Located in Sapporo's Chuo-ku district, Nishi 3-13, 2nd floor of the Katsukazu Building in Susukino, this bar is where the reviewer started their evening with a Red Eye before moving on to a Jack Daniel's highball. During the bar's 3rd anniversary event on March 10th, 11th, and 12th, they enjoyed a special cocktail made with gin, soda, and dried fruits such as orange, lemon, and lime slices. The drink had a refreshing citrus aroma and was very soothing. The event also included a raffle, and the reviewer was lucky enough to win a bottle of barley shochu called "Robu." To celebrate, they also shared a sparkling wine from Otaru with their neighbor, which had a slightly sweet and fruity taste. Overall, a delightful experience at this bar.

There is a retro and stylish casual bar with a brick wall that has a nostalgic feel. The wooden interior exudes a sense of history and depth. I went on a Susukino patrol with my usual partner, Mr. Mileviewer, and we stumbled upon this bar located on the 2nd floor of the 2nd Keiwa Building. The master of BASE BAR PAPERMOON is a charismatic character who can entertain solo customers or groups with his engaging conversations. I couldn't resist trying the Taketsuru highball, a Japanese whiskey classic, which was delicious. The beef stew and ham baguette were also delightful appetizers that heightened our expectations for the master's cooking. I also enjoyed a Jack Daniel's highball and a Johnny Walker Black Label highball, both of which were consistently tasty. Overall, BASE BAR PAPERMOON in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is a charming spot worth visiting.

The bar also served stew as a complimentary starter. The atmosphere is cozy and the owner is a great conversationalist.
