I planned to have lunch here but they were closed today, so I quickly searched for another restaurant. Although I had never been here before, I felt reassured entering the shop at Asahikawa Airport. I chose the "Aimori Curry" where you can choose two types of curry, and I selected chicken and bean curry and the hot shrimp curry. It was delicious. I will definitely come back again.

About a 15-minute drive from Asahikawa city, there is a tranquil place... It may be a bit hard to find the entrance, but once you open the door, it feels like entering a house. The menu offers a choice of three different curries served together. The vegetables are fresh and colorful, and the taste is delicious. I would love to go there again... The atmosphere is fantastic. It might be a good place for a date, haha.

When driving from Asahikawa Airport, you will find two buildings in a spacious parking lot. A curry restaurant and a bakery are lined up side by side. Inside the curry restaurant, the high ceiling and spacious interior are impressive. There are also about four seats on the balcony overlooking a field. I ordered the Aigake Curry after much deliberation. I couldn't decide and ended up ordering the following: Mild Yellow Shrimp Curry, Hot Red Shrimp Curry, and Clam and Corn Coconut Curry. A lemon topping is provided for flavor change halfway through. The spices were delightful and to my liking. The shrimp were also large and satisfying. There is also a branch of the same restaurant at Asahikawa Airport, but I heard that the menu is completely different, so I would like to try comparing the two. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Asahikawa has many wonderful cafes, and among them, Nokoya is my favorite. It is a stylish building with high ceilings, a sense of openness, and cleanliness. Outside the window, you can see the Daisetsuzan mountains, making it a very soothing place. There is also a branch at Asahikawa Airport. This month, I ordered the limited edition Curry Pork Ginger Curry for 1000 yen. I wanted to try the Aimori Curry, but it was too much for me. I opted for the Pork Ginger since I also wanted to have dessert. You can choose the amount of rice - small, normal, or large. It was served quickly as it wasn't busy. The presentation and plates are very stylish. The curry is unique and spicy. The salad was delicious too! Even the normal amount of rice was quite filling, but I wanted to try the dessert here! So, I also ordered the Strawberry and Pistachio Parfait for 950 yen. The parfait was also stylish. The view of the Daisetsuzan mountains from the window, delicious parfait! The soft serve and cheese cream were too delicious. Pure happiness♡ By the way, the coffee here is also very delicious. I think it was Old Cafe's original blend. They also sell rice, which is very tasty especially during the new rice season! Recently, they seem to have started a bakery, so I'll try their bread next time! Nokoya is a fantastic cafe in Asahikawa and highly recommended. I often visit for their parfait and coffee. It's a must-visit place for Daisetsuzan lovers.

At the Seibu Department Store in Ikebukuro, Hokkaido food events are a highlight. I chose the curry with tender beef tendon and daikon as the main ingredients, priced at 1,650 yen. The dish also included dry curry with plenty of root vegetables like burdock, thickly sliced daikon, seasoned egg, purple cabbage, potato salad, and marinated octopus. Despite the generous portion, the abundance of vegetables made it feel light and guilt-free. The quality of Hokkaido gourmet food truly stood out.

I indulged in ordering three varieties. I couldn't decide between daikon curry, plum keema, and mild shrimp with lemon squeeze, so I ended up enjoying each one separately... I regret not being able to mix in the lemon at the end, so I will have to go back again.

I went after a long time, but it was still delicious!! I ordered a monthly special natto curry, taro curry, and shrimp curry that I had last time, all three were delicious! I chose a normal amount of rice, but ended up with quite a bit of curry leftover, so next time I might go for the large rice portion (if I can finish it). My friend ordered a small rice portion with a two-curry mix, but also had a lot of curry left at the end. After visiting a few times, I realized that the shrimp curry is my favorite, so next time I might try ordering just the shrimp curry without mixing it with others! The staff is also very kind, making it a stress-free dining experience!

On the way to Higashikawa Michi-no-Eki Dozokan to collect stamps, I stopped by a spice curry restaurant that I had been curious about. The exterior looks like a warehouse, but inside is a lovely restaurant with a great view from the large windows. There were five types of curry available that day, and I wanted to try them all, so I chose the combination of three. The dishes arrived in just 8 minutes, each served with achar, sabzi, lettuce, cabbage, and tomato salad, beautifully arranged. The "3 kinds of curry" (1450 yen) included chicken bean curry, hot red shrimp curry, and rich sweet potato curry, all delicious. The "Aimori curry" (1300 yen) consisted of mild yellow shrimp curry and chicken and edamame keema curry, both flavorful and tasty. My personal recommendations are the hot red shrimp curry and the rich sweet potato curry. The menu changes with the seasons, so I look forward to trying different dishes in the future. Thank you, Nokoya, for the delicious meal!

