The restaurant was called Fukuhara in Obihiro. They had a dish called "Flame" but it was not listed on the menu. I asked the staff if they had the spicy chicken that a friend had bought before, but they seemed hesitant at first. Eventually, they offered me non-spicy chicken with garlic and soy sauce. It was a bit expensive at 540 yen, but the chicken was very tender and had a mild flavor. The garlic was strong, so the car smelled of garlic afterwards. Overall, the chicken was delicious, especially when warmed up.

I visited the restaurant "Bimei Yakitori and Delicatessen Enma Fukuhara Nishi Obihiro Store" for the first time! I bought the Zangi that I haven't tried yet. I chose the three times spicier Zangi, as there was also a ten times spicier option, but I was afraid I couldn't handle it. I also bought some tsukune, which was on sale for 88 yen each. Let's dig in - The spicy Zangi has a red coating and is indeed spicy, but still manageable. I tried removing the coating and found that the spiciness is actually in the coating. A popular restaurant that has expanded to 5 locations in Obihiro in about 3 years. This time, I visited Fukuhara Nishi Obihiro branch. I love chicken dishes, so I have been to Inen's chicken dishes a few times, but personally I think the salted zangi is more delicious than the yakitori, so this time I ordered the salted zangi (500 yen) and took it home to eat. Last time I had it, it was chicken breast, but this time it was chicken thigh, which was a bit disappointing (I love chicken breast). As I continued to eat, the coating was crispy and the meat was juicy and tender, with a slightly strong seasoning, so it would be great as a snack with beer, I think.
