It was my first visit to a curry restaurant in a residential area of Kikyo in about five years. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the restaurant had more seats than I expected. I ordered the clam curry and beef tendon curry for 700 yen each. I found them quite spicy when I ordered them to be spicy.

At Ai Curry, I had a curry lunch. The house has been renovated to look like a curry shop. When you stand at the entrance, it feels like you're being visited by a door-to-door salesperson, but you change into slippers and are guided to the living room. However, the house is quite spacious. I wonder how many rooms there are in this LDK. I chose the chicken curry and sat at a sunny table seat. An elderly man dressed as a cook in the kitchen is probably the one making it. It seems the wife is in charge of the dining area. This house seems too big for just two people. Maybe it's their second life. The chicken rice has arrived. I can't find the chicken, haha. Maybe the chicken is melted in it. Only the presence of carrots can be felt. It's almost like curry with roux. Please note that. It's only 600 yen! Can't complain... The taste is average.

After the meal, the chatty owner shared some interesting facts about food for about 20 minutes. I recommend visiting this restaurant when you have some spare time.

I'll definitely come back next time, maybe with my wife.

When you enter the entrance, it looks like a regular house. You take off your shoes and go inside. I received an explanation of the menu from the older sister, and I chose the beef tendon curry, extra large, extra spicy. All of this for only 600 yen! Amazing cost performance. It comes with coffee too. The curry, simmered until you can't see the ingredients, was just delicious! As I was leaving, the cook even came out to the entrance to see me off. The service from the older sisters was also very pleasant, so I will definitely be coming back!

In terms of taste and cost-effectiveness, it surpasses a certain popular "Curry K" known as the soul food of the locals. They also offer curry suitable for children, making it family-friendly.
