I have been suffering from summer fatigue, so I have been relying on delivery for meals lately. Finally, I was able to go shopping, but I still don't have the energy to cook, so I bought a takeout bento from the cheap supermarket next door. - Ebi-Tenjyu Soba Bento: 690 yen (limited time until the end of August) - Omurice Bento: 580 yen The Ebi-Tenjyu used to have a thicker and sweeter sauce before, but this time it came with two containers of lighter soba sauce. Maybe they made it lighter and refreshing for the summer menu, but I actually liked the previous sauce better. Come to think of it, both containers had soba sauce, so maybe the sauce for the Ebi-Tenjyu was already on the dish? If that's the case, then it's definitely not enough sauce! The Omurice Bento, on the other hand, was as delicious as always. Personally, I think this menu offers the best value for money among the non-daily specials on the bento menu. I will definitely be using it again soon. Thank you for the meal!

Recently, my go-to at this shop has been the daily lunch bento box (500 yen). When I went a bit earlier than usual this day, I saw that there were two options available, which was a first for me. I chose the yakisoba bento as I had never tried their yakisoba before. Although I also like omurice, the regular omurice bento is 580 yen, so I decided to pass on it this time. Normally, the omurice bento comes with my favorite shrimp fry, but this time it had croquettes which I'm not a fan of. Personally, I find the combination of yakisoba as the main dish with plenty of white rice a bit tough to handle. The other side dishes included boiled spinach, fried egg, potato salad, and a few french fries. As someone who prefers side dishes, it was a bit challenging to have the rice with just pickled plum and the sides provided. I ended up eating just a little bit of the rice with the yakisoba and saved the rest to eat later with a different main dish. The yakisoba itself was delicious. Overall, I found the combination of rice and yakisoba in this bento a bit difficult to enjoy outside of home. I will definitely visit this shop again in the future. Thank you for the meal!

It's the usual daily lunch bento box (500 yen). The contents were rice, sesame seeds, pickled plum, ginger pork, shumai, fried potatoes, shredded cabbage, carrots, broccoli, and pickled cherry blossoms on daikon. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal☆

On this day, I called ahead to order the "daily lunch bento" and "omurice bento" over the phone, and later went to pick them up. When I received the bento bags, I noticed that the large space on the top left of the "daily lunch bento" was empty for some reason. When I got home and tried to take a picture, I thought it looked messy as it was, so I reluctantly moved the sauce that was on top of the rice to fill the empty space before taking the photo. The sauce was tightly sandwiched between the transparent sheet covering the rice and the lid, so it wasn't originally out of place. Looking back, I should have taken a picture with the space empty to have evidence. Have you ever experienced hiding the situation when you were the victim, for some reason feeling flustered and concealing the evidence yourself? Well, even if I had left evidence, I couldn't really demand later to "give me what was supposed to be in this empty space." At this store, they usually make the bento after it's ordered, but only the "daily lunch bento" is pre-made and lined up in front of the register. So, it's likely that during the process of assembling the side dishes in a row, one was accidentally skipped before being sealed. The "daily lunch bento" for a good deal of 500 yen, so even if it was missing some, it was still worth the price, so I'll just accept that it was just bad luck this time. As for the omurice bento (580 yen), it was as delicious and good value as always. I won't be discouraged and will definitely use this place again. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I purchased the following two bento boxes: ■ Sansai Gohan Makunouchi Bento for 790 yen ■ Healthy Mackerel Miso Bento for 530 yen. The contents of the Makunouchi Bento include sansai rice, grilled salmon, shrimp tempura, sweet potato tempura, tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), fried chicken, simmered vegetables, boiled spinach, potato salad, and pickled radish. This bento has a variety of side dishes and the paper box packaging gives it a touch of luxury, so I was very satisfied. ☆ The contents of the Healthy Bento include mackerel miso stew, simmered vegetables, tamagoyaki, boiled spinach, potato salad, a small portion of rice, sesame seeds, and pickled plum. The simmered vegetables contain daikon radish, ganmodoki (tofu fritters), konjac, tied kelp, and carrots. This time, the mackerel miso didn't have additional miso sauce, so it felt a bit lacking in flavor. I will definitely use this place again soon. Thank you for the meal♪

