I checked out frozen hormone dishes in advance and wasn't particularly interested after seeing Tom-chan's review, but I felt intrigued by the horse sashimi and hamburger. I love raw meat, so I feel like having horse sashimi! The recommended item on the signboard in front of the store seems to be karaage, so this time I bought four pieces of karaage. They fry it after you order, so you can eat it hot and fresh. The 70 yen per piece Sakura Hime chicken karaage is voluminous, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt, tender, juicy, and delicious! The meat juice oozes out, and you can feel the high quality of the meat's flavor. This taste is addictive! The customer service was also good, leaving a positive impression. ☆☆☆ Next Episode Preview ☆☆☆ The Sakura Hime chicken karaage was definitely worth repeating, but I also want to try the crispy chicken!

The parent and child bowl is 380 yen, with an additional 50 yen for a large serving, making it 430 yen including tax. The image may be slightly larger than the actual portion, as the rice is served in a larger quantity. Unlike other beef or pork bowls where the ingredients and rice are served in a large portion for an additional 100 yen, this parent and child bowl consists of cut chicken thigh meat, sliced onions cooked in dashi soy sauce, and a semi-soft boiled egg on top. It reminds me of the katsu-don I had at a drive-in in Tsuruoka Village the other day. In areas like Abuta, Soubetsu, and Muroran, katsu-don is served with rice on the side or topped with a fried egg, reflecting unique local customs. Sun Meat Kimura's main store is likely in Oshamanbe, not too far from Muroran, so they may share similar practices. Eating the parent and child bowl by separating the chicken, onions, egg, and rice is quite delicious. The quality of the rice is also good, possibly using Hokkaido-grown Nanatsuboshi rice. I might get hooked on this bowl, so I want to keep checking it out. The large serving of rice is similar to the portion in Seicomart's hot chef donburi. If I were to order a regular serving, it might not be enough for me. I enjoyed it very much today. Thank you for the meal.

In Choumambe, there is a butcher shop with a slogan "Meat Soul" but it seems like they mainly sell frozen meat. It would be better if they also offered fresh or sashimi-grade meat. Unlike my usual butcher shop which sells mostly fresh meat, this shop stores frozen meat in a showcase. It's hard to tell how they handle the meat. The meat I bought had a processing date from a long time ago and the expiration date was next month. I also bought "Maruchou" and "Shirokoro Hormone" which were not seen at the main store. The most popular "Salt Hormone" had a processing date from a while back, which was disappointing. I tried the "Shirokoro" but it was different from the usual round shape and lacked the fat. It made me question if it was really "Shirokoro." It seems like others may have the same issue with this meat. Overall, there are some concerns with the meat quality at this shop.

I finally made it to this restaurant that I've been wanting to try since watching it on TV in August 2017. The sign outside says "meat chunks", but there are no chunks inside. They must be buying in bulk and portioning it out. I ordered the "thick-cut beef tongue" and "sagari". They were frozen, so I let them thaw at room temperature and cooked them just in time for dinner. They smelled delicious! Let's dig in... Mmm, so tasty! Goes well with both alcohol and rice. I'd love to try their galbi too! The beef tongue is thick and chewy, absolutely delicious. If I can have this at home, it's worth paying a bit more. Thank you for the meal!