There is a famous spice curry restaurant where you can enjoy the pastoral scenery. I had the "Aimori Curry"! My favorite is to mix the spicy curry with the mild curry and eat it. It spreads the happiness of spices called "spice" all over my mouth.

Having dinner in Asahikawa. I visited a farm coffee shop that I had seen somewhere before and thought it looked delicious. The shop also has a branch at the airport. It was a holiday, so I was worried if they still had curry left. Luckily, they did. And it was not crowded, only one other customer. I decided to try the 3 types of curry set for 1450 yen. You can choose the types of curry from a list. The price for curry is quite reasonable. The curry was served in about 5 minutes. It looked so appetizing! Let's dig in. First, the mushroom curry. Hmm, a bit salty. Maybe they put too much salt? The mushroom flavor was overwhelmed. I hope the other curries are okay. Next, the scallop green curry. Delicious! Spicy! This one is tasty. It's quite spicy, so if you don't like spicy food, you might want to avoid this. The scallops were chunky and delicious. Lastly, the mild yellow shrimp curry. This curry was amazing. Not spicy, but with a unique flavor. I wonder what spices they used. The large shrimp was satisfying. Mixing the curries and finishing them all. I'm full! Oh, the salad was crunchy, and the pickles were tasty too. Overall, the mushroom curry wasn't to my taste, but the other curries were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I found a spice curry restaurant in Hokkaido, where soup curry is popular. The vegetable-filled rasam is delicious. The side dishes are also tasty, with the accent of myoga being just right. It's not a short distance to get there, but I definitely want to eat there again.

Noka-ya Curry House - Challenge the Curry Rice with 3 Choices! It was delicious and satisfying, not too heavy. The interior was well-prepared for COVID-19 measures. The entrance was from the side, which was a bit confusing at first, but changing into slippers gave a clean feeling. They also offer desserts, including soft serve and parfait, which were great. #Asahikawa #AsahikawaGourmet #AsahikawaLunch #AsahikawaCafe #CurryRice #Dessert #SoftServe #Lunch #LunchCrawl #AsahikawaCurryRice #Parfait

Stayed on a Sunday from around 2 to 3 pm. Easily accessible. The atmosphere was surprising, as it appeared suddenly on a quiet rural road, looking like a large box. Both the exterior and interior were stylish, with many female customers. Ordered three types of curry (Ginger Pork, Keema Soup, Spicy Shrimp). The presentation was beautiful and pleasing. The menu seems to change monthly, and this was the July menu. The Ginger Pork was especially delicious. It was disappointing that the Shrimp Curry didn't taste like shrimp.

Delicious spiced curry with a variety of curries to enjoy, and the soft serve ice cream is also tasty so I want to try the parfait someday. The location is a beautiful cafe in a remote farmhouse or at the airport. I prefer ramen at the airport, so I use the main store for a leisurely lunch. It's not your typical curry shop, it's a luxurious curry where you can enjoy both the vegetables and the curry. I didn't know that "ukaya" is pronounced as "okay" instead of "ukaya". It still hasn't stuck with me.

Since becoming obsessed with green curry, I have been visiting several restaurants in search of curries made with coconut milk. This month, I was invited to lunch because the monthly curry featured green curry, so I decided to give it a try. ◆3 Curry Sampler 1450 yen (tax included) You can choose either A or B, each with a different combination of dishes. Hmm... I'm curious about the shrimp, but for a better photo, maybe I should go with the chicken and beans... (^-^; If my husband were here, we could order both and try them, but since I'm with a friend this time... I chose "A." - Chicken and Bean Curry - Japanese-style Green Curry - Pumpkin Curry in Love The bean curry had chunks of chicken and a strong spice flavor. The green curry I was looking forward to was light with a hint of milkiness and a strong salty taste, so it was a bit different from what I expected. The pumpkin curry was sweet with a mild level of spiciness. I think using this base to make green curry would be delicious. The restaurant is located in a stylish setting with a view of the countryside, which is nice, but it seems like a good idea to come here for the desserts as well.

