▼Ordered items: Black soy sauce ramen... 950 yen The restaurant was empty, probably because it was outside of lunchtime. The ramen was served quickly, in about 1 minute. The soy sauce soup was on the sweeter side and light on oil, which was appreciated. The green onions were roughly chopped. Thank you for the meal.

The miso ramen at Umisuki is delicious! It has the taste of Sapporo miso ramen, and it's really good. It's not overwhelmingly amazing, but it's just a tasty miso ramen. The mini bowl service with the lunch set is fantastic. The chashu is great and you can ask for less rice. Great place!

The chashu ramen had yellow curly medium-thick noodles that were delicious and coated well with the flavorful soup. The soup had a rich taste and the chashu pork, menma, and crunchy green onions were tasty. Overall, it was a well-balanced and delicious miso ramen, nothing too special but satisfying.

After a meal, I decided to stop by a ramen shop nearby since it was pouring rain. I ordered the red miso ramen for 900 yen. They also had white miso available. Despite there being six people ahead of me, I was seated quickly, possibly due to the rain.

In mid-June 2023, for lunch. On this day, starting from Obihiro and taking the ferry from Tomakomai in the evening to head back home. I decided to stop by here for lunch, thinking of having ramen in Sapporo. I arrived around 1:20 PM, and the restaurant was about 80% full, quite popular. I was seated at the counter. I ordered the "Spicy Miso Tamago Ramen" and for lunchtime, they offered a complimentary mini-donburi, so I chose the "Kimchi Donburi". However, due to the high cost of eggs, they were not serving the warm egg for the mini-donburi at the moment. I was still grateful for the mini-donburi service. Shortly after, the ramen arrived. It didn't seem to have a thick miso flavor with lots of lard. On top of the chashu, there was ginger, perhaps for seasoning. Trying it, the soup was rich in miso flavor rather than fat, giving a refreshing taste for Sapporo-style miso ramen. It had a decent level of saltiness, but rounded out by the umami of miso. The miso was really delicious. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles with plenty of water, typical of Sapporo ramen. The toppings included well-cooked chashu, leeks, bean sprouts, chopped wood ear mushrooms, menma, and seaweed, with a seasoned egg on top. I liked the generous amount of leeks. Also, the flavor changed nicely when I added ginger. It was a perfect way to end my last lunch in Hokkaido with a delicious Sapporo-style miso ramen. I was completely satisfied. I would love to come back and try different kinds of ramen again.

Yakiniku and drinks -> Chinese food and drinks -> finishing with spicy miso ramen with seasoned egg ramen for 1,000 yen. This ramen shop in a prominent location in Susukino. I always pass by but haven't been inside. So, shall we finish here today? It's quite delicious, haha.

Once again, I visited this place while drunk. The food here is really delicious, but I only come when I'm drunk. And I'm usually quite drunk... Today, I ordered the shrimp miso and it was really good. I will definitely come back to eat here again. Next time, I'll come when I'm a little more sober...

After having dinner in Susukino, I felt a bit peckish and decided to check in at a ramen shop nearby. Since I was in Sapporo, I opted for miso ramen! This particular shop offered two types of miso ramen: red miso and white miso. As it was hot outside, I chose the white miso without chili for 900 yen. The bowl arrived in 5 minutes, filled with plenty of toppings like chashu, green onions, bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, menma, and ginger. First, I tried the soup which had a rich miso flavor with a nice depth. Then, I tasted the Sapporo-style yellow medium-thick noodles which complemented the miso broth perfectly. Mixing the toppings, noodles, soup, and melting the ginger, I finished the bowl with satisfaction. It was my first time at this shop, but it was a great find. After drinking, I visited this place for a late-night meal! No wait at 1:30 am. I chose gyoza, beer, miso ramen, and egg. The draft Sapporo Classic beer is delicious as always. It goes great with the gyoza! The ramen soup is rich and the balance of ingredients is good! I added more ginger but couldn't really taste it, still delicious!

Salt, 900 yen. Lunch service includes braised pork belly with mayonnaise rice bowl. Due to the high price of eggs, the rice bowl service is without eggs. It has nothing to do with the braised pork belly with mayonnaise rice bowl. The ramen is properly salty. I feel like reducing the salt a little and adding more flavor would be good. The thick but tender bamboo shoots are delicious.