On this day, I chose the "Furano wine-marinated steak bento" (880 yen) and the "daily special bento" (500 yen), which are the featured items on the menu. The steak bento included steak, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, potato salad, and instead of the usual shredded cabbage salad, it had side dishes of "spinach ohitashi" and "simmered dried daikon radish". Both are healthy vegetables, so it was fine. Although the bento is a bit pricey for takeout, it is quite tasty and a good option for enjoying steak in a casual way. The daily special bento on this day was a zangi bento, which consisted of two large zangi pieces and three slightly smaller pieces of karaage. The remaining items were tamagoyaki, spinach ohitashi, and pickled sakura daikon. I like zangi, but I prefer a variety of side dishes in my bento, so this combination wasn't exactly to my liking. Therefore, I froze one large zangi and two small karaage pieces for later, and instead heated up Seicomart's "salted mackerel" side dish from the freezer to have as my main dish. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I was originally planning to have a healthy bento with pork cutlet, but it seems like the menu options for bentos have been significantly reduced. So, I ended up choosing the "Healthy Bento with Mackerel Miso Stew" (530 yen) and the "Daily Bento" (500 yen) that I had before. I noticed that the Healthy Bento didn't come with okra with the mackerel miso stew, and the potato salad didn't have cherry tomatoes like last time, so I was a bit disappointed to see that the contents had decreased slightly. When I checked the new menu, I saw that the photos also showed the reduced items, so it seems like it wasn't just a mistake. I really enjoyed the combination of mackerel miso stew and whole okra from the last time I tried it, so it's a shame. Maybe this is also due to the impact of the coronavirus? It's somewhat understandable. The Daily Bento on this day included rice, pork cutlet, croquette, fried egg, shrimp fry, spaghetti under the side dishes, potato fries, simmered tofu, potato salad, and chopped pickled ginger. Personally, I felt like the change from hamburger to croquette was a bit of a downgrade. But I was happy to see my favorite shrimp fry included again. Before going out for shopping, I received a drink set that I won in a Twitter campaign, which was delivered to my house. I chilled it in the fridge and enjoyed it as a post-meal drink after having the bento. It was unrelated to the restaurant, but I wanted to share a photo of it as well. (*^o^*)

On this day, I ordered the daily special bento box (500 yen) and the usual omurice bento box (580 yen). The daily special bento box is only available on weekdays, excluding Sundays and holidays. It is probably limited in quantity. The calendar previews the contents, and on this day, it was the Mega Keema Curry bento box. I think the main dish is curry, but it turned out to be just a little bit of keema curry on top of the rice, almost like a sprinkle. I was a bit surprised, but I was happy to find my favorite shrimp fry on it. The contents included rice, keema curry, hamburger, fried egg, shrimp fry, spaghetti underneath the side dishes, shredded cabbage salad (French dressing), and potato salad. Among the bento boxes at this shop, the hamburger bento box is set at a slightly higher price compared to other side dishes. So, I was expecting something homemade, but it was quite similar to the typical bento box. I was a bit puzzled as to why it was priced higher than other side dishes, but it was not bad at all. In terms of cost performance, it was a pretty good bento box compared to others. The omurice bento box had the usual contents of omurice, shrimp fry, cream croquette, fried chicken, spaghetti underneath the side dishes, simmered dried daikon radish, potato salad, carrots, and broccoli. It was also good value for money and delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This is a takeout-only bento shop located along Sankakuten Street in Higashi Ward. There is no dining space available. Next to it, there is a discount supermarket, so I sometimes buy bento here while shopping there. About a year ago, they had a break time which made it difficult for me to use the shop. However, recently they changed their opening hours and eliminated the break time, making it easier for me to visit again. I used to enjoy eating out after visiting the hospital, but due to the pandemic, I can't dine out as often. So, to lift my spirits, I have been buying bento from here more frequently lately. This time, I purchased the Healthy Miso-Simmered Mackerel Bento for 530 yen and the Aged Three-Element Pork Loin Cutlet Curry for 790 yen. The Healthy Bento contains miso-simmered mackerel, okra, simmered vegetables, rolled omelet, boiled spinach, potato salad, cherry tomatoes, a small portion of rice, and pickled plum. I chose this bento because I have been on a "simmered dish craving" trend recently. The term "healthy" in this bento refers to the small portion of rice, the inclusion of simmered dishes, and the absence of fried foods. The Aged Pork Cutlet Curry was delicious, but the pork cutlet itself was not as impressive as I had hoped. I think the curry was tasty, but the pork cutlet did not meet my high expectations. I would love to see shrimp fry curry on the menu as well. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

