This is a review of a shop that was featured on Sapporo MyReby. I decided to have them deliver to my home from this shop! Although it is only 1 kilometer from my son's house, walking on a snowy road for 1 kilometer can feel quite far. During my one-month stay in Sapporo, I improved my skills at walking on snowy roads, but on this day, I struggled a bit as a bomb low-pressure system was arriving, causing some light snowfall. I truly experienced the difficulty of living in a snowy region. There is no parking lot available. Many shops in this area do not have parking lots. Upon entering, there was a shopkeeper lady present. I asked if they could send the items to Mie, to which she replied that for purchases over 10,000 yen, the shipping fee would be 600 yen. So, I started selecting items to make it over 10,000 yen. I first put five packs of herring for 100 yen each into my basket from the MyReby section... and then chose frozen snow crabs, ikura x2, salmon collar, sliced octopus legs x1, squid chanja, and Tobajirou from the frozen case. When I looked at the shelf for ambient temperature foods, I found that my favorite Rishiri kelp ramen was more than 100 yen cheaper than at New Chitose Airport! I bought 10 packs of that, and also got two packs of scallop curry each. When I looked into the entrance refrigerator, I found Yotsuba's Gouda cheese. I bought it as a souvenir for my cheese-loving dad. In the end, I easily exceeded 10,000 yen. On the 22nd, I specified a delivery date and completed the slip, and the lady kindly offered me some chocolates. The crabs take about a day and a half to defrost, so I had ikura, grilled salmon collar, and octopus slices for dinner on Monday. The grilled salmon collar had large pieces in a vacuum-sealed pack of 3, which I thawed in running water before grilling. The ikura was a bit small in size. The octopus slices were a bit watery, but soft and delicious. The grilled salmon collar had a mild saltiness, allowing the original flavor of the salmon to shine through. The next day, my son and I enjoyed the snow crabs. There was a paper in the box explaining how to defrost them, so we were able to defrost them properly. The miso was a bit light, but there was plenty of meat at the base of the legs, and it was delicious. I look forward to savoring the other items slowly. I asked if they had king crabs, but the shopkeeper said they couldn't stock them because the freezer case was small. She mentioned that the snow crabs were from last year, and the new ones would be a bit more expensive, but they are expected to arrive next month. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Sapporo MyReby shop!!!
