I had been checking out this place for lunch for a while! The opening hours are from 11:30 to 14:00, and the menu consists only of a lunch course (2000 yen), which is a bit on the higher side. I have tried to visit a few times, but it was always closed. Finally, I was able to eat there this time! Yay! The menu only offers the lunch course (2000 yen), there are no individual items. The course includes an appetizer assortment, pasta (choose 1 from 4 options), dessert, and a drink (choose 1 from 3 options). For an additional 200 yen, you can choose coffee soda or herbal tea as your drink. I chose the meat sauce in the style of Aglio Olio pasta and hot brewed coffee. The appetizer assortment included homemade boiled ham made from Hokkaido pork, balsamic sauce, charcoal tuile, omelet with free-range eggs and sakura shrimp, marinated Akane and purple cabbage, pumpkin cream soup, and homemade bread with potatoes. The marinated purple cabbage was my favorite, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The Aglio Olio pasta was made with homemade pasta using Hokkaido wheat, natural salt, and free-range eggs. The pasta was thick and chewy, with a strong wheat flavor. The meat sauce was more like a well-cooked beef stew, full of umami and richness. The dessert was an Aglio-style tiramisu, with nut meringue, black cocoa cake, cheese cream, and coffee powder. It was delicious eaten individually or all together. The hot brewed coffee had a rich flavor without any bitterness. The owner explained each dish meticulously, and even though the portions seemed small, I felt perfectly satisfied after finishing the meal. I would love to visit again to try the cream sauce pasta and the tomato sauce pasta. Thank you, Aglio!