The opening hours have been changed from 10:00 to 11:00. Please note that there is no longer a break, and we have returned to continuous operation. Today, I ordered the following bento boxes in the evening: Mountain vegetable rice bento box for 790 yen and Grilled salted Atka mackerel with spicy cod roe bento box for 540 yen. The contents of the Mountain vegetable rice bento box include mountain vegetable rice, grilled salmon, shrimp tempura, sweet potato tempura, rolled omelette, fried chicken, simmered dish, spinach ohitashi, potato salad, cherry tomato, and pickles. The Grilled salted Atka mackerel with spicy cod roe bento box has rice topped with spicy cod roe sauce and chopped seaweed, and side dishes such as grilled salted Atka mackerel, sweet potato tempura, fish cake tempura, spinach ohitashi, and pickles. The spicy cod roe sauce didn't taste quite right, perhaps because it was reheated in the microwave. The spinach ohitashi sometimes varies to simmered dried daikon radish depending on the day. The sweet potato tempura may also be replaced with pumpkin tempura. Looking back at the photos, I realized that the shrimp tempura and pickles had shifted during the trip home, so they were scattered. I should have arranged them properly before taking the photos. I was hungry and hastily ate without checking after taking the photos as soon as I got home, so I didn't notice. I apologize for that. I plan to visit again soon. Thank you for the meal.

The last time I used it after a long time, I felt once again that it was cheap and delicious, so I decided to use it again without waiting too long. This time, I ordered two types of bento that I had eaten before and thought were delicious. By the way, I ate the Ebi-Tenju as lunch immediately, and I stored the Steak Ju in the refrigerator and ate it as dinner by reheating it. ☆ However, I think this might be my first time ordering the Steak Ju (780 yen) because I have always ordered the Steak Bento (880 yen) before. The Steak Ju comes with fried potatoes, broccoli, and chopped pickled ginger in addition to the steak. Although the steak is not quite like a real steak from a famous bento shop, I think it is at the level of the meat from a reasonably priced steak chain store. If you think of it as a takeout bento, it is a sufficient level. You can easily enjoy the feeling of eating steak. It's also nice that the steak sauce comes separately. The difference between bento and ju is whether there is a vegetable salad (shredded cabbage topped with corn and French dressing) and potato salad, and if boiled carrots are included in the warm vegetables. (On the other hand, pickled ginger is not included in the bento) There is a 100 yen difference, so whether it is worth it depends on your mood at the time. On this day, I had frozen warm vegetables in the refrigerator, so I decided to go with the ju to eat them together. ☆ The Special Ebi-Tenju (690 yen) includes 5 pieces of shrimp tempura, sweet potato tempura (sometimes pumpkin tempura), green bean tempura, and half a boiled egg. The regular Ebi-Tenju (580 yen) has only 3 pieces of shrimp tempura, so the price difference is 110 yen for 2 extra shrimp tempura. In this case, I recommend the Special Ebi-Tenju. If you don't need 5 pieces of shrimp tempura at once, you can add it to the next meal as a side dish at home. ☆ Both were very delicious♪ヾ(≧∇≦) Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I think there will be more opportunities to use takeout as we are not able to eat out much. I will visit again soon. Thank you for the meal☆ ※The prices are inclusive of tax.

I haven't used this place in a while. I used to come here occasionally when shopping at the nearby discount supermarket Marco, but they took a break last May. I used to come here for a late lunch after 2pm, but I haven't had the chance to use it much anymore. The contents of the omurice bento (580 yen) include omurice, shrimp fry, cream croquette, zangi, potato salad, simmered dried daikon radish, carrots, and broccoli, with flavorless spaghetti underneath the side dishes. The side dish "simmered dried daikon radish" sometimes changes to "simmered okara" or "spinach ohitashi" depending on the day. It's convenient and delicious. I'll definitely use it again soon. Thank you for the meal☆

This restaurant, located along Sankaku-dori, is a takeout-only bento chain. Next to it is a famous budget supermarket called "Maruko," where I sometimes stop by to pick up a bento after shopping. I usually buy the Omurice bento (now priced at 580 yen), but this time I decided to try the limited-time Tokachi Shimizu Gourmet Ju (690 yen) and the Special Ebi Tempura Ju (690 yen). The Tokachi Shimizu Gourmet Ju consists of black zangi, grilled Tokachi beef, and asparagus tempura on rice, with minced pickled ginger on the side. While it looks luxurious in the product photo, in reality, the rice showing through gives it a somewhat sparse appearance. I felt it could use a couple more side dishes to enhance its presentation. The taste, however, was good. The Special Ebi Tempura Ju includes five shrimp tempura, asparagus tempura, sweet potato tempura, and half a boiled egg, with a separate serving of tempura dipping sauce. The sweet potato tempura may sometimes be replaced with pumpkin tempura. This one feels more luxurious despite being the same price, thanks to the generous amount of shrimp. It was delicious. Starting from 5/20, the store has introduced a midday break and changed its business hours to 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-LO20:45. It's rare for a bento shop to have a midday break – perhaps due to a shortage of staff or because the period from 14:00 to 16:00 is a slow time with not enough customers to justify the labor costs. I'll need to check the hours before stopping by in the future. I'll definitely be back to try more. Thank you for the meal!

