- "Just dropped by for lunch~♬ (Had decided on the menu beforehand but couldn't find the right timing to visit, so it's been a while!)
- Lunch menu: LEGGERO PASTA - Bolognese, salad, focaccia, and tea. The pasta can be chosen from different options. I went for the freshly made Bolognese. For drinks, you can choose between espresso or tea.
- The appetizer salad was light and crispy, and the focaccia was fluffy and chewy. The rich Bolognese pasta was absolutely delicious!
- I also got the Lemon Focaccia and Caramel Focaccia that I had seen on Instagram. The Lemon Focaccia, with its generous lemon icing, was surprisingly tasty. Highly recommended!
- It seems that they will be introducing a spring menu soon."

This is my second time visiting. There are counter seats and table seats (1 table for 2 people, 2 tables for 4 people) and we chose the 2-person table. Tonchini-san prepares the dishes alone, so if it's busy, it may take a bit of time for the food to be served. I recommend the Italian ham plate. Even though I can't drink wine, I still enjoyed it. For dinner, each person gets one drink, so my partner ordered apricot and I ordered peach. We ordered butter anchovy pasta, a pizza called NATSU, and for dessert, we had affogato. We had a wonderful dinner experience. I would love to go back again. Thank you, Tonchini-san, for always making delicious food. ♡

I went there several times, and even though it wasn't a regular holiday, I called to confirm that they were open before visiting. During lunchtime, the restaurant was almost full! It's a popular place! They offer three lunch options: 1600 yen, 2000 yen, and 2200 yen, with an additional 400 yen if you want dessert. Overall, it was quite pricey.
I ordered the following:
- Pizza "MIKE" for 1500 yen
- Fried potatoes and spicy sausage
After ordering, the staff asked, "Is spicy okay for you?" There was no mention of spiciness on the menu, but it was indeed a bit spicy. Nonetheless, it was delicious.
- Lasagna Bolognese for 1560 yen
It was so delicious! My husband couldn't resist taking some of it (laughs). This dish was definitely worth the price. Seriously tasty! It's not something we would make at home, so it felt special.
- Carbonara for 1380 yen
Since carbonara is something we can make at home, it didn't leave a strong impression when eaten at the restaurant. It was good, but not outstanding.
I would love to go back for the lasagna. It seems like having a drink is mandatory in the evening, so I'll stick to lunch next time! Thank you for the meal!

On a certain weekday, during a time when the burden on healthcare workers in Sapporo was a concern, I took a little expedition to a restaurant in Suehirocho, Tomakomai City. The parking lot seemed to accommodate a suitable number of cars at the back of the restaurant. The interior, which was renovated from a single-family home, was divided into two separate spaces at the entrance, with a counter and table seats. From behind the counter, a foreign chef and a Japanese woman greeted me with gentle smiles. Gentle music was playing in the background. On this day, it seemed that pizza was only available for dinner, so I decided to choose pasta. Although I would have preferred the green pasta, I opted for the "Half Set (1500 yen)" pasta with "Rigatoni Pasta" and chose an espresso for the set drink. The Prosciutto salad that arrived first had thinly sliced ham with shaved cheese on top, creating a deep salty flavor. The fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes, along with a dressing made of balsamic vinegar and something sweet and fruity, were also good. Next, the Italian bean soup warmed both the heart and body. The soup, filled with beans and croutons, had a distinct Italian flavor with a hint of olive oil. When the main dish arrived, I took a bite and thought, "Wow, this is really good." The Carbonara, made without cream, had a firm pasta that paired well with the cheese and pepper flavors. The bacon on the side also added depth to the dish. The espresso that arrived after the meal was rich and full-bodied, making me feel happy. I enjoyed the authentic Italian pasta that seemed rare in Sapporo. Thank you for the meal.

A single-family house restaurant. It feels more like a normal house than a stylish place. You take off your shoes before entering. Avoiding the honey, head towards the counter where there are no customers. Lunch sets range from 1500 yen. It includes soup, appetizer, salad, choice of half-size pasta, and tea or espresso. The bean soup had lots of beans! It was a light but satisfying tomato-based soup. The appetizer was zucchini, served on the same plate as the salad. The salad had a balsamic dressing with a tangy acidity that was surprisingly delicious. The pasta I chose was puttanesca, a half-size portion of 40g. It had a strong anchovy flavor and the pasta was cooked to a slightly firm texture, easy for Japanese palates. There was also olive in it. They also offer individual pizzas. I had a salad pizza since they didn't have Bismarck. The crust was chewy and not crispy, giving it a satisfying bite. A regular size pasta lunch costs 2000 yen. I wish I could go there again. I could tell they use good ingredients! Thank you for the meal!

