On a day off, I had some errands in Shinoro and on the way, I happened to see this place that I hadn't seen in a while. Suddenly, I felt like eating the meat from here, so I made a detour. When I entered the store, a female staff member and a small child greeted me. The child was so cute and it made me feel warm inside. As for the meat, I couldn't miss the popular thick-cut beef tongue here. I also bought some chuck flap tail and rump block. The thick-cut beef tongue comes in two pieces, thick yet tender, without any unpleasant smell, and seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper. The chuck flap tail comes with two large pieces with a good balance of lean meat and fat, very delicious. The rump block, a part where you can feel the lean meat well, is also tender and tasty. With this quality of meat and tenderness, the portion size and price are also great. I might find myself going back to buy more if I crave it again. Thank you for the meal!

I finally got to visit a famous butcher shop known for its thick-cut beef tongue!! Wu-ta took me there and treated me to their thick-cut beef tongue (200g for 1728 yen). It's basically like a beef tongue steak...!! It's very satisfying to eat!! Much better than the beef tongue at regular yakiniku restaurants!! In fact, it was the best beef tongue I've ever had♡ Wu-ta drove us all the way to Shinoro this time, but I heard they are planning to move to Shimoine Street soon (lol). It will be more convenient to visit, so I might treat myself to it on special occasions in the future ( *´艸`) It's a high-quality item, so it's not something I would eat regularly!

This is a review of a restaurant in Chitose called "Hige no Oyaji," run by Sun Meat Kimura's son in Otaru. The reviewer went to buy lunch but was told to call in advance as they don't have pre-made meals. Instead, they decided to have a BBQ at their parents' house in Chitose and bought various meats from the restaurant. They found the salted beef intestines to be delicious with a nice texture and flavor. They also tried the salted hormone, which was good but not as tasty as the intestines. Although the portions were small, they enjoyed the meal with their family. They plan to try the bento from the restaurant next time.

Today, November 29th, is said to be "good meat day," so I decided to review a meat restaurant I visited recently. I saw this place on TV the other day. They are known for their thick-cut beef tongue, which is incredibly tender and delicious. The restaurant is called "Nikutama Kimura" and it used to be in Teine, but now it has moved to Shinoro. There is also a branch in Nishino called "Nikutama Sanmeet Kimura Nishino Branch." Apparently, the original store was in Otaru, but I've never been there. It seems like the son is running the Sapporo locations. When I visited, the person on TV (probably the son) was there to greet us. He was wearing a stylish beret and had a great presence! Here is what I bought: - Thick-cut beef tongue (200g) for 1,600 yen - Misuji (150g) for 600 yen - Kalbi (250g) for 500 yen - Maruchou (200g) for 500 yen - Lamb with bones (2 pieces) for 600 yen The Maruchou and lamb with bones were not seasoned, while the rest were. The meat comes from the USA, Mexico, and other places. First of all, the beef tongue here is amazing because of its thickness! It takes 3 days to prepare, but it's worth it. It has cuts on it, so it doesn't take long to cook. When I tried it, I was truly impressed by how tender it was! It's not overly seasoned with just salt and black pepper, so you can enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed. The flavor of the meat also bursts in your mouth. This beef tongue is definitely worth buying again! The Kalbi is a good deal at 250g for 500 yen, and it's enough for everyday consumption. It's seasoned, so it would be great for outdoor BBQs in the summer. The Misuji has thin streaks of fat, so it's popular with those who prefer lean meat, like my family. The beef tongue, Kalbi, and Misuji from here are must-haves in my household! The Maruchou and lamb with bones were not seasoned, so I just seasoned them with salt and pepper. I'm not sure which seasoning brings out the flavor of the meat best, so I would prefer them to be pre-seasoned. They have over 30 types of meat available at all times, and they also offer takeout bento boxes starting at 450 yen. If this restaurant were closer to my home, I would be extremely happy!
