There is a place near Asao where you can drink tapioca drinks. It's okay if it's 320 yen. We came by car at the request of the children. Subway Asao, a nearby row house where I used to live during my single days and have a strong attachment to. The row house has seen many changes over the years, but it remains a deep and beloved place for me. At the end of the row house is "Alleyway Snack Bar Isono". Upon my first visit, I was warmly greeted by the friendly owner and seated at the counter. The concept of the place is a "snack bar", with a system of "Charge 60min @ 500 yen" for all-you-can-eat snacks. There are various snacks displayed near the entrance, and each seat is equipped with a Famicon machine and monitor for unlimited gaming. The beer is priced at 500 yen per glass, which may not be the best value. I don't usually eat snacks, but I couldn't resist trying some at this place. The "Big Katsu" snack was surprisingly rich in flavor, making me crave something sweet to balance out the saltiness. The Tiroli Choco and Mugi Choco were perfect accompaniments for whiskey, and I could eat them endlessly. I had a couple of beers, enjoyed chatting with the owner about the local community, and the total bill came to 1,500 yen. I visited "Isano," a nostalgic alleyway snack bar located on the 1st floor of KO Building in 5-cho, 40-kita. It was my first visit, and I came here for the third round after Bird House. I arrived around 8:00 PM and sat in the raised seating area at the back. The place offers all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat snacks, which was nice and nostalgic. They even have unlimited play on the Famicom. I had a lot of fun, although I don't remember much due to being drunk. The staff's service was great, and the nostalgic atmosphere was enjoyable.
