We watched TV and decided to go to Bamiyan for the first time in a while. There are only two stores in Sapporo, right? We used the app coupons and ordered Bamiyan Ramen, Hot and Sour Noodles, half Fried Rice, half Gyoza, and Spicy Wonton in Chili Oil. Everything was delicious, especially the Hot and Sour Noodles were the best! The Bamiyan Ramen, however, tasted better before (cries). Next time, I want to try the Fried Chicken with Gold Powder and Five Ingredient Yakisoba, or challenge the Taiwan-style Fried Chicken and Fried Rice!

I've never seen a Bamiyan restaurant in Sapporo city before, but when I searched, it turns out there are two branches in the city. I visited one of them located on Sapporo Shinmichi. The layout of the building and parking lot seemed a bit confusing, with the parking lot facing the main road. The restaurant was quite empty when I arrived around 11 am. I chose a table seat instead of the counter seat, and noticed that the outlets were covered and not easily accessible. I ordered the Chicken Chili Sauce lunch with extra rice and used a half-price coupon for some dumplings. I also ordered a drink bar. The total came to ¥965. The soup was too hot, so I drank vegetable juice while waiting. The food was served by a robot after a short wait. The rice portion seemed smaller than before, but it tasted good. The dumplings were nicely cooked and tasty. The chicken chili sauce had a good amount of meat and was well-fried. I ended up ordering more dumplings as I felt the rice portion was too small. Overall, the food was delicious, and I enjoyed it with a latte. The restaurant started to get busier as lunchtime approached. I paid ¥1052 using a discount coupon. It was a nice experience to visit Bamiyan after a long time.

Bamiyan is a Chinese chain affiliated with Skylark, and although they had temporarily withdrawn from Sapporo city, they seem to be increasing their presence again lately. I had lunch here as I was nearby for some errands. The interior has many table seats and has a bright family restaurant-like atmosphere. It was an early lunch, so there were few customers when we entered, but by the time we left, there were many customers, indicating its popularity. You can place your order using the tablet provided at the table, and the cat-shaped robot, familiar in Skylark-affiliated stores, will serve your food. They have a wide variety of standard Chinese dishes, some of which come in different sizes, making it convenient for when you want to try a variety of dishes. This time, we ordered "Fried Rice (549 yen)", "Spicy Tantanmen (699 yen)", "Gyoza (186 yen)", "Xiaolongbao (384 yen)", "Stir-fried Pork and Vegetables (small) 384 yen", and shared them with my wife. Since it is a nationwide chain, all the dishes were good and reasonably priced overall, making it a good choice when you want to casually enjoy Chinese food.

I visited Bamiyan for the first time in a long time. It's been years since all the stores in Sapporo closed down. I saw Bamiyan on TV yesterday and couldn't help but come here. I ordered the hot and sour soup noodles. My colleague got sweet and sour pork and fried rice with chicken. This must be the taste of Bamiyan (laughs).

Since it had just opened, the interior was very clean and the parking lot was spacious! My main goal was the hot pot, so I ordered that using the touch panel at the table. It's becoming quite common these days. Those who order the hot pot can add all-you-can-drink for 990 yen, so we decided to go for it. However, we were informed by the staff that we needed to order two servings of the hot pot to qualify for the all-you-can-drink option for both of us, so we added an extra serving. We chose beef and lamb for the meat. The dishes were brought to us by a robot, which seems to be a trend now. I wonder about that? It almost tipped over when we took the dishes, and it seems unnecessary for the staff to operate it when they're not busy (laughs). Now, let's try the hot pot. Oh, there's so many vegetables for two servings. I'm sorry we couldn't finish them all. As for the taste... Well, I hate to say it, but I think it's better when made at home. It's rather bland, and the noodles or white rice you can choose for the finishing touch are just okay. This is not good. The other dishes were also just okay. The most delicious one was the Taiwanese castella, which was a disaster (laughs). Above all, the ankake yakisoba we ordered at the end was of poor quality and quantity, with thin, almost transparent noodles that resembled glass noodles, unevenly arranged, and although the taste was on the strong side, it wasn't bad. I remember it being much tastier and more decent in the past. Although I feel sorry for saying this, I have a feeling that it won't last long. I will definitely not visit again. Maybe the lunch set menu is better?

