feel refreshed after drinking. The effectiveness of the clams the next day is uncertain, but it was a good experience.笑
