Komoriku in Susukino is a great little hidden gem. They have a wide selection of Japanese sake, including my recent favorite, Kazeno Mori. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is welcoming - overall, it's a fantastic place to relax. They accept credit cards and it's a non-smoking establishment.

The photo shows a start with a tuna yamakake appetizer and recommended cloudy sake. Afterwards, we enjoyed recommended sake with horse mackerel namero and sea bream tempura. It's a place where you can enjoy delicious Japanese sake. The appetizers also did not disappoint. My husband and I had a great time just getting drunk. We will definitely go back ❤️

After a long time, I went out with friends and had potato salad, yuba rolls, seafood salad, fried shishito peppers, fried lily bulbs, fried conger eel, steamed turnip with sea bream and shirako, oysters, and finished with ochazuke. I had about two glasses of beer and sake each, spending a little over 10,000 yen alone. Everything was really delicious, but I'm not sure if it was worth the price. However, since everything was so delicious, I might go back one more time to make a final judgment.

I had been curious about a restaurant with a name I couldn't read. It seemed fancy and intimidating. Whether he knew or not, my husband made a reservation for the chef's special course, so I waited excitedly. First, we were served an appetizer of pickled radish with cream cheese and sea urchin tofu. Mixing radish was so innovative. At home, we usually pair it with smoked cheese or tomatoes for caprese. I'm learning something new. Oh, here comes oysters marinated in soy sauce and oil. A ruthless battle between them. The winner is... Soy sauce marinated! The clam soup is rich in flavor and delicious. The sashimi includes botan shrimp, bluefin tuna, and red snapper. The freshness and sweetness are incredible. There's even a scallop and sea urchin cocktail. It looks too beautiful to eat, but I can't resist. As soon as we finished eating, the waitress asked, "Would you like the fried shrimp heads?" My husband's face lit up. Yes, please! He loves shrimp heads. I'll share mine with him. The smoked mackerel has a delicate smoky aroma and is served with wasabi, mustard, and bonito salt. The sea bream and red snapper with turnip sauce are light and refreshing. My husband enjoyed the conger eel tempura while I passed on it (I'm not a fan). I savored the sea bream rice soup and finished with a fruit dessert. Our stomachs were about to burst. The selection of sake was extensive, and after much deliberation, my husband chose Fukuwazou, a junmai sake. They even had princess plum wine with vanilla flavor. Amazing. There's also pomegranate flavor. Let's try the peach wine from Hououbita. We couldn't stop. We were initially hesitant customers, but before we knew it, our glasses were full. The restaurant was lovely, with proper social distancing and guests quietly enjoying themselves. I'm grateful to my husband for bringing me here for my birthday and to my daughter for kindly seeing us off. Thank you٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

The restaurant is located on one floor of a large building, with a trendy bar-like atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of sake, shochu, beer, whiskey, and other alcoholic beverages. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The beer is a Yochi-style IPA, made with fresh hops from Yochi and even used at Disneyland. It has a fruity aroma and a delicious malt flavor. The appetizer is shrimp with seaweed. It's decent. The Tachipon is average, but made with good ingredients. The charcoal-grilled braised pork is incredibly delicious. It's juicy and tender with a smoky flavor. The seasoning also pairs well with alcohol. The seafood nori roll contains tuna, mackerel, cucumber, and white fish maybe? The rice is mixed with red vinegar maybe? It's okay. The place is stylish, the food is tasty, and they have a wide selection of drinks, but the value for money is not the best.

This place also has a great selection of Japanese sake. There is a knowledgeable female staff member who can help you choose while you consult with her. But they also recommend some scary expensive options, so don't hesitate to ask how much it costs! Even if they recommend something like a Junmai Daiginjo from Juyondai, it's not easy to order just like that (;´∀`) The "Miyoshi Junmai Ginjo" is 100cc for 550 yen. It's fruity but not too sweet, with a gentle flavor. A must-order from the menu is the homemade "Simmered Mackerel" for 800 yen. The vinegar isn't too strong, it's just right. It's written on the menu as the perfect balance, not too much or too little. The color is also a beautiful pink ♡ The service is friendly, keeping a good distance without being too close or too far, so even if your companion says annoying things, it doesn't come off as rude. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm. It's a place where you can enjoy drinking like an adult.

This is a very cozy izakaya where it's totally fine to go alone. It's not the type of place where you devour your food, but rather enjoy delicious dishes with your drinks. I personally think it would be a good choice for a "second stop" when going out. It may be a bit pricey, but I believe it's worth it for the great service and tasty food.

I have already visited this restaurant countless times. It always gives the impression of attracting many sake lovers (although they also offer other drinks). Female solo customers are also frequent visitors. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and there is always a smiling female manager. There are a total of 45 seats, including about 10 seats at the counter. In front of the counter, there is a grilling area where you can see the grilling process up close (there is a glass partition so smoke does not come towards you). Even for sake beginners, if you tell the staff your rough preferences such as "refreshing, rich, aged, dry, umami, cold/hot, region, brand, etc.", they will select a sake that suits your taste. Even when visiting for business trips, you can enjoy mainly sake from Hokkaido or reminisce about the sake from your hometown. (You can also change the temperature of the sake from cold to warm as you drink?) The dishes are always delicious, and it seems like they select and cook the best ingredients of the season. I often order grilled dishes out of curiosity to see the grilling process. There are also desserts available after the meal (including unique items like dried persimmon with butter). As mentioned by others, it would be great if the recommended dishes could be written on paper or a whiteboard, as it's hard to remember them when you're already a bit tipsy. If you are a sake lover who wants to savor the flavors of the season, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
