Long time no see, Koreana-san. It's been a while. Actually, I've been learning Korean, and I know the teacher who is a Japanese person. We talked at a Christmas party a few years ago. The Korean language teacher is Japanese, but Koreana-san is a Japanese-speaking Korean lady, so it's interesting to hear them mix Japanese and Korean while talking. There is no parking lot. The restaurant doesn't have a parking lot. But Koreana-san said it's okay to park at the supermarket in front of the restaurant... I wonder if that's true... Some people were parking on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant... I'm not sure about that. Please check it out if you go there. The menu is a bit confusing. All the dishes are Korean cuisine, and I want to try them all when I go to Korea... but when I saw the prices, I was a bit surprised. The prices on the wall are higher than the ones listed on the menu. It turns out they included the consumption tax in the prices on the wall. It's quite interesting. Today they are serving this water. They said it's a new water they started serving today, so please try it. The water looked the same as yesterday's water, but there was a secret in the container they served it in. When I checked the QR code on the bottle, I found out that this bottle costs 15,000 yen. There was a stick inside the bottle. It's a new water introduced on April 9th. Seafood Pancake for 800 yen. I ordered another main dish, but I really wanted to try the pancake. They asked if I wanted it with kimchi or seafood, and I chose seafood even though it's 100 yen more expensive. It was interesting that even the regular one had squid in it. Koreana-san is really funny. The sauce is really good. It looks spicy, but it's not. It has an original soy sauce-based flavor. It's delicious. I tried making it at home with Korean flour, but I couldn't get the sauce right. By the way, I thought this was called Pajeon in Korea, but I learned it's a different dish. It's a type of pancake, just like Pancake. Bulgogi Set for 880 yen. This was the main dish. When you think of Bulgogi, you might think of Costco's Bulgogi. But this one was different. It's red. The taste of red pepper was different. It had a powdery red pepper taste. It was not spicy at first, but the spiciness came later as you eat more. This tasted like it came from Korea. It was red, but not spicy at first. As you eat more, the spiciness kicks in. It was delicious. The meat was flavorful. I put the Bulgogi on the rice... it was delicious. The rice might look small, but it's quite a lot. It has a sweet and savory flavor that goes well with the rice. But it was lurking there... what is it? When I looked closer, it was shiitake mushrooms... Do they put shiitake mushrooms in Korean dishes? Or is it a Koreana original? The taste of shiitake mushrooms was probably sweet and savory too. Wakame Soup. This Wakame soup was amazing. It had sesame oil in it, giving it a Korean flavor. It's usually salt and pepper-based, but the addition of sesame oil brings out the umami flavor. The taste of Wakame and green onions was strong, and I really liked this flavor. Original Kimchi. In Korea, they say there are 100 different flavors of Kimchi in 100 households. This Kimchi has a Koreana original taste. Some people come here just to buy this Kimchi. I also like the taste of this Kimchi. Spicy and savory.