I visited Tonchini, which I was curious about because of a post by Mairevi. I ordered the "Autumn Limited Tortelli Pasta" (1650 yen), the "Daily Dessert" (forgot the price), and a "Cappuccino" (300 yen) that caught my eye on the shop's Instagram. It was my first time trying Tortelli pasta! It had a chewy dough filled with porcini mushrooms and porcini cream. The texture of the porcini mushrooms was good, and the taste of the cream was not overpowering, making it delicious. The daily dessert was a cake with rich chocolate inside. The cappuccino paired well with it and was also delicious. They mentioned that pizza will be added to the menu in December, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal! \(^^)/

My Instagram photo was chosen as the winner for July, and I received a message from the restaurant, so I revisited. I received a discount and an Italian drink (which might have been a special offer) - lucky me! It was a fun promotion. The One Plate Lunch set with a drink for 1200 yen is a new menu item. You can choose a half-size pasta and either an appetizer or soup, with a drink included. I chose the appetizer and the "Napoli Sauce" pasta. The prosciutto was thickly sliced and delicious, the bruschetta with ham and cream drizzled with honey was great, the caprese salad with sweet tomatoes and mild mozzarella was good, the salad with fresh, tangy dressing was tasty, and the Napoli Sauce with a gentle and simple flavor was delicious. The pasta had a perfect texture and was cooked just right. The espresso was well-brewed too. I chatted with an elegant elderly gentleman who used many Italian words and the lady of the house about the dishes. She explained everything thoroughly, which was nice. She even let me taste the soup of the day, "Leek and Potato Soup," which was creamy with a hint of sweetness and a gentle leek flavor - very tasty. Overall, the One Plate Lunch had a simple and gentle Italian vibe, capturing the essence of the cuisine. The portion size was just right for me, but a neighboring gentleman thought it was a bit small. The lady of the house seemed to be experimenting with portion sizes based on feedback. For a male office worker, the portion might be a bit small. Ordering pasta a la carte costs 1500 yen, while a more substantial set is 1700 yen, which might be a bit pricey for everyday lunch. The restaurant has been open for a month, so they are probably getting into a groove operationally. I hope they will analyze the market in Tomakomai and tailor their menu and pricing to attract a specific customer base. I personally enjoy the food here, so I might visit occasionally. The 23-year-old Italian chef, Tonchini, is young and talented! The lady of the house is a strong and friendly woman. The passionate relationship between the couple adds an extra flair to the delicious dishes.

Resting, resting ٩(๑˃̶͈̀ ᗨ ˂̶͈́)۶ But... it's a rainy day due to a typhoon approaching. Last week, I stayed indoors because of the scorching heat, so today I decided to go out! I was interested in a restaurant called "TONCINI RISTORANTE ITALIANO" (Tonchini) on Instagram. By the way, Tonchini is their last name, haha. The "Lunch Set Menu" includes a pasta set and a focaccia sandwich set. Both sets come with bruschetta, frittata, and espresso. I ordered the "Long Pasta with Bolognese Sauce" with bruschetta and frittata. Each one had a different type of cheese - Parmesan and Pecorino. The Bolognese sauce was rich and flavorful, tasted like it had been simmered for a long time. It was really delicious. As Matchan mentioned, the set is a half size, so it might not be enough for big eaters like me. If you want to eat a lot, maybe ordering individual dishes would be better. I love Italian food, and I want to try all the menu items! After this, as you can probably guess, I went to have dessert ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧ My never-ending food adventures continue...

My wife and I went to this place that was recently featured by a celebrity. It was the Murakami Dental building, with parking available in the back. We ordered the pasta set, which came in a half size portion. My wife mentioned that the bacon was delicious but there was too little of it. The place was a bit crowded with one group of customers ahead of us and four groups behind us, so the service was a bit slow. We were served espresso while waiting, but my wife commented that the cup was only half full. Overall, we appreciated the friendly and attentive service from the husband and wife owners, and we hope this place becomes more popular in the future. The pasta set cost 1200 yen. Thank you for the meal!

Italian restaurant opened in a residential area behind the city hall in the center of Tomakomai. The restaurant is located in a renovated house where guests are required to take off their shoes before entering, creating a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. There is also a counter seat available for solo diners. The owner and chef, Tonchini, is from Italy and has opened a second restaurant in Japan with his wife. The menu includes various pasta dishes, with the owner's wife explaining the types of pasta used in the restaurant. The lunch set menu includes a choice of pasta, bruschetta, frittata, and espresso. The frittata and bruschetta are made with Parmigiano and Grana Padano cheese, offering a satisfying combination of flavors. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara is prepared in the authentic Italian style without cream, featuring a perfect balance of egg, cheese, pancetta, and black pepper. The espresso is light and easy to drink, although the pouring technique could be improved. Overall, the lunch set is satisfying, but the pasta portion may be small for adult men. The friendly and attentive service from the owner's wife and the handsome Italian chef, Tonchini, left a lasting impression. The restaurant aims to offer a casual yet authentic Italian dining experience with a focus on imported Italian ingredients and a cozy atmosphere. With delicious dishes and welcoming service, this restaurant is sure to become a popular spot in Tomakomai. Welcome to Tomakomai, Tonchini! Grazie mille for the delicious meal!

A new service called Riattaiitsu has started at a restaurant in Tomakomai, where you can order takeout or get delivery based on the amount spent. I found Tonchini in the restaurant, so I immediately called to place an order. When I called Riattaiitsu, an operator answered and told me they would contact the restaurant first before calling me back to take my order. I received my order at home promptly.
- Rigatoni Carbonara: This dish had a rich cheese flavor without any milk. The pasta was large and satisfying.
- Prosciutto Focaccia Sandwich: The focaccia here is very delicious. The sandwich with prosciutto was luxurious.
- Panna Cotta: A smooth panna cotta topped with a rich berry sauce. Everything was delicious! I was very satisfied. Can't find time to lose weight now, haha. Thank you for the meal! \(^^)/