My car was almost out of gas, so I decided to stop at "Bamiyan" restaurant that was right in front of me. I quickly used the restroom and felt relieved. They explained the ordering process and serving method to me - basically, you order using a tablet and a robot delivers the food to your table. It's part of the Skylark Group, which includes Gusto, among others. I ordered the daily lunch special for 659 yen (tax included). The water and soup were self-service. The soup was egg-based and comforting in this weather. After a short wait of about 10 minutes, the robot brought my meal. Today's special included fried mackerel and sweet and sour chicken, served on a bed of salad. The flavors were decent, nothing extraordinary, but still tasty. For 659 yen, I was satisfied with the meal. It was a good experience, and I would definitely visit again if I have the chance!

I visited Bamiyan Sapporo Shindo store for lunch. I ordered the Taiwan-style fried chicken, fried rice, dumplings, and xiaolongbao from the menu. The serving robot was very smart. The Taiwan-style fried chicken was seasoned with star anise and cinnamon, giving it a crispy texture and a fragrant soy sauce flavor. Long ago in Sapporo, there used to be a Bamiyan located a little east of the 24-jo station in Higashi-ku. I've been there a few times before, but this was my first time at this particular branch. The location is along Shinmichi Street, and it seems like a challenging spot to maintain a restaurant, especially after places like Steak Miya and Steak Gusto. The parking lot is spacious, and the interior of the restaurant is also roomy with both counter and table seating available (not sure if there is a sunken kotatsu seating area). On this weekday afternoon, it wasn't too crowded, and the wide aisles made it comfortable. However, the noise level can be a bit bothersome if there are loud people around. Orders are placed using tablets on the table, but there are also detailed paper menus available! Very easy to read!! If you have a coupon, make sure to enter the coupon code on the tablet. Since it is part of the Skylark group, there are various coupons available. Be careful because the discount amount may vary even for the same dish. It seems like getting coupons directly from the restaurant is more cost-effective than through the internet or apps. I ordered the Taiwanese-style fried chicken, fried rice, and tan-tan noodles, and skipped the drink bar as it didn't suit my taste. Water is self-service at the drink corner, and you can use the cups from the drink bar. The dishes are brought by a cat-shaped robot (not Doraemon). The speed of food delivery is impressive. The Taiwanese-style fried chicken was crispy, and the fried rice was tasty when seasoned with the condiments on the table and the sauce provided for the fried chicken. The tan-tan noodles have improved since the last time I tried them. Although not exactly to my taste, they were good. I added some chili oil and other condiments to make it spicier. Overall, Bamiyan was tastier than I had imagined. The only downside for me was the drink bar, perhaps due to the limited tea options. They have a tea selection, but no Earl Grey, and the coffee machine offers cafe au lait (cafe latte?) but no cocoa. Soft drinks are a blend of Coca-Cola products. I initially thought it would be difficult to dine alone at this Bamiyan, but the counter seating makes it quite convenient. So, if you're looking for a solo lunch option once in a while, this could be a good choice. The lunch menu is affordable, and by answering the survey on the receipt, I received a coupon for a set drink bar for 99 yen (excluding tax).