The curry at Curry Cafe Nocaya is highly praised, and I finally had the chance to go and try it for myself. The restaurant is located at 384 Kamihyosonmura, Higashi-Asahikawa-cho, Asahikawa City. They are open from 11:00 to 20:30, closed on Thursdays. They offer parking and takeout options. The menu consists mainly of curry dishes, along with drinks, soft-serve ice cream, and sundaes. I tried the 3 Curry Plate which included Shrimp Curry (hot), Chicken and Bean Curry, and Spicy Summer Vegetable Curry. The portion was generous and the flavors were well-balanced. The Summer Vegetable Curry was my favorite, with a perfect blend of sweetness, acidity from tomatoes, and the creaminess of coconut milk. Overall, the curry was delicious and satisfying, although a bit on the expensive side.

An acquaintance often goes there and I checked it out. Ambiance: The restaurant has a bright and stylish atmosphere with a lot of wood elements, giving it an open and clean look. You can enjoy a view of nature through the large windows inside. People of all ages and genders visit the place. The friendly lady who serves customers seems very pleasant. Taste: I ordered the Aimore curry. Both dishes had a rich herbal flavor that made me feel refreshed. The spiciness was just right and delicious. It felt a bit bland, but maybe it's because there are no unnecessary ingredients added. Overall: It was a delicious curry with a noticeable love for curry and well-spiced flavors.

I finally mustered up the courage to visit this curry specialty restaurant run by a friend of a friend, which I had been hearing about since before it opened! The exterior and interior were just as lovely as I had heard. I also visited the airport branch with the same friend who had been eager to go. The menu seemed quite similar at both locations, with the main difference being that the main branch seemed to have a better selection of desserts. I ordered the "3 Variety Curry" (B) for 1450 yen, which comes with a choice of three different curries. Option A features chicken and bean curry, pumpkin and daikon curry, and shrimp curry (yellow or hot red). Option B includes red chicken and bean curry, pumpkin and daikon curry, and shrimp curry (yellow or hot red). I chose the yellow curry because I love coconut, while my friend went with option A. Unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate requests for spicier curry, and there weren't any extra spicy options available. The curry was served quickly and looked quite appealing with plenty of fresh vegetables on the side. However, the water from the raw vegetables was a bit off-putting, and the cabbage was a bit tough, lacking a cohesive texture. The curry itself was a bit mild in flavor, possibly due to the lack of spiciness, and I wasn't a fan of the pumpkin. I ended up ordering more curry halfway through. For dessert, I had the Mont Blanc parfait for 880 yen and a coffee for 400 yen (300 yen with a curry or parfait order). The dessert and coffee were delicious, and the presentation of the curry was quite stylish. The total bill came to 2630 yen. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with a touch of elegance.

There was nothing around, and suddenly a large warehouse-like store appeared along the street. It looked like a farm cooperative warehouse, but it was painted brown with a clean exterior. When you opened the bright red door, you had to take off your shoes before entering the interior of the store. It felt like you were visiting someone's home, but inside was a cafe restaurant. The interior had a warm log cabin-like feel, with a high ceiling and a spacious, open atmosphere. The menu seemed to focus on curry dishes. They served a bean and chicken curry, which was beautifully presented with stylish garnishes like pickled onions instead of Fukujinzuke or daikon radish. The curry looked visually appealing, and the combination of tender beans and large pieces of chicken was quite delicious, with a decent level of spiciness. The rice was also very tasty. They also offered desserts like parfaits, and I ordered an Affogato, which was soft serve ice cream topped with espresso. The soft serve was rich and creamy, and paired well with the bitterness of the espresso, making it delicious.

I had been wanting to visit this restaurant ever since I saw it in a magazine. When I arrived a little before the opening, I saw the manager who was also on the cover of the magazine outside! I had a little chat with him. This restaurant serves curry made with spices from "Ukegawa Farm DEN-EN" which grows rice in the outskirts of Asahikawa. The restaurant is located on the farm premises, surrounded by peaceful rural scenery. The warm and cozy interior made of wood allows you to enjoy your meal while gazing at the serene countryside views. I ordered the "3 kinds mixed curry B" (1,450 yen including tax) which allows you to enjoy three types of curry. I also ordered the dessert menu and had the "Strawberry and Pistachio Sundae" (650 yen) and a "Hot Coffee" (usually 400 yen, but discounted to 300 yen when ordered with curry). The curry was served in about 15 minutes. The 3 kinds mixed curry included Red Chicken Bean Curry, Saba Tomato Curry, and Mild Yellow Shrimp Curry. Each curry had its own unique taste and ingredients. I started by tasting each curry separately and then mixed them together as recommended by the staff. The dessert and coffee were also delicious. The service was friendly and the peaceful atmosphere of the restaurant made for a relaxing dining experience. For those visiting Asahikawa, there is also a branch of this restaurant at Asahikawa Airport (Nokkoya).
