Neighborhood Series: During a walk after eating soba, I stopped by this place. It's a sweet potato shop that only opens every other day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The entrance is shared with an acupuncture clinic run by the clinic's father. I opened the door and rang the bell, but there was no response. After waiting a while, the mother noticed and called the father out. He came out in his acupuncture clinic attire and apologized for not having much prepared today. I reassured him that it was fine, as I just wanted to leave a review, but I ended up buying a recommended Red Haruka sweet potato. There was also a thicker one, maybe Silk Sweet. I've tried growing sweet potatoes in my garden before, but they never grew thick enough to eat. Sweet potatoes require a lot of care even after harvesting, so it's easier to just buy them. I took it home for a snack at 3 o'clock, and it was incredibly soft and sweet. For only 350 yen, it was a great deal for a snack. Thank you for the meal.

It's a new cold day. I was shopping at a nearby Hokuren shop and on my way back, I found a baked sweet potato shop! I thought I'd like to try some, so I went inside. It turns out the shop is run by someone who does acupuncture and moxibustion treatments as a side job. They used to have something like an oxygen capsule before. I bought the Silk Sweet for 350 yen tax included, and the Beniharuka for 350 yen. I also got a 100 yen discount using two stamps from the Maipre app. There's also a special discount for residents of Nishi Ward and Teine Ward where you can get 50 yen off for collecting Maipre stamps. I requested for the softest and biggest sweet potatoes they had. First, I tried the Silk Sweet, which was moist, sweet, and delicious. Then, I had the Beniharuka, which was even better than the Silk Sweet, simply amazing! I'm not an expert, but I think the quality of the ingredients really made a difference. It was incredibly tasty. Thank you for the meal!
