◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【Second Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【August 2015】 This is my second post, so I will briefly review four items I purchased this time: ■ Bakudan Onigiri (Salmon Rice Ball) Weight: Actual measurement 301g This jumbo rice ball is wrapped in seaweed. Sato Suisan's "Gourmet Onigiri" is around 380 yen for 265g (actual measurement), which is 35g larger than the jumbo "Gourmet Onigiri." Arinko-san's regular salmon onigiri is 150g, and the jumbo is 225g (actual measurement), which is 75g larger than the jumbo. The regular is priced at 200 yen, and the jumbo at 305 yen. The salmon is low in salt, but the taste and amount of salmon are a bit lacking, so the price is the selling point. Price: 204 yen (including 8% consumption tax) ■ Peaches from Fukushima Prefecture ★4.0 They are reasonably large, very juicy, sweet, and delicious. Price: 645 yen for a pack of 4 (including 8% consumption tax) ■ Katsuo Tataki (Seared Bonito) The taste is good for the price advertised. Price: 205 yen (including 8% consumption tax) ■ Namiki Horikawa Kamaboko (Fish Cake) 2 pieces When grilled, it tastes even better. Price: 268 yen (including 8% consumption tax) The peaches from Fukushima were much more cost-effective last year, but they are still delicious. The "Bakudan Onigiri" has a sense of cost-effectiveness, and the taste is decent. It's perfect for when you're hungry. ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【First Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆ I enjoyed delicious and affordable peaches from Fukushima. Daiichi is a local supermarket in Hokkaido!! 【August 2014】 Daiichi is a local supermarket in Hokkaido, with its headquarters in Obihiro in eastern Hokkaido. They have stores in Asahikawa in northern Hokkaido and Sapporo in central Hokkaido. There are four stores in Sapporo. I visited one in the Hakkō area of Nishi-ku, Sapporo, right in front of JR Hakodate Chuo Station. You can check the exact location on Tabelog. I parked my car in the spacious parking lot in front of the store. The store is still new and clean. When I visited the fruit section, I found that the peaches were very affordable. There were peaches from multiple prefectures, and although the prices were the same, the sizes varied significantly by prefecture. Among them, there was a particularly large and juicy peach that caught my eye. It was the "Peach from Fukushima." I bought two packs of 4 each. ■ Peaches from Fukushima Prefecture ★4.2 Large, very juicy, sweet, and delicious. Price: 429 yen for a pack of 4 (including 8% consumption tax) Sometimes I see TV commercials for "peaches from Fukushima." They are affordable and delicious. If the prices are the same, the peaches from Fukushima are overwhelmingly better. I hope Fukushima Prefecture continues to produce delicious peaches and overcomes the challenges posed by the nuclear power plant. Thank you for the delicious meal.
