French bistro, dining bar? Wine bar? I'm not sure how the first and second floors are used. I met the owner at a liquor store and decided to visit because I didn't have plans for the day. I was led to the second floor, although I'm not sure if that's where we were supposed to be. I ordered the more extensive course menu, and a 10R Novoli Kerner wine. The food was a clear and distinct French style, somewhat old-fashioned. The lighting in the restaurant made the photos a bit unclear.

The renovated Cardinal on the 1st floor has transformed into a beautiful bar, with no trace of its former self. From the autumn menu, they offer a dish of thick Hokkaido clams steamed in a bucket, served with bread for dipping into the soup at the bottom of the bucket (it's irresistible). The 2nd floor offers a calm atmosphere with course meals featuring pasta, meat, and French-style mixed rice. Prices start from 4000 yen for omakase courses, with options for customization. The restaurant is now non-smoking, so smokers are recommended to dine on the 1st floor. The chef remains the same, ensuring consistently delicious food. It's a good idea to choose between the floors depending on your mood - 1st floor for a lively atmosphere, and 2nd floor for a more refined dining experience. Drink all you want is only available on the 2nd floor for private parties. On the 1st floor, prices start from 2500 yen for drinks only, and 4500 yen with food included.

I visited a longstanding hidden gem restaurant that I hadn't been to in about 15 years. This place has been around for many years, probably over 30 years. The last time I came, I think it was a set course, but this time I decided to order individual items. It's been a while, so I wonder if things have changed? I remember coming here about 15 years ago... It was a bit of a confusing place back then, and it still is now. The entrance to the restaurant is the same as the entrance to the Cardinal on the second floor. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm and different from before, which makes sense, considering it's been 15 years. The recommended dishes and regular menu items were presented, and after my second beer, the appetizers arrived. The staff, consisting of two people, took some time to bring out the dishes. The salad arrived 30 minutes after ordering, and the recommended pork steak with mashed potatoes was quick. Wine is a good choice in a place like this, so I selected a glass recommended by the staff. The omelet took too long, about an hour after ordering. The pizza also took over an hour, which was a bit too long. Overall, the taste was decent, but the wait time was too long. It might be better to order a set course in a place like this. Personally, I would say it was a bit disappointing.

We used this restaurant for a banquet. Despite initial doubts because it was a banquet, the food was excellent, delicious, and stylish. There were mostly men in our group, but the women were very happy. In addition, the wine at the banquet was surprisingly delicious for an all-you-can-drink option. The service for drinks at the banquet was quick and satisfying. However, our lively banquet may have been a bit too noisy for other customers. We would like to visit again in a smaller group next time. Thank you for the meal.

Well, of course, we moved on to the second place (lol) and visited Cardinal upstairs from Kushi Bozu. Inside, there were three male customers, giving off a calm and relaxed vibe. I ordered a glass of white wine for around 500 yen (I asked for a dry one, so the price is unclear), while my lunch friend got a non-alcoholic cocktail with soda and Western pear for 480 yen. The appetizers included marinated paprika, crepes with buckwheat flour, oil-soaked mushrooms, and Iberico chorizo for 500 yen, as well as garlic toast for 500 yen. For the main dish, we ordered the risotto with green vegetables and basil flavor for 850 yen. The unexpected surprise was the salami that came with bread! I enjoyed placing the salami and leaves on the crispy bread, making for a perfect combination with drinks. The garlic toast was delicious with a generous amount of butter and garlic flavor. Lastly, the risotto with warm vegetables like broccoli and green beans was served piping hot and had a rich flavor with plenty of basil and Parmesan cheese. Overall, the atmosphere was like a bar, and we enjoyed delicious food and wine. I would like to come back with more friends to try out more menu items like pizza, tacos, salads, pasta, seafood, and meat dishes. It was a delightful dining experience. Thank you!

It is said to be commonly used for wedding receptions and other second parties. I have been there a few times, but the compatibility didn't seem to be very good. The variety of dishes is plentiful as it is international cuisine, but there is no particular recommendation... The price of drinks doesn't seem to be very cheap, and the taste is okay. The level of service is average. It may be considered good in Obihiro. The location is hard to find, and it has a hidden atmosphere, but it always seems crowded with young people, so there may not be a calm atmosphere. It may be good for a group of 4-6 people to have a lively time.

We decided to have a second party where there was all-you-can-drink and everyone could order whatever food they wanted. There were many delicious dishes with an ethnic flavor, such as chicken. We tried some unique dishes like fresh spring rolls, and the price was quite reasonable with the all-you-can-drink option. Even though we didn't eat much at the second party, everyone was drinking a lot, maybe because there were over 20 people. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice with a foreign feel to the restaurant. It's located down a small alley, a bit hard to find.

The restaurant doesn't disappoint under the category of "izakaya" with a variety of dishes such as fresh spring rolls, tacos, Caesar salad, takitos jambalaya, and fried rice. They even offer kimchi stew for group gatherings. Each table already has sweet chili sauce and jalapenos. The decor is ethnic? No, it's more like international. It's visually appealing. While it may seem geared towards young people, there are also adults enjoying drinks at the counter. We used it for a company party and it was well received by our boss, so it's enjoyable for a range of age groups. The flavors are tailored for Japanese taste buds and are delicious. However, the location may be a bit hard to find. It's off the main street, past Mamma Pizza Cafe, on the right. Be careful of the touts along the way!

It's perfect for banquets. The menu has a good variety, so it's great for going with friends. You can eat and drink what you like, and the seasoning is fresh compared to regular izakayas. The prices are also reasonable, so you can have a lot of fun when you go occasionally.

I attended a tasting event for beet beer at Sawayama Farm in Shimizu Town. The beer was delicious, but I was also excited about the chef's dishes! The white sauce, finished with espuma, was made with cheese from Shiawase Cheese Factory in Ashoro, and it was incredibly tasty. I would love to visit again during regular business hours.
