Last time it was Katsu Curry Ramen, so this time it's just Curry Ramen. The pork slices here are delicious, although you can't tell from the photo, they are about 1cm thick and have a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Everything was satisfying! Thank you for the meal. Also, since it's just the mom running the place, please help out by bringing your dishes to the counter after you finish eating.

I have heard good reviews about this local restaurant, but every time I tried to go during lunch hours, the parking lot was always full. Finally, I managed to visit for the first time. There were many customers who seemed to be construction workers. The menu inside the restaurant seemed to recommend curry ramen, so I decided to order that. It took about 10 minutes for the ramen to arrive. The service was not particularly fast, as it seemed like the elderly lady was running the place alone. The soup had a familiar taste, like something I had eaten before. It had a strong sweetness from the vegetables, but lacked a strong flavor from animal ingredients. It was like a typical cafeteria-style ramen. The ramen had plenty of vegetables and was quite filling. The chashu was large and thick. The taste was decent, but it didn't have the impact that I had heard about. Perhaps the volume and price appeal more to those looking for a hearty meal.

I had lunch at Tengu Ramen. There was no parking lot or curtain, and the sign looked like it had peeled off. I wasn't sure if they were open. Inside, there were quite a few local people and regular customers. It was a bit hard to spot at first. An elderly lady was running the place by herself. I tried the soy sauce ramen for 600 yen, which was cheap. The chicken broth had a nostalgic taste and went well with the curly noodles from Okada Seimen. The broth was a bit salty, maybe because of the thick and delicious chashu pork slices. The chashu was tender and tasty. The chashu was impressive. When paying, there was an unspoken rule to hold the bowl for the lady to settle the bill. It made sense, considering she was running the place alone. It was a satisfying meal.

I went to a shop where only grandma was working. The visual and taste of the curry ramen, as well as the amount of chashu, were just to my liking. I don't usually go for extra chashu, but this time I was drawn in by the appearance and it was the right choice. A comforting bowl.

This is a ramen shop known for its curry ramen and thick-sliced chashu. The proprietress runs the shop alone, and sometimes I feel like offering to help out. However, I have never actually made such a suggestion. This time, I decided to try the shoyu ramen for the first time. It has a taste of the Showa era. The chashu is fine, but the ramen may be safer with the curry flavor.

I used it for lunch. I ordered curry ramen, and my companion ordered miso curry ramen. It seemed to take some time to make, even though the previous customer's order was already finished. It took about 15 minutes. The taste was just okay. The noodles were a bit overcooked. Well, the chashu was delicious! If it was just the chashu, I would give it a 4.0 rating. Thank you for the meal.

I knew about this restaurant from a blog but it was my first visit. The entrance was not clearly marked so it was hard to tell if they were open, but there were a few customers inside. I considered ordering the Katsu Curry Ramen but wasn't confident I could finish it, so I chose the Curry Chashu instead. An elderly woman was running the place by herself but the service was quick. When the dish arrived, I was impressed by the thickness of the chashu. The soup was also delicious with a salty flavor. I can see why there are many regular customers, it was a taste that could get addictive.

I had decided to eat miso curry chashu ramen at Tengu in Akagawa today. The curtain was only half hung, so I wasn't sure if they were open, but I saw a few satisfied customers inside and decided to go in. I ordered the miso curry chashu ramen as planned, and in the kitchen, there were piles of chashu that looked about 1 centimeter thick, making me excited. The ramen arrived soon after, and I was overwhelmed by the violently thick and tender chashu, along with the well-balanced creamy miso curry soup and slightly curly medium-thick noodles. In short, if you want to get your protein fix, make sure to eat the chashu. Next time, I'll try the curry ramen instead of miso.

I went to eat katsu curry ramen after a long time, but they were already sold out for the day! Is katsu curry ramen really that popular? I ended up getting curry ramen instead!! The taste was a bit peppery at first, but then the sweetness came through. And the chashu was so big... It's also good to put rice in at the end! The place is run by an older lady alone, so if you're in a hurry, maybe avoid it! It was delicious! I'll definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!

This is my second visit, the restaurant opens at 11:30, but when I arrived around 12:00, the parking lot in front of the store was full, so I had to wait for about 20 minutes for a spot to open up! Inside the restaurant, the booth seats were full but there were a few seats available at the counter. The place was packed with customers wearing work clothes and regulars from the neighborhood. I ordered the Special Curry Ramen, which had a thin soy sauce-based broth with a large, tender chashu, wakame, menma, boiled egg, naruto, onions, and bean sprouts. It was very flavorful and satisfying, just the way I like it! I also tried my partner's Miso Curry Ramen, which was also delicious!

At Tabelog, it says they open at 11:30, but they actually open at 11:00. When I arrived at 11:45, there were already 5 customers inside and more coming in. I ordered the Katsu Curry Ramen for 850 yen. It was served quickly, maybe because I timed it right. The katsu was placed on top of stir-fried onions and bean sprouts. The thinly fried katsu was tender and delicious, and it paired well with the spicy curry soup. I also liked the thin straight noodles. It's a flavor that makes you want to come back for more. I'd like to try other items on the menu as well. (June 2019)

I visited after a long time because I wanted to eat it✨ I had miso curry with an extra slice of chashu, half rice, and sprinkled plenty of shichimi pepper on top and ate it⚡️⚡️

If you're looking for curry ramen in Hakodate, this place is recommended. The lady working there is not very friendly, but the exterior of the shop looks old and the sign is faded, giving it a suspicious vibe. However, the inside is clean and well-maintained, so it doesn't give off a dirty impression.