During the Sapporo Snow Festival, there were many tourists visiting, both domestic and international, so every restaurant had long lines under the cold sky. I wanted to eat something warm, so I came here. After exploring the festival venue, I arrived around 9 p.m. and had to wait for a few people ahead of me, but I got in after about 15 minutes. I ordered the popular menu item, White Miso Butter Corn Hokkaido Ramen. The miso and butter mixed together, creating a rich and flavorful taste. It was perfect for the cold weather outside!

First visit to a restaurant, "Soba and Ryori Gon," which I love. While wandering around Susukino, I noticed a shop with a hiragana name that caught my eye. After checking the menu online, I recognized that they serve typical Sapporo ramen. I had been meaning to visit but never got around to it. When trying out a new restaurant, I usually order shoyu or shio ramen to explore my taste preferences. So today, I ordered the jet-black shoyu ramen with extra noodles for 1100 yen and a highball for 380 yen. I always end up ordering black-colored dishes because I like them. The soup is a combination of seafood and chicken broth. The noodles are not too thick or too thin, just the right size for Sapporo ramen. The black color is not as intense as I had imagined, compared to the image of Isao Kanda's ramen. Overall, it was a safe and reliable ramen, although it lacked any significant features. It was tasty enough, but with the overall improvement in ramen quality across the industry, I didn't feel particularly impressed or moved. It seems that with the rising standards in the ramen industry, customers' expectations have also increased. I would like to visit again when I feel like trying their miso ramen, which seems to be their specialty. One aspect that I highly appreciate is their mini rice bowl series, such as the 350 yen chashu don and the braised pork belly mayo don, which come with a free bowl during lunchtime. It's a great deal. I wish there was a restaurant like this near my workplace. Thank you for the meal.

Red miso ramen. First meal in Sapporo. The old restaurant I used to go to was gone, but another one was still open. It's been a while since I've been to Sapporo. It's just so cold. Carefully making my way in to avoid slipping. I haven't had ramen in a while, but it's this cold my body craves it. Hot. Delicious. To me, it's exactly what miso ramen should taste like. It's starting to warm me up. Thank you for the meal. I got a stamp card.

I went for a meal after drinking. It was a bit late, so it wasn't too crowded and we were seated right away. I ordered white miso butter corn ramen and char siu rice bowl. The soup was miso-based but smooth and easy to drink. The noodles matched perfectly with the soup and were very delicious. This was the third restaurant I visited in Sapporo, and it was a great find.

Around 10 PM, the restaurant was full with one group waiting outside. We were seated after about 10 minutes. The owner seemed to be working alone and was very busy. They were out of rice. I ordered the white miso ramen with less noodles and firm texture. It was a mild flavor, similar to Sapporo miso ramen. My companion ordered the red miso, which I personally prefer. I will try the red miso next time.

I came back to this ramen shop again. I've only been here when I was drunk, but their ramen is perfect for finishing off a night of drinking. This time, I was already full so I went with the spicy miso ramen, which was delicious. I'd like to come back here sober next time, but it's hard given the location. Still, I think this place ranks pretty high among the ramen shops in the area for a satisfying finish to the night.

I visited around 11 AM on Saturday. There was only one other group in the restaurant, so I was able to be seated right away. I ordered the recommended red miso ramen. As part of the lunch special, they also served a free bowl of rice, so I also ordered a grated yam bowl. There were about 5 other options available, such as spicy cod roe bowl. The food was delicious and the fact that a bowl was included made it a good value for the price.

2022♡♡23rd bowl, around 6 pm, Spice Miso Ramen. Went to the beauty salon with my son. Had to wait for about 30 minutes because there were customers before us. Finally got our ramen and it was delicious. I wanted to try the Taiwan Ramen next time. The owner asked us how it was, which was nice. I had never been to this restaurant before. From 11:00 to 15:00, they offer a complimentary mini rice bowl. I ordered the white miso ramen for 800 yen and the complimentary bowl was a chashu bowl. The toppings included stir-fried onions, bean sprouts, one slice of chashu, bamboo shoots, chopped green onions. The chashu was tender, the bamboo shoots were soft, and I liked the texture of the seaweed. The noodles were medium thickness and slightly firm. The soup had a sweet taste unique to white miso, which paired well with the dish. The chashu bowl had diced chashu and a soft-boiled egg, and despite being complimentary, it was quite filling. I would like to try the trigara or pitch-black soy sauce ramen next time. (Feb 2022)
