The sweet potatoes are made in between the main job, so the restaurant seems to be open irregularly on some days and closed on others. The taste is different when eaten hot and when eaten cold, making it doubly delicious. It's recommended to try both ways. They only sell sweet potatoes, and the type of sweet potato available changes depending on the day. I would like to try sweet potatoes of other varieties as well.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant since reading the review by reviewer Wu-ta. Every time I tried to go, it was closed and I never had the chance. But by chance, when I was nearby, it was open! I couldn't resist and went inside. There were three types of sweet potatoes available: Anno-imo, Beni-azuma, and Beni-haruka. Beni-azuma was 500 yen, while Beni-haruka and Anno-imo were 600 yen. It was a bit pricey, but still reasonable compared to other places selling roasted sweet potatoes on the street. The shop operates until the last Sunday of April and will reopen in winter. The owner mentioned that his main job is at a tire shop, but during the winter when it's slow, he enjoys making roasted sweet potatoes as a hobby. I bought one of each type that day and had them as a snack at 3 o'clock. Beni-haruka and Anno-imo were soft, sweet, and delicious. Beni-azuma had a nostalgic taste. I will definitely visit again this winter. Thank you for the meal!

After work, I was running through a residential area and came across a sign for roasted sweet potatoes. I was surprised to see a roasted sweet potato shop had opened up in this neighborhood. I decided to visit the shop another day. Inside, the shop was more like a cafe than a sweet potato shop, offering both takeout and dine-in options. There was a lady standing next to the sweet potato roasting equipment, and she told me they only had three types of sweet potatoes available that day. She recommended a new variety called "Silk Sweet," so I bought that along with some Satsumaimo. The lady was quite funny, talkative, and a bit scatterbrained, which added to the cozy atmosphere. When I got home, my family and I enjoyed the sweet potatoes. The Silk Sweet variety had a smooth texture and a sweet taste similar to Kintoki. The skin was thin and soft. The Satsumaimo was sweet and fluffy inside, but the skin was tough and slightly bitter, so we couldn't eat it. The shop is only open during the winter when sweet potatoes are in season, so it might be a while before we can visit again, but if we're in the area, we'll definitely return. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Residential area in Shinkawa, Kita-ku, Sapporo. Why here? A sweet potato specialty store? It seems like it just opened. Passed by in my car, saw a side street... on my way. It's before dinner, but I'm a bit hungry from skiing, so I decided to try the sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, the light turned green before the 3-minute timer was up, so I had to go. The building looks like a regular house turned into a store. There were no customers inside, just the owner and his mother sitting at a table. I greeted them and asked if they were open, feeling a bit worried. The interior was bright and there was a sweet potato roaster in the back. They offer different types of sweet potatoes for sale, each at a considerable price. I chose the cheapest option, the "Kurenai Haruka." It's not too big, but if I eat the whole thing, I won't be able to eat dinner. I took a bite with the skin on. It was delicious! Why are sweet potatoes so tasty? I enjoyed the moist and sweet flavor. I felt happy. I finished it and went back home. Burp. It's a must after eating sweet potatoes.