This is a retro review. This shop is located along Sankaku-ten Street in Higashi Ward. I sometimes stop by when shopping at the cheap supermarket next door. On this day, I purchased the limited-time "Cheese Tteokgalbi Bento" (590 yen). Cheese tteokgalbi is still popular, isn't it? I haven't had the authentic one yet, but I love cheese so I welcomed it. This bento is no longer available, but the bentos here are quite delicious, so I'm thinking about what to eat next time. Thank you for the meal♪

This shop is a takeout bento shop located along the Sankaku Ten Street in Higashi Ward. They offer a Special Ebi-Tenju (shrimp tempura rice bowl) for 680 yen, which includes 5 shrimp tempura, asparagus tempura, and half a boiled egg. They also have a Grilled Shirohokke (salt-grilled white hokke fish) bento for 450 yen, which comes with grilled shirohokke, chikuwa tempura, kabocha tempura, spinach ohitashi, and rice topped with "nankotsu chicken soboro." You can also choose from mentaiko or flaked salmon. Both options are decent considering the price. Thank you for the meal. This summer, I took a break from posting on Tabelog due to summer fatigue, and just when I thought I could start going out again, the earthquake happened. My neighborhood in Higashi Ward experienced a strong 6 on the seismic intensity scale. My TV fell and the screen cracked. The midnight earthquake traumatized me, causing me to wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble sleeping, making me unable to go out again. However, I am slowly starting to go out again, so I will resume posting reviews on Tabelog. Thank you for your continued support.

This shop is located along Sankaku-ten Street in Higashi Ward. Next to it is a discount grocery store called "Maruko," and sometimes I come here to buy lunch boxes on my way back from shopping. My favorite item to buy here is the omurice bento (550 yen). In addition to the omurice, the side dishes include shrimp fry, cream croquette, zangi, potato salad, carrots, broccoli, and pasta at the bottom. There are also other side dishes that change depending on the season, and this time it was simmered dried daikon radish. Sometimes it may come with spinach ohitashi or okara stew instead. Considering the reasonable price, I think the contents are quite luxurious. I believe the taste is also one of the best among take-out bento chains. I will definitely use this shop again. Thank you for the meal☆

This is a limited-time menu. I have tried it a few years ago, and the content seems to change slightly each year, which is a nice touch. I had the "Negi Shio-dare Gyutan Bento" for 590 yen. Well, it's just a bento shop's gyutan, so I didn't have high expectations. It's okay. Honestly, it felt more like just for the mood, but since it's a limited-time offer, I thought it was worth it considering the price. I also bought some Zangi Okaki which was on sale, maybe it's a souvenir from Hokkaido? The taste was okay. They were individually packed in small portions, so it might be good for giving as souvenirs to a small group. I didn't praise it much this time, but I do like bento boxes, so I will use this place again. Thank you for the meal♪

This shop is located next to the discount supermarket where I occasionally go shopping, so I use it sometimes. The item I buy most often is this omurice bento. The side dishes include shrimp fry, cream croquette, zangi, potato salad, boiled spinach, and for accompaniments, carrots, broccoli, and pasta are laid underneath. (Sometimes boiled okra is included instead of spinach) When there are various side dishes accompanying the omurice, it gives a feeling of a children's lunch, which makes me happy. The price increased from 530 yen to 550 yen a while ago, but it still feels like a good deal. I wonder if the tartar sauce packet wasn't included before? Did it stop being included during the price increase? Or was it forgotten? I think all the bento boxes here are delicious on average. I will definitely use it again soon. Thank you for the meal!

This is a retroactive review. I think the standout product from Bentos is their steak bento. It may be a bit pricey as a takeout bento, but sometimes when I feel like treating myself a little luxuriously, I buy it. Compared to a certain well-known chain's steak bento, the deliciousness is on a different level. Please note that the flyer and store images are recent. I will definitely use their services again. Thank you for the meal! :)