On a certain weekday that was a public holiday for others, I visited the Bamiyan restaurant in Higashi-ku, which is reliably open for lunch. The parking lot seems to have enough space for parking. On this day, I decided to order from the menu, and since it was a holiday, there was no special lunch menu, so I chose the simple "Fried Rice (549 yen)" and the "Grilled Dumplings Ramen Set (483 yen)" from the grand menu. Since I had a little time, I also ordered the "Drink Buffet (219 yen)". Oh, the total bill ended up being quite high (^^;). After a while, I heard something nearby... Oh, it turns out the cat serving robot had arrived, but this announcement went unheard by the elderly gentleman with poor hearing (^^;). Now, let's take a bite... The fried rice was freshly made and warm, which was nice. It had a typical taste without being too salty, and I could see green onions, egg, char siu, and a little bit of imitation crab inside. The ramen noodles were thin, wavy, and light yellow, with a chewy texture. The soup had a subtle, gentle soy sauce base that was somewhat difficult to identify, giving it a Japanese-style impression. The toppings included green onions, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and spinach. The set of dumplings had 3 pieces, with thick skins and a flavorful filling that seemed to aim for juiciness. I visited "Bamiyan Sapporo Shindo Store" on August 5th for the first time. It was my first visit. The restaurant used to have locations in Hokkaido over 10 years ago but then withdrew. This time, they are making a comeback in Hokkaido (2nd store). The previous store used to be a steakhouse owned by the parent company, Skylark Group (Steak Gusto). I visited at 5:50 pm for dinner with my daughter. The entrance had a long corridor leading to the restaurant. I wonder if there is a purpose for this long corridor? Upon entering, we were free to choose any seat we liked. This new format aims to minimize contact with staff during the pandemic. The restaurant has 80 seats, and compared to the previous Steak Miyabi which had 130 seats, they have spaced out the seating to focus on COVID-19 measures. The air conditioning has been upgraded to an outside air exchange system, showing the company's commitment to safety. The ordering system was through a tablet on the table, but paper menus were also available. I found the paper menu more convenient as you could see all the information at once. I chose the following items: - Seared Char Siu Black Ma Oil Miso Ramen 879 yen - Yurinji Set Meal 974 yen - Drink Buffet 274 yen * 2 - Xiao Long Bao (3 pieces) 329 yen - Pan-Fried Dumplings 91 yen (with coupon) After a short wait, the staff served the Yurinji Set Meal, and the rest of the dishes were brought to the table by a cat-shaped serving robot, BellaBot. It was my first time seeing a serving robot, and I was a bit flustered when receiving the dishes. According to my daughter, this robot is also used in another group company, "Shabu Leaf." The robot came quite close to the table when serving, which was a bit intimidating (laughs). The robot tray was easy to take from the robot and place on the table, but it was quite close to the edge of the table. I wonder how much this serving robot costs... over 3 million yen including tax... that's expensive. There are probably maintenance and support fees on top of that. The Black Ma Oil Miso Ramen was a limited-time item, and the soup was miso-based with Ma oil drizzled on top. It had a slightly strong flavor and a hint of garlic from the Ma oil. Surprisingly, it was delicious. The noodles were medium thickness, but personally, I found them a bit too soft. The bean sprouts were cooked until quite soft. I wonder if they are heated with the soup? The Char Siu was sliced and then seared (probably with a burner) before being added to the ramen. It was flavorful and added a nice aroma to the dish. Considering the price of 879 yen, it was a good value for money. I later checked the menu and found out that this dish has 1540 kcal, quite high in calories. Probably the soup contributes to the calorie count as well, but it covers over half of an adult male's daily required calories (laughs). Sorry, I didn't realize how difficult it would be to order such a high-calorie menu (laughs). I recommend trying the Skylark smartphone app. Just by installing it, you can access various coupons by entering the corresponding number on the tablet. I will continue to support them in the future. East District New Michi Higashi Area. Open from 10 am, you can enjoy morning ramen and morning drinks. It's been a while since I've been to Bamiyan. The gyoza has great cost performance, and it's surprising that it's still this price. There are a lot of vegetables, so you can eat a lot. The tantanmen has a flavor that even children can enjoy. The Chinese cabbage seems to be imported frozen, so I will refrain from commenting further. Not recommended for adults. The interior is spacious and clean, with a very relaxing atmosphere as it is a renovation of the previous store. Visited for the first time in April 2022, it was my 14th visit of the year. My daughter went back home, so I went out alone with my family. We decided to have lunch at this place, which just opened on April 28. It used to be a steak restaurant under the same "Skylark Group", I think. The building that used to be a family restaurant has been renovated. This is the second "Bamiyan" restaurant in Sapporo, following the Shiroishi Hondori branch. This was my first time using "Bamiyan". It was also my first time trying a family restaurant-style Chinese restaurant, so I decided to go for their signature menu. "Bamiyan Ramen" for 549 yen (tax included). It is a light soy sauce ramen with thinly sliced pork belly chashu, flat menma, green onions, and seaweed. The soup is light and not too salty. The noodles are thin and straight, with a smooth texture. This might be a hit or miss among Sapporo locals. However, considering the price, I think it's cheap. Their target audience is likely families, but they might face competition from "Gyoza no Ohsho" in terms of pricing. Overall, Sapporo Shinmichi is becoming a "family restaurant Ginza" where families gather. It will be interesting to see if chain Chinese restaurants can establish themselves in this area.

I ordered spicy Sichuan tantan noodles, Musashino mapo tofu, pork ginger stir-fry, fried rice, and two drink bars. The spicy Sichuan tantan noodles had minced meat and shiitake mushrooms. The Musashino mapo tofu was not spicy.

When I drank the orange juice at the drink bar, it was too diluted, so I told the staff and they checked the machine. The staff replaced the orange juice and kindly came to my table to inform me. Great service!

The restaurant is newly opened and very clean! The food was served by robots. I was satisfied with both the taste and the price.
